Well...I am a baby boomer, single happy and have more than enough...been through the meat grinder, but also raised 4 daughters, some at the top others not but it was priceless in the meaningful part of existence...and married to narcissists was part of the pain that makes happiness that much better.I would not do it again if I ever had the first clue...but I did..the reason I responded here and it is responding too a particular comment on the expense of preschool...I owned one with a narc...the reason they are not offered in public school at this age is...they are not really ready...they don't want calendars in kindergarten rooms because it confuses them and has zero positive impact on the children..how do I know this ,my ex got her doctorate proving herself wrong in her dissertation..because we believed otherwise...there is no evidence proving across the board preschool impacts the learning of the young mind...but ....some do, on a spectrum there are gifted children and special needs children.I am sitting well now because of a preschool, but put your preschool money into college hopes....

I'm only 41 but I remember taking spring and summer college courses on various subjects in my 20s. In every course there would always be one or two people between the ages of 55-65. I remember these people were always easy to talk to and atleast on the surface seemed happy. Maybe there's something to it.

Toxic masculinity is a term invented by lesbian feminists out of deep-rooted envy, hatred, and greed. Is it possibly lucifarian feminists hell-bent on destroying God's sanctity of marriage and the family? Quite possible. Either way, it's all hidden in plain sight and it is everywhere.

No, we’re not all the same - anymore than men are all the same. Men, when the women in your life (mothers, sisters, aunts, female friends) warn you that the woman you are dating is a nut job, LISTEN TO US! I’ve had several serious conversations with men in my life who I love about the psycho they have decided to marry and they blow me off. Well lo and behold, a couple children later, all of those red flags I identified years earlier are now unbearable to the man. A horrible evil divorce follows and my guy is devastated. The flags were always there my dudes! I tried to warn you! Yes, some women are absolutely insane (as are some of you men) but you’ve got to really look out for these things and take your time dating.

My ex left me 2 years ago after 23 years together and 2 kids, 2 weeks after she left me she was with another man, she is now with a different man. I am not going to lie I was devastated, it seems to me that women cannot live their lives alone and need a man to suck the life out of and then move on to the next one once they are bored. But I am now at peace, lonely but at peace. To all you men out there going through something similar stay strong my brothers you got this and it will get easier!

My x wife got removed from house. When she came home drunk from bar and hit slapped me while I was in bed. Right in my back where I had fusion . 3 surgery s total. While I was on run away from her. Saying out loud I'm not going to engage. Oldest son 17 took pictures of hand print on my back. We both got restraining orders but judge made her move. I got temporary custody. Now a year later divorce is done. 40k in lawers fees. Waiting for half 401k. Sold family house. I got a new truck paid in full. She is renting and with a dude she has been talking to behind my back for years.

What are the chances that your ex-wife was sabotaging your marriage on purpose because she felt or met someone else that she believed would fill these ridiculous paradigms that American women adhere to? The fact remains that she would end up in another unhappy situation being that her Baseline is unhappy with everything.

Minor children? We are in an epidemic of grey divorce. Many men are being disenfranchised after decades of toil and marriage, just as they near retirement. I know the courts are enabling this. Women know this and have little incentive to go mediation. This is legalized theft. What's your advice to us. Especially after they have filed and lawyered up. Even if its just no fault.

This video really helped put my ongoing need for a female relationship into perspective. Even after 2 divorces and several shorter relationships, I still had an unrealistic desire to find the "right girl" that will make my good life even better. That desire has evolved over the years and expectations have changed to mostly physical rather than emotional. I think I'm on the right track. This really has been a lifelong learning experience.

I read years ago that if you are to have an enemy, it’s often better that it be a man rather than a woman because angry women are capable of much greater cruelty than men. I heard a cop once say that some of the meanest criminals he had encountered were women. The femme fatale is not mythological. Many have heard of the ancient queen named Jezebel (circa 800s BC), a name synonymous with incredible cruelty. Her husband Ahab was also disturbingly corrupt, but for outright meanness, he couldn’t hold a candle to his wife Jezebel.

I've been happily married for over two decades now. And it's because my wife actually knows how to forgive. She's not stockpiling some stupid list of grievances to spring on me so she can "win" some argument. If she has a problem with something I've done, she's direct about telling me what the problem is and how it affects her negatively. She doesn't assume that I'm doing it with the intention of hurting her, and she's quick to forgive. I try to do the same for her. I think the problem is simply lack of healthy relationship modeling. She had a traditional two-parent home with parents who acted this way and didn't tolerate any catty backstabbing. So she turned out well and is disgusted by women who try to hamstring each other behind the scenes.

In the UK, one of the things that kills more men under the age of 40 is suicide. Where an MP in a select committee suggests a men's day to discuss this and others is laughed at by a woman. One of the other biggest killers is Prostate cancer. Can you imagine if this situation was reversed?

One of my aunts, who is not strictly a modern feminist, but more like have a similar line of thought, used to bring down "men" in every opportunity she got, not in a serios way but more like a joking way. She also have a lot of feminist men hating friends. ( She is a bit old btw, so she kind of faced some actual misogyny in her younger years) Recently she admitted she hated the women only carriages in the metro rail in our country , because, they won't give up their seats for her !!!!

The idea of deciding your boundaries *before* a relationship begins is key. In a long-term relationship involving significant financial or social entanglements let alone children together such boundaries can sometimes be difficult to enforce. If I were ever to divorce or to become a widower, it's very unlikely I'd remarry. If I were to get involved with any woman in any way, I'd make sure to be upfront about my intentions. No marriage, no cohabitation, no mixing of finances. I wouldn't want to be with anyone for any other reason than enjoying their company.

To be honest, you dont't need to imagien it as there are two sets of very good examples you can use. The first (as I notice in the comments) is the book "self made man" by Norah Vincent who pretended to be a man for 18 months (I read it about a month ago and it is a fascinating) and trans men. I think there is a very good reason why when discussing trans rights that is almost alwasy trans women who are the ones discussed. I have heard some interviews conducted with trans men and while they are happy to be in the body that feels right, they find being a man so much harder than it was when they were a woman.

Even if she doesn’t poison the minds of the kids, when she gets child support to the level that it is, it allows them to live so much better than the man, it makes them look like they can manage life so much better and the man is left just trying to do something with the small time he has with his kids with so little.
