None of this has been my experience with audiobooks on Spotify. My experience had been that you can listen to a certain amount of hours per month, and then they try to sell you more hours at a rate that you might as well have just gone and bought the audiobook from Apple Books, and then when the hours renew, and you try to resume your book that was too long to listen to in the first month of included hours starts over, so you never get to finish it. 0/10 service, would not recommend

Can you add a bookmark to an Audiobook (in the Apple app)?

Hi guys I am from Bangalore, India I have canceled the subscription last year , but still I'm deducted Rs.313.95 from my account every month. Not able to open the same account online as it's cancelled. Bank says it has to be done from my end...I'm clueless.

Oh this is interesting. I have cancelled my audible and have started listening to audio books on Libby for free and the selection isn't too bad.

My favorite part of Apple Books is actually just the brownish background along with their font choices. That combined with the ease of purchase made me choose them more than Amazon (until I got a Kindle)

I'm no different than any other avid reader. My son bought me a 1 year subscription as a present. The first thing i did was to try to download a short story from a popular author. NOPE! It was full retail. I did the same for all of the authors I like to read and got the same result!! They don't even offer you a discount on books you'd like to get. What a waste of money!!!!!!!!

How do I view a digital book from a giveaway??

Hi ! I’m looking for Concussion by Michael Collins, PhD. It’s available on Kindle and Hardback, but found nothing in WSV or Audible. Will the Kindle edition play audio via Bluetooth on a kindle Paper white Signature or is audio available only via Audible? I read medical stuff and this would be my first e reader. Thanks

Hi, there’s something I couldn’t understand: with Apple Books do you have to pay for both the e-book AND the audiobook to be able to listen to the book while you are reading? I’m dyslexic and I know there is an IOS setting that reads for you, but it has got a very “robotic” voice and the whispersync doesn’t work properly. Since I’d like to use it for studying, I’d prefer a human voice, do you have any suggestions? Thanks for sharing!

You take forever-to get-to the point!

BEWARE of SCRIBD!! Impossible to cancel a subscription - I contacted SCRIBD multiple times via both SCRIBD online chat bot and their email - still monthly payments being deducted - after 6 months finally had to contact my credit card and report fraud to have the 'continuous payment' blocked.

How do I track my audio books?

Why are these so fkn expensive?! Not only does it cost more than a Netflix subscription ffs, but you only get 1 book / month?! So you're paying $15 per book. It's literally more expensive than buying the physical book. For a digital product (that you're renting, not buying by the way. You don't have ownership).

Don't waste your time on Spotify when it come to books.

As a book nerd who buys and studies a book every week, I had to watch this Kelly. I agree, Book Clubs are great.
