Hey Spiderfix. I have a HP Deskjet 843c. The lights keep flashing and I can’t get it to work. I have had it since new and its worked without fail for over 20yrs. Now its suddenly stopped working. Hopefully if I follow your maintenance video I’ll get it to work. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏽

This is the best CR2032 CMOS hack I have seen! Well done! I have not seen anyone use a heat shrink tube sideways for isolation, and then tuck the conductive tape inside the little pockets. Neat! I saw a guy from Argentina use a small piece of isolation tape to isolate between positive and negative terminals where the connectors meet the battery. I did the same. But here you have isolation between the terminals going all around the battery, which is even better in case the wires move. I didn't have a heat shrink tube in the right size, and I didn't have a conductive tape. I pried away the connectors using a precision screwdriver instead of a knife with a snap-off blade. A word of advice: you better watch it so you don't cut yourself when using a knife as a prying tool, especially one where the blade is so thin and designed to snap. I then flatten out the metal connectors with a combination pliers and then used needle pliers to bend them in at the tips to create hooks. I picked up this trick from the guy from Argentina. These hooks go against the battery terminals to creates more volume for a tighter fit when you wrap the isolation tape around. So I just finished it off with isolation tape, with maybe three wraps around, making sure I cover all the surface and no part of the battery is exposed. I later had to press in the hooked metal connectors underneath the tape using combination pliers again, to flatten out the battery pack, because it was pushing up from the board too much and didn't make good enough contact with adhesive pad. I used Tesa double sided adhesive pads to hold the battery in place on the board. But you Sir have the best idea for a professionally done CR2032 CMOS battery pack! I will borrow from your ideas next time.

Rachid, But why use a jeweler's screwdriver to mix the two part epoxy? Use a disposable toothpick maybe? Also, you must rent, I would never mix two part epoxy on top of a bare labradorite counter top. Brave man. Maybe too brave... :)

Bonjour, j'ai un soucis, depuis un court circuit avec les fils de mon autoradio ma voiture demarre plus, y a que les veilleuses qui fonctionnent, plus de klaxon, j'appuie sur le plib de la clef la centralisation ne fonctionne pas, pas de phares etc... j'ai a l'écran "anomalie antivol électronique " j'ai remplacé kit de démarrage, bsi,calculateur, bsm et neiman, est ce que ça peux venir du com2000 ? Merci

my benq 24 in monitor picture was vibrating every 15 secs after 5 min of power up, opened & thoroughly cleaned everything, found out the flat lvds cable gold contacts had all blackened, light sanded them with sand paper & cleaned with wd 40, still no success, kept the monitor for 11 months after power up still problem remained, somebody told me to increase brightness as picture was too dim i increases to 50% & the problem vanished instantly, but now i get this random solarizing .

I'm on my second charger and it's starting to flash when I use it. It's only 4 months old. Microsoft really needs to design a better power supply

merci pour ces informations, j'ai une 206 1.4 hdi et aleatoirement j'ai l'abs qui s'allume, le test du moteur abs à la valise fonctionne bien, j'ai refait les soudures dans le module electronique abs et nettoyé la connectique moteur, ca ne tient qu'un moment. J'ai récemment les phares qui s'éteignent tout seul en roulant de nuit, et voir même qui s'allument au bout d'un moment après avoir fermé la voiture à clé (moteur arrêté). Auriez vous des schémas du bsm (cablage electrique ) S'il vous plait, pour regarder précisément quelle fiche regarder pour l'abs et les feux. Le COM 2000 a été nettoyé et pas d'anomalie interne. par avance merci de votre aide

Hi. I own a HP Deskjet 825C that looks the same as yours and I will try to open it and clean it since my cartridge leaked alot of ink inside. I have a question. At minute 14:15 did you just clean that piece or also oiled it? I am a girl and unacquainted with these stuff and that part not sure if it's just cleaning. Thanks for your video.
