When we get older we seem to hit rock bottom.
😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣
@@40thplumengineering61 Do you have any of the old plum bobs we used in the later days and still use.
@@crawwwfishh3284 sure do my grand father was a bridge builder so I have some huge ones . Have 10lbs one all the way down to small carpenters bobs.
@@40thplumengineering61 I’ve used the small ones but never new there were big ones.
Looks like some short animals in there too.
Trash panda , turkey, coyote
@@40thplumengineering61 heehee
looks like quite a few
Some funny looking deer 🦝 😆
Looking good
I’ve got a idea I’m just a kid so ima attach a drill to one o wait we have a Zip disk and a diamond blade for it heheh but any tips for how I could make it stay still?
I've cut alot of stones with a grinder and a dimond wheel . Be sure to put the stone in a vice for secure holding ,use hearing, and eye protection . Just cut slow and be careful 😎 ps wear a dust mask so you don't trash your lungs like I have.
@@40thplumengineering61who. Needs eye protection I have glasses 😂
Rocks are great you never know what is inside . Have fun 👍
Sweet looking shinies 40th & Plum Engineering, looks like it was a good collecting trip, keep us posted on your other material please.
Will do thanks for watching 👀
Third! Woot!!
A lot of neat pieces but that huge chonck on P wood is definitely my favorite!
That is a nice piece of petrified wood
Cool! Those really cleaned up well.
They cleaned up pretty nice.
For a minute there, I thought Big Foot got em.
Those are beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Wow, you got a good one for sure 40th & Plum Engineering, very nice saw. A couple of thoughts, both my vintage tumblers used plywood for the base, I am not an expert but would assume that that was also used for saws, or it was a kit back when plywood was the new wonder material and DIY was just a book series away. Either way it is really nice and I hope you have many happy slices together.
Thanks for checking it out . It was a great gift very well made and didn't need much ta get it going . Some slicing in the near future 😆
That's really cool. He was a nice guy.
Aren't chert and flint actually a type of quartz too? Glad you got the rock saw too. Very cool!
Ding ding you are correct
Neat pieces! That rectangle one is really cool. Can't wait to see the final products
That is some sweet stuff 40th & Plum Engineering, I like the blend of colors, and that they are soft colors if that makes sense. And for sure a reason for a bigger slicer, in this case bigger is for sure better, so go getter done! And please do continue to do videos, you Rock!
Thank you my friend. Utah was a tresure trove of beautiful specimens. More slicing to come soon .
Looks like an awesome batch 40th & Plum Engineering, how's the Lotto holding up? And what was the fellows take on the chert/flint debate? And it sounds like your friend hooked you up very nicely, I look forward to seeing this saw saw. I hope all is well and your summer is as well swell.
The old lot o toumble is running strong. The motor upgrade has worked out better than I ever imagined. The chert discussion was intence 😆 the fella corrected me when I stated flint was a chert that had just formed in a difrent host outher than limestone . He was having none of it hehe. I'm just a backwards hillbilly but I know my chert. 🤪
A lot of pretty rocks.
First! Woot!! Woot!!!
Thsnk you my friend . I'll put together a vid on the gifted saw very soon . The generosity of strangers never ceases to amaze me . We were set up at a local market selling rocks when the old fella struck up a conversation about artifacts which lead him to gift me the saw. 🥹
LMAO. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt too.
That's a cool looking rock
We almost got hit by a lightning strike there. 25 feet. Hope you are ok too!
Nothing hurt but my pride. Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing..so cool
I'm watching!!😬😬
Beautiful tractor. My grandpa ordered his IH 756 loader tractor with an ezee-on loader with a heavy duty grapple fork brand new. My brother uses that tractor as his main feeding tractor during the winter for feeding the cattle.
Solid old machines 👌
My mom just inherited my grandpa's HD7 that has been parked in the quancet all these years. Grandpa used to start it once every 10 years. He quit using it when he bought a front wheel assist loader tractor to open the snow drift covered roads.
I live in the middle of no ware and have had to use the old girl more than once ta get the road open 😀. Thanks for watching
😮 that's some gnarly driving!
Looks like a lot of fun
Very pretty finds
Very cool. Looks like y'all had a lot of fun
Nice
I involuntarily started singing On Top of Ol' Smokey and I'm in Los Angeles. If you don't live here then you have no idea how weird that moment was, at least I was alone, however, my dog is in shock!
Those are pretty rocks.
Nice hog nonchalantly hanging out in the background :)
Good eye😎 the old shovel is the only scooter that gets to hang out in the house. The rest have to sleep in the shed. 😜
You ok ? little buddy
Yall lost the election for trump last time. Shame on you
Not us he won by 15.4% in MO 🫡
Well my friend, hope you did not get hurt but I think you have yourself a great way to end all your future videos. Think of it as a gimmick.
Looking like fun. Pretty view.
Heck yeah I’m nearby there I might have to make my way over. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks for checking out my channel 😀 hope you find some great one's 👍
Cool finds!
You should try rock hunting the Canadian shield. Nothing beats rocks that have been fused together by a massive glacier retreating. You find everything the ice dragged with it perfectly fused together inside.
Hope to make it north sometime day. Thanks for checking out the channel 👍
I really hope you didn't injure yourself. In saying that, you sir made me laugh so hard it made my day.
Thanks for checking out the channel 👍
