Detrás de este tema y de este episodio está la raíz del actuar humano de la desolación de un corazón deprimido y de cómo ven el mundo las personas bajo esa enfermedad. Todos los grandes dictadores del mundo han buscado en el poder el sacio del dolor del vacío lo que pone al descubierto una necesidad intrínseca en la naturaleza humana la constante búsqueda del amor. A todos los que les faltó actuaron y podrían actuar así.

Oliver Stone is such a visionary director. This scene got pretty conceptual about halfway through, with the freeze frame and bizarre, repeated sound. It was a bold artistic choice and controversial at the time, but I think with the benefit of time we can see that it really works here.

Phillip was such an annoying villian. He wasn't badass. Or dangerous. He was just some annoying skunk who only had power over people because they were either. Weaker. He suprise attacked them while scting like a good guy. He kidnapped people. Or had an army backig him up. He deserved to be crippled to the point he wouldn't be able to do things except heing kept on a leash like a dog until all he wants is to die

Paris a coward starts the entire war, offers a fair fight to the man whose wife he stole, loses, crawls away like a coward and plunges the nation into more war, eventually having his brother killed who warned him numerous times about his actions, then kills the best character in the show. Garbage character Paris is, very mad that we don’t see his demise on screen

At the end of the day, this show was amazing. It had it's bad episodes, but that's so does every good series. Weather it was intentional or not, the occasional use of primitive 3D computer graphics of the late 1990s - early 2000s in this show was so uncanny when it was on screen. Especially when it heavily contracted the much more detailed 2D animation that the majority of the show used. In my opinion, this can be said for the tower itself in this episode. (Although it's nothing compared to the CGI nightmares within the episodes "Perfect" and "The Curse of King Ramses." If you know, you know, and if you don't, I'd recommend keeping the lights on the first time you watch those two.)
