    I am rhumotoid arthritis patient since 4 year and in 2023 nov my spine get inflamed and starting fused and now current my spine is fused in some parts. Question is my lifespan get decrease ? Bcz of spine some parts fused and best part is i can do running gym cobra stretch pls reply of ques ❤

      @@keshavplayz18 With modern treatments, AS does not normally affect life expectancy significantly, although the condition is associated with an increased risk of other potentially life-threatening problems. I would advise speaking about this question with your rheumatologist.

    1. The most important thing is lowering systemic inflammation. If chronic inflammation is high, trying to improve strength or flexibility with axial spondyloarthritis is like adding furniture to a sinking house. Address inflammation first-through lifestyle changes or, for some, medication. 2. Flexibility training isn’t instant. Just like strength training, it requires specific goals and methods to strengthen end ranges of motion and get the nervous system used to more demand. Following a structured program can make a huge difference in quality of life with AS/SpA. 3. Be cautious about following flexibility advice from people with naturally high mobility, as their methods may not be as effective for those who need to build flexibility through intentional training. It’s important to find approaches that fit your specific needs and limitations. 4. Even with spinal fusion, it’s possible to improve flexibility in other areas, like hamstrings and hip flexors, which can reduce pressure on the spine.     Hi Dear friend - Why did you do kyphotic position at the end of the video by bending your neck and back simultaneously and strongly I mean after flexors at the end ? Is it a part of the exercise especially the last kypotic position? Please provide your inputs.

      @@keshavplayz18 Hi, I'm sorry that you texted that message. That thought is very sad. Fusion of spine does not decrease life span.... it does differ person to person...on what you are capable of doing. Example climb a ladder, bike ride, bending etc...... some people are told they would never walk again who were paralysis then their walking. You can always call one of your doctors you trust...have a great day

    same, same.. but it takes time to process this :) newly diagnosed ppl - dont be hard on yourselves, recieving AS diagnose is stressfull too, after you make peace with it (and yes you will,sooner or later) I can confirm too that things will improve <3 #ASstrong

    You're an inspiration Jamie. I think people with AS are unjustly projecting their frustrations on you because they are coping with their own situation. One day, I hope to get back to some heavy weight training at the age of 58, but I am still in the process of accepting my AS situation and that it is going to be a journey to find my own path to success.

    Not luck. I have been following this man's journey and see that mindset, choices, focus, determination, resilience, and consistent hard work are his formula for success. Rather than compare your case of A.S. to his, know that he is here to help you from wherever you're at up to wherever you believe you can go. There are vastly different ability levels (and ages!) in his community…getting better than they were before. Including me- 😊

    I often receive criticism online from people who claim that I must not have a severe case of Ankylosing Spondylitis. This couldn’t be further from the truth. There was a time when I could barely walk and was mostly bedridden, relying heavily on medication. Over the past decade, I’ve worked hard to improve my situation, investing countless hours in various approaches such as gut health, grounding, nutrition, detox, sleep, supplements, sun exposure, trauma work, somatic practices, hot and cold therapy, yoga, strength training, and addressing my relationships and personal identity and much more. In the words of @davidgoggins “you don’t know me son”.😤😂 Even with all this effort-at least 10,000 hours-my condition isn’t perfect, and I still deal with symptoms, including fatigue in the past year. It’s frustrating when people dismiss my experiences as mere luck. I understand that everyone has their own struggles, and I don’t judge anyone else’s journey. My point is that you can’t truly know what someone else has been through, so I try to approach everyone with respect. #spondylitis #ankylosingspondylitis #ankylosingspondylitiswarrior #axialspondyloarthritis #ankylosingspondylitisawareness
