      At school Ethan receives occupational, physical and speech therapy (both feeding and communication). Outside of school he receives occupational, physical, speech (feeding and communication combo), aquatic (which is PT in a pool) and therapy horse riding. He loves all his therapist and his favorite activity is riding a horse. 🏇

    I want to add:..I think Special Ed gets a bad rap/reputation..or at least, it did when I was kid and pre-teen. Special Ed is needed..Parents do not have the time to be teachers, therapists..(and, everything else in between) they also have to work, put food on the table..take care of other siblings..& send their kids to other programs..Also, for me being in Special Ed I DIDN'T get alot of homework..being in Special Ed means you lean at a slower pace, YOUR own pace..& you learn things a little differently-and, that's ok👌 And, you make friends along the way..💕 📝

    Hey.. 🎤 this is a good song!! I like it!! It's so catchy!! It makes me really want to 💃 dance.I was in Special Ed too growing up(in the 80s) I needed it, because I CP & it took me time to learn things..🎶 🎶 I hope everyone has a wonderful day 💕 (I'm going to watch this again 👍 👀 The kids made me laugh and smile, this put a smile on my face.. :) Mandisa, R.I.P you, beautiful soul 💐 Your music should be part of a soundtrack 🔊 LOUD!! 😇

    My son was diagnosed with complete Agenesis of the corpus Callosum. The pregnancy was stressful. From the doctor giving us the option to terminate the pregnancy and not knowing what to expect. My son will be 2 in June. He is walking and talking better than my first son at his age. Don’t let the doctors put a limit to what your kids can do! Keep striving Ethan

      @johnolsson3997 Receiving a diagnosis does come with a list of emotions and questions. One thing to remember is it’s just a diagnosis it does not define your child. The diagnosis is simply a part of them. Ethan is 5 years old and by the grace of God he is able to do many things that we were told by doctors he would never do. Where there is life there is hope and where there is hope there is life.

    So glad he was born. I have seen lots of children with Downs Syndrome. Some are very high functioning. One young man who was a friend of my daughter worked at Wal-Mart. He was faster on the key board of a computer than me and I have a MS. My daughter was handicapped and she lived to age 34. I still miss her. She didn't have a normal life but she had a great life.

    I think doctors say the child has high chance of in utero death to prompt abortion. They are trained to promote and advocate for only "healthy" pregnancies.

    • @llhtulsa
      @llhtulsa ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jessica! If your toy is electric it will need batteries to operate and your toy should come with batteries. Maybe we can do a video in the future of adapting non-electric toys!

    • @jessicazhang6497
      @jessicazhang6497 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@llhtulsa Hi yes the battery toy using 3x1.5v. is your video restricted to different types of battery or no restriction?

    • @minimumviablepizza
      @minimumviablepizza 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jessicazhang6497 I know this comment is old but thought I'd comment for anyone in the future. The battery's voltage won't matter for switches if it's a safe voltage to work with. The switch is connecting the +ve and -ve battery loop together so the toy turns on, it is not impacting the batteries at all. Depending on the toy 3x1.5v could mean 6.5v or 1.5v but last longer, but both are well under 20v which is where strong caution would be advised for anyone who does not know what they are doing. I would expect most toy voltages would be fine and likely 12v, 9v or 3v.
