    He needed a year to get clean. His life and well being was more important than future nirvana earnings. Too much pressure was put on him and made him borderline psychotic.

      Have you seen the Nardwuar interview? He clearly isn't a good state of mind and wasn't up to touring, he didn't really seem to care about anything any more. Guy was having a mental breakdown and nobody noticed, or could reach him even if they did.

    • @DeepScreenAnalysis

      Oaf Lodge Yeah I have... he is totally disassociated. I think he had so much anger particularly at his parents and it all came spewing out once he had achieved the success he craved... because he found that very success did not make the pain of the divorce go away or how his family never really understood him. I think he realised that he’d always feel that sense of loneliness and abandonment despite his having wife and baby. The damage had been done.

    I don't know how you got his scream solo like that at the beginning, but god damn... how haunting. I've been following his story since I was a kid; I was a few weeks from my eleventh birthday when he died and it had a HUGE impact on me. They were the first band I really, really loved. Anyway, just wanted to tell you how great a job you've done, I've watched all of these videos multiple times. I can tell you have the same love for them (and him) that I always have, not to mention your wonderful choice in accompanying music (from Sebadoh to PJ Harvey, love it!!), so you've got tons of love and respect from me. I plan on checking out your other videos, you're a very thorough dude! I don't even know if you'll get around to reading this with all the (much deserved) accolades you're getting, but I just had to let you know that some guy in his thirties who's been fascinated with Nirvana since hearing 'Blew' absolutely loves what you've done. Again, great job :)

      Your welcome, that's a main reason I did this as I wanted to show off more about the band than the same boring footage we see repeated on MTV and such till we're blue in the face. It's been twenty years, there HAS to be more info than that. It all just seemed so lazy and such an easy way to get ratings. Do research in the right places and from the right people and you'll find out a world of things you've never heard.

      Last Days was a terrible movie. A fictitious portrayal of the alleged events in the "last days" of his life that just propagates the lies. It's unfortunate that ppl actually believe that's how it happened. While it's just my opinion on the matter, there are some ppl that I know agree with me on it, the movie just sucks. The constant mumbling sounded like boohooing & it was irritating. The music was the only thing that was ok. I'm sure the character does better in his other roles, but I really think they ought to stop calling it a fictitious portrayal & just call it straight up fiction, leave any thoughts or ideas of Kurt out of it bcuz it's nothing like him & doesn't help in any way. It's just a way to convince certain ppl that it's what had happened when the truth is far more complex as he'd been murdered! If it had been marketed as just a fictitious story with no mention of Kurt whatsoever, even as an "inspiration", I would have been neutral on it, but since I feel they were basically using him for the publicity, I have to say how I feel about it, otherwise I don't normally say anything at all, as in "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"! I think they crossed the line when they did it, so I have to speak against it. I'm not knocking ppl who like it, I'm just disgusted at what filmmakers do for publicity & profit & how they will do it in someone's name. It's shameful to say the least, but again, it's just what I think of it & everyone else can think whatever they want of it!

      Anyone who doesn’t use their own name is either an underage child, or just another pansy trying to be tough from the safety of their computers. Either way, the intellectual capacity is probably the same! I’m guessing you must be the former, so therefore I’ll cut you some slack & chalk it up to childhood wannabe trolls! Oh look, you’re getting some attention from someone! Doesn’t that make you feel better about yourself?!lol Go judge some more people so you can get more attention! On a side note, maybe try meeting people in real life, otherwise you won’t have any friends! Judge people after you’ve known them for a while. Honor is way more important in life than facefuckbook likes from “friends” you’ve never met. Try being honorable for once rather than being a nameless faceless douchebag troll (which, by the way, is a great play on Donald Chumps name! I give you credit for that!), but reality is way more complex than what you see on social media. What you see, & what you get are never the same! Or is that too deep for you?! Anyway, I have to go do volunteer mechanic services right now, so welcome to the club poser douche!lol
      (Did I do it right? Is this how to talk shit on comment sections? I’m not sure, because in school we used to fight, but now everything is just talking shit. Whatever happened to reality? Now I have to learn how to “troll” instead, but I don’t have time for that shit!)lol

    I would also want to hear those demos that pat and kurt (and i think eric erlandson) did after or around those days of the "intervention". That is exactly how I feel. But I also feel so nostalgic about the early 90's that it's painful. I can't stop remembering how special it was and how much I miss it all, especially with how insane and evil this whole world has become 30 years later. I just can't adjust to having to turn middle- age in this pathetic cesspool world. The youth nowadays seem to have such a bizarre, tasteless and juvenile culture that I simply cannot relate to on any level. They love listening to all these talentless mumble- rappers whose songs sound virtually indistinguishable from one-another. The youth nowadays are such huge conformists too. They are so socially engineered that most have never had a single, organic, original thought in their heads. Every single idea or concept they believe has been planted into their minds by subversive agents that they aren't even aware exist. There will never be another decade like the early-mid 1990's, there will never be another band like Nirvana.

    Wait a minute. Cali said he told Courtney Kurt had been to the house. And Kurt used the credit card to fly to Seattle but she somehow didn't know, reported the card stolen so he couldn't use it but didn't ask about the last time(s) it was used and instead went around LA to junkies' homes to look for him?
    Then Kurt was seen at the Jack in the Box around the corner from Kaitlin Moore's home ----- which was under police surveillance at the time but since Courtney reported Kurt missing, she wasn't told, and never asked to see the surveillance tapes?! But she ordered the PI she subcontracted - Barth - to remove surveillance on their home on April 7?
    And who told Charles Cross the lie that Love sent Eric Erlandson to look for Kurt in the afternoon of April 5, when from 4-5 pm Erlandson was talking to reporter Gillian Gaar about a cover story for Seattle bi-weekly paper, The Rocket??? According to Gaar, Erlandson said he'd try to get Love to do the interview. But Cross was told by "someone" that, instead, LOVE had scheduled to do a morning interview with The Rocket BUT HAD ERLANDSON CALL TO POSTPONE IT. That's just not true. And before Cross wrote his book he had an article out chronicling the alleged last days of Kurt Cobain. Then he only said Love sent him back on April 5. It was ONLY after Gaar was interviewed that the story got changed.
    There's much more incorrect info here, including statements about how "badly" Kurt was doing or how bad he looked - Joe Mama told Tom Grant that Cobain looked "so fucking great" and seemed totally straight and Joe, basically, asked him WTF he was doing there. Now, since Grant tape recorded EVERY convo he had with every person from the start, who's lying, the authors of books, Love, or Grant?

    I think his paranoia about Courtney cheating played the biggest role in his suicide. I've been there & it's horrible. She admits to "thinking about cheating" but that's bullshit. She cheated & he was using drugs (benzos) that made him extra depressed/paranoid. Then everyone was on his case about quitting heroin, which was his only comfort. The pressure to perform & be a breadwinner was also too much especially if he was going to be doing it clean & sober. He'd been on drugs nearly his whole career.
    He should've taken meds for his bipolar disorder & not gotten married to a drug addict nutcase or had a child. Take care of yourself, make music & art and only date sane people--not a reincarnation of your mother. Don't reproduce and pass those genes onto a child. Suicide & mental illness ran in his family. I think he felt guilty about bringing a baby into the world, honestly. He never wanted kids but he got with Courtney & ended up a father.

      @bigmuffexpress 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah for sure. He needed a friend more than ever by that point but he'd driven everyone away who really gave a shit. Even Courtney was sick of his drug use by that point, the infamous hair cut video gives a good insight into what she was dealing with in addition to being a new mother. Things just got way too complicated for him, way too quickly, and he crumbled. The same thing has happened over and over since the birth of the music industry.

      Now here, an even according to Goldberg who was there, it wasn't well planned
      People flew from LA only to get in Seattle for the intervention, nothing was prepared and they sure hit every button but the good one, only talking about $$$ instead of Kurt's well-being
      And even if they'd have done it with his friends, I doubt it would've worked cos' I don't think his close friends would»'ve attend such an intervention since they were too, on the same page as Kurt

    I know we all miss kurt and the songs he and the others wrote and played. I miss he was still with us 😢 😪 😔. But the best amazing artists have the darkest sadest.souls with pain in them and I still think he was killed in some kinda way idk how but somehow. I mean watch parts of the soaked in bleach movie or check out the American spy fox channel. Yeah he had demons he delt with but. He had a choice in life to do something different and walk about Lots of amazing musicians did it cash iggy. Etc alice Cooper them and lots of others fought there demons and won but sadly 😥 😔 the ones like kurt and others because part of the 27 club leaving this work far to young. I was 14 when he passed I remember seeing it on TV I was just getting into them about a year prior. I still love the music him krist Chad Dave and others and pat playing live all did. I just wish we could have gotten. More music like what rem did and how long we had them .😔 but I'm grateful for what music we do have that still is around all this years later for younger kids to hear for the 1st time and To be inspired by like kurt and other bands from that period of music were

      At least the world got to know Kurt for a little while. His words and music will always be here… long after I’m gone. My ex girlfriend had a 15 y/o son. He loves Nirvana and was starting to learn a lot of songs on guitar. He’s the coolest kid I’ve met and he doesn’t realize it. Even though I’m in my mid 30’s… teenagers like him give me hope that there will be another wave of great musicians and bands in the future.

    It would be awesome to get to hear all those jams that were recorded. But something else... Kurt never drank alcohol? lol thats new...

    • @bigmuffexpress
      @bigmuffexpress 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He said a lot about other heroin "users" who drank and then OD'd because of the central nervous system depressing effects of the alcohol, on top the heroin. Basically, your breathing stops or becomes too slow because you're too sedated. By March 94 he was a very, very heavy user of heroin so the idea that he rarely drank isn't so out there in my opinion. I'd imagine he had the odd tipple but he probably never got "drunk" for quite a while before he died.

    Courtney was just fame and money obsessed, a rly bad influence on Kurt. Even if she didn't kill him (....) she definitely contributed to his death by pressuring him to be successful etc instead of caring about his needs.
