Blowout: Ocean Theme 016
Today I did a blowout using different shades of blue from @MixedMediaGirl pouring paints, and Fiona Art’s pearl pouring medium. Colors are listed in the video.
I am trying to test different methods to create an ocean theme for the ceramic octopus that my husband wants me to do a pour on.
Once I find the right colors and method, I will be replicating (to the best of my ability) it onto a wooden canvas so we can mount the octopus.
Look forward to any advice, criticism, etc..

In MY Zone: 3 Different Techniques with Only 3 Colors 015

Just want to zone out and paint. I used a few different techniques with only 3 colors. Pearl White, Amsterdam Black, and Folk Art Antique Copper (thanks @MasseArtStudio for turning me onto the Antique Copper). Good day to you all! After 4-5 failed bloom’s, I finally had success. Even though I had a rough day in the studio, I never gave up! This my friends is an EPIC FAIL, and has a swear word. I was attempting to do 3 blooms on 1 vinyl record. I have been using a new pillow paint that I am not a fan of (Valspar 2000). Should have stopped while I was ahead. Out of all the blooms, only 1 turned out. Having an issue with my new pillow paint. Colors used were TLP, Artist Loft, and Arteza (all neon colors). Lose the music. If I am trying to learn, I would rather have you explain what you are doing instead of having music.
An open cup is very basic. I believe in the description I list paint consistency. As long as consistency is right, you just pour into a cup you cut. I can do a step by step without music if that would help? Here to help beginners. 😊
@@AngelasReelCreation - The music has nothing to do with the paint pour. I understand you want something to add to your video besides quiet but maybe music without words would be better. Just offering suggestions.
This was actually my first video after 5 years of painting. My 2nd video I ditched the music and planned to not use music in future videos, but it was kind of my test pilot video. I agree music doesn’t need to be there. In future videos I may have music in the background, but will be talking through it. Thank you for the tip… Filming and editing has been a challenge (probably why I didn’t start when I began painting. 😂).
