Good. If you are happy with it, that's all that matters

Hi. As a very experienced modeller may I offer you some advice.Yes you are right this is a very old kit , nearly fifty years old. But With kits like these Vintage Classic kits its all about the preparation. Before you started this kit you should have sanded away all of the injector pin marks. This being an open vehicle makes them very obvious. Also by sanding parts down you would have got closer to scale thickness on some parts. Some of these kit parts are better off being replaced with scratchbuilt parts by using plasticard instead. The tyres needed to be sanded down to as you left the mould seam on them. You could also use some model putty on some of the joints too. If you had mounted the gun supports on a thin piece of plastic then you would have been able to mount it after painting the interior. You need to get some better brushes, smaller , newer and then look after them as well. Slow don with your builds and work on each part carefully, take your time. I recently built a Zvesda BMW motorcycle and sidecar and it took me three weeks , I took my time and got a great result. I am happy to offer you any advice that I can so please feel free to ask. It will be my pleasure to help you improve your builds in future. Good luck and keep modelling my friend. Regards.
