Well, I tried to fix and clean my old 845C according to your Video advice but stumbled upon a few flaws.
First, at 5:10 we see the printing patrones in their resting position but in the next scene at 5:32 they somehow left their resting position, even in 3:06 you pull the plug and in the Video you don`t put it in again until the end.
But okay, I plugged it in and put them into the replace position to get to that plastic box like you did.
Then, at around 7:30 you unscrew 2 screws and then you pull out very easily the little plastic tank or what it is with a pincer. Even I have the same printer I couldn`t do it, because the tank is also hold in position by a few plastic"noses" from underneath and I couldn`t figure out how to get the tank out without breaking them or disassemble the whole printer. So I stopped there and put everything back.
Of course, the printer still doesn`t work.
Hi, Before disassembling the waste ink tank, you must start the printer, then open the cover so that the cartridges move to the middle, wait for the waste ink tank motor to stabilize, then disconnect the power supply so that the cartridges remain in the middle and the motor of the waste ink tank remains in the rest position and at this time you disassemble the ink tank. Very helpful video, thank you! Can you please advise how to position the waste ink container and cartridges after the assembly before turning on the printer? Should waste ink be pushed to the back, and cart container in the middle?

I have a problem with that model, flashing lights off and sheet pass, I did full maintenance on the printer and the fault continues, the cartridge carriage moves twice and stays still. I also cleaned the encoder, do you know what fault it can be?

Just bought an old one of these. Do they have drm like new hp printers where you cant reset the ink levels?
For this printer you don't need to reset the ink cartridge chip

Hi, If the printer prints a bad print quality then you have to change the print head or the cartridge but in your case the head is merged with the cartridge so by changing the cartridge we will have a good print quality but you have to look for a good cartridge that has not expired, and if you want to clean the contact between the cartridge and the printer you can use cotton or a cloth and alcohol
