Lee, I have been running a Tonex One into the send/return on the GX-10, obviously without any GX-10 internal amp. Sounds fantastic and creates unlimited amp options. However, I would like to add an IR into the chain on the GX-10. Is that possible or can IRs only be added to GX-10 internal amps? How can I accomplish this goal?

I followed your PEQ settings and man did it saved me a lot of time! I only have to put some effects and I’m good to go!! Thanks a bunch! 👍🏽

Really helpful Lee. I just bought the GX10 and would not have know to switch the speaker off when routing through my amp cab. Any more tips and tricks will be much appreciated.

Dear Mr Lee.....I have two inquiries. The 1st one... Is it possible to assign one set of stereo output (ie, the main Left & Right outputs) to have all the sound of a preset, WITHOUT the IR/Cab Sim, at teh same time a 2nd stereo output (ie, the Headphone output) with all the same sound of this preset but this time with the IR/Cab Sim, included. The idea is so that i could send a stereo output with the IR/Cab Sim to the PA/Recording tracks (stereo), while the other output without the IR/Cab Sim, goes to a pair of guitar amps' Effects Return or Power Amp input. The 2nd one is...Is it possible to send MIDI Programme Change to the GX-10 via its USB (using a USB Host to MIDI device) from a MIDI foot controller switcher or a loop switcher which has MIDI Out? I hope i am not asking a stupid question... Btw, the video is so informative & very well made....Awesome bro!

I find that regardless of the the input sens I put in EG +10 I never reach anywhere near red. Any reason you can think of why I can't reach the red? New strings and volume turned max on guitar. Cheers. Great info on all your GX100 videos.

Great video. Came from a GT1 to the GX10 and it was a lil overwhelming in just how much you can do but taking it slow and learning bit by bit has been fun. This video helped. So far my favorite thing I've found is pushing down the 4 control knobs will move the parameters in increments of 10 instead of 1.

Curious to know what specific IRs you've loaded into the Boss IR-2? Cheers.

Solid vid. I find I’ve gravitated to Soldano tones on various modellers and am interested in trying this pedal. I’m more rock than metal these days so I’m thinking it may be what I’m looking for. I like how you paired it with the IR2 for the demo. 🤘

Could you compare the GX10 with the ME90 ? Is the AIRD the same sound on a cheaper model?

Great video. Totally agree on just turning off the IR myself rather than messing on the Output settings. In my case, I use the GX10 thru the Return input bypassing my physical amp's settings, do I turn off the IR or the Cab/Speaker Sim? Thanks!

Hi Lee, do you notice some ground issues with your gx10, especially with high gain presets ? Mine is unusable 😩 even with the noise suppressor and original power supply 😢

Today I tried this with big Marshall combo amp. I connected to return. But I couldn’t decide which output settings I should select. I confused so much and I got lost. How should I use this unit with big combo amps and which settings does give me a good tone?

I just got the GX-10. I'm not much into the over driven tones. Can you do a video based on the clean tones this unit offers? Thanks.

Great content! I recently got a BOSS GX-10 effects processor, but after attempting a system software upgrade, the unit got stuck, and now it won't boot. I've contacted local service providers, but they couldn't fix it, and there's no warranty support here in my country. The unit became useless after the upgrade attempt. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any advice on possible fixes or recovery methods would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I just wanted to know about your experience when playing live and switching patches- how smooth is it to transition from clean to distortion, overdrive, or wah, as well as using a volume pedal and multiple patches? How does it compare to a bigger pedalboard with 4-5 switches and dedicated sound bank buttons for switching? Looking forward to your thoughts!
