Reda was Doug's whore that he had in Leslie Co. His wife was Jane Fugate. He did not start Fugates Entertainment. Condy Fugate bought the land on the court house steps and told his brothers that they were going to put Second Creek on the map. That's the real truth. Reda was a side chick and when his wife Jane left she slide in Doug's life . But don't get it twisted she was a scum til she got with the Fugates.

@@patrickhundley1203 oh yeah I respect opinions well in life in general cause there's really no right or wrong with stories like this. But 1 channel was "investigating" if that's what ya wanna call it but heard a goat noise and was running around like a nutcase 😂. I'm like ummm it's Kentucky you're gonna hear noises like that. Like for example I lived out in country all my life and bought a house in town and damn neighbors have a rooster lol. I'm not gonna lie and say it wouldn't be awesome if the pope lick monster was found. I think alot of ppl think the trestle is out of service not realizing it's still used to be honest because of how old it looks plus the allure it brings. Sorry I tend to ramble but awesome video ♥

Fun Fact: Even the STM hates Joliette 😂 At least it’s better than Frontenac 10:14: I’ll make it short This station was in honor of Louis Buade de Frontenac , he was the general governor of New France (Quebec’s former name) , he’s also famous for his quote (Translated from French) “I will answer to your general by the mouth of my canons and gun shots”. Frontenac was a pretty bad ass character if you ask me 22:22: LaSalle actually won an architectural award for its design 23:38: The Reason why De L’Église is designed this way is because of the soil in this area is surrounded by a weak Utica shale formation, which why some station beyond LG has to be built cut and corner, extremely deep or extremely shallow or stacked platforms. Only Monk station doesn’t have this kind of issue.

Not surprising to this guy, who's had about 40 yrs of commuting experience on the island. For sure, getting around the city is faster than anything else. I've kept a keen eye on times over the years no matter what mode I am taking [car, bike, walk, bus, bike...]. Bike, on avg is fastest. And, yes, I stop at the red lights. NIce video- it's a nice little experiment and an eye-opener to non cyclists.

Pro tip: Make sure the saddle height is right for you, so you don't waste energy. Also, ride every day or at least going to work/commute. You will naturally become fit and that bridge 'climb' will be laughably easy. It's surprising what the human body can do with enough practice. Also, you say there's no payoff. I beg to differ: You enjoy a nice sunny day instead of waiting for a smelly, overcrowded train. I enjoyed the video and editing though.

ive never used a bixi so idk how the gears work for it. but definitely need to gear down if youre struggling that much on an uphill a 3 minute difference is HUGE considering metro youre forced to go and stop and deal with more people. while a bike you get to go where you want get the scenery, exercise, etc. bike clears metro imo

    • @patrickhundley1203

I always feel the magic of the Bixi is combining the two modes of transport. Often a Bixi stand is closer than the metro and you can take the bike to a metro stop in a direction to avoid the crowded part of the metro line. In my case I would leave the Old Port and make it to a Metro in Verdun. This would same 20 minutes off the rush hour commute. Also the metro was less crowded.

    • @paul1993willy

haha crossing the bridge on the non elctric bixi is crazy, you chose the most difficult route possible i think big thing to keep in mind is the coverage of transit, especially metro biking is way faster for most of the trips on the island, and if you have a electric bike, well there's no comparison in that case

To be fair, the metro run included a 15 min walk which they might have been able to shorten by 5 min if they’d taken the blue line or a bus to the orange line, or by 10 min if they’d taken a Bixi to the orange line. Likewise they’d have shaved a significant amount of time on the Bixi if they’d taken an electric one.
