This is an okay documentary. But there is too much focus on sabbath and just brushes over bands that have a bigger impact on doom

Well done! The only thing that struck me as 'off' is that Wino didn't split from Vitus in 1985, he was already doing The Obsessed then (their s/t was recorded that yr but not released until 5 yrs beyond via the Hellhound label) Scott Reagers was the original Vitus vocalist - and a killer one at that - but didn't enjoy the touring life, and while touring the east coast, met up with Wino as the tough shredder whose band was The Obsessed. Apparently there were amicable talks of him replacing Reagers, who wanted out, and Wino being a fan of Vitus, agreed to join up as the vocalist only, not wanting to step on Vitus guitarist/founder Dave Chandler's toes by coming in as a second guitarist. Over the subsequent few records beyond Born Too Late (Wino's debut with the band in 1986) Wino contributed some guitar work here and there, and all these yrs later on youtube, you can watch live footage of them from around that late 80s era where Dave & Wino are both playing. After Vitus Vol V (1990) Wino left Vitus to reform The Obsessed (Lunar Womb in '91, then signed to Columbia Records for The Church Within in '94) leaving Vitus to work with Count Raven vocalist Christian Linderson on 1992s Children of Doom prior to original vocalist Reagers returning for what Chandler considers the bands finest moment, Die Healing 1995.
