Get 30% off my instructionals using the code 'BJJPLUS'! This video I breakdown the double sleeve fast triangle. I first saw this from Emad Omran who trains out of Prana Jiu Jitsu in Stockholm sweden. After adding it to my game my submissions in double sleeve went up a lot because its such an unpredictable submission. I include a short breakdown of the submission then provide a narrated breakdow...

just watched your guard passing principal video, it's awesome watching you implement your tips and see them work! thank you for the videos!
master at breaking dominate grips top......not allowing leverage through superier gripping is imp too
love this channel ...i am an old purple belt and i can say this channel have been priceless
so basically be like water
slick!
What is the difference between take the lapel and give the sleeve to the left hand instead ? And take the collar with the right hand ? Great video thank you
So basic but so overlooked and brilliant
Bro love this - thank you. Please do more smart stuff like this!
Very educated 👌🏻
This is excellent! Can you make a video about this concept when you are standing/passing? Thank you!
Just watch Pedro Sauer videos. This concept is in every lesson.
Hey Jon. In which town is your gym?
Purp not on his toes?!?!?!?!
North south master
Awesome
Makes sense to me.
I'm a 2-stripe white belt and i struggle with my sweeps and sometimes getting into set up positions so i tried to bait weight transfers but it wasn't as effective as i thought. but this is going to change the game for me. Thank you.
Avacado
People said that shi to me everyday “use their momentum against them” I never understood. Then I went into judo gym , was messing around and ig I found out what they really meant🤣🤣
Makes me super motivated to work on my passing!!
4:05 woah what a grip break
Yeah that one is pretty fun when they extend their frame really far
Great fundamental to remember, thanks Master!
Another master piece……🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
this is not a reality, buddy...he will frame on your biceps and his shoulder will crush your other hand...you will not be able to turn like that, did you test it live?
I literally used it in competition vs Marcio Andre when he was in a passing attempt, I use it all the time in the gym and so do students
Great stuff as always, Jon. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much!
Kuzushi...it's what takes uke's balance and makes throw, sweeps etc. easier. 1st thing you learn after ukemi. 👍🥋
Yeah it’s such a huge concept I guess I always thought it was just about balance but in this case I feel you can use it for all sorts of subs and transitions on top of off balancing for sweep
Dear god jiu jitsu in socks is somehow worse then shoes . I know your probably injured something, but wearing a metric ton of tape like a mummy is somehow 1000x times better .. cool technique btw
Haha it’s not the best for balance either, but sometimes the gym is freezing cold so I prefer staying warm when I travel lol
Great details regarding sparring/training with more flexible partners and how to pass to north south, Ossss
wow this video started looking very silly and ended up being informative, great details
Haha yeah the socks didn’t give the most professional look, happy you still watched though
Very simple principle, but very useful! Will try it tomorrow.
Hope it helps!
the man bun seems to be a requirment
Absolutely
They need to make Bjj shoes so people don’t have to roll in socks... I have to use an ankle sleeve because of eczema. I feel your pain, yellow socks man.
"The closed guard of open guards" let him cook
Lmao best comment
Nice to see a fellow sock grappler 🫡
😂
Haha I do this all the time teaching in Scandinavia. And the hoodie under the Gi
@@JonThomasBJJPlus do they keep their Gyms cold? I would love that, I overheat so hard here in Texas.
@@relativisticvelhere in Alabama it could be 20 outside and my coach still manages to have to gym at 78. Whyyyyyy can’t I have the gym at a comfortable 70
When they pull u push when they push u pull!! Dnt fight their energy u can learn this in aikido
Such a broad concept against all arts!
Another fantastic video thanks 🙏
Thank you so much!
Amazing explanation! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Yin yang. When you understand balance and energy, bjj gets easier.
Absolutely
Can someone drop a link for that bandana Gi ? i can’t tell what it is.
Which gi is this? When are you coming to Copenhagen? Oss
Vital Kimonos is the brand! Hopefully someone soon. I don’t live far away
so in short he said what?
In short he explained a great principle 😁
Super insightful and very well explained. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for the support
Great stuff as always! The Mirroring Principle by Win Deputter on BJJ Globetrotters goes into more detail about this concept. Link: th-cam.com/video/YSBCZfIT20s/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful, sadly not really conveyed, old concepts. Good to see.
Yeah some of the old stuff is the best too
Thanks for this
No problem happy to help!
👍
Stop saying "makes sense?", you will be a far better instructor without that silly phrase (not hating).
Yes please
I didn't notice until I read your comment. Focus on the information.
Seems like hating
Its just a call for attention. I just see a calm professor making sure their students are on the same page. Great concept by the way.
Why you watch these videos, to learn or to hate?
I've been doing BJJ for a few weeks now, and without hesitation I had my hands ready for the "clap" after the first instructional, and then I proceeded to clap in time with the instructor... What is wrong with me. 😅 Im in a completely different country btw, first video from this channel I've watched. #cooked
Osss
Kusushi in Judo. The same concept is applied in Newaza.
Mmm sushi
Think that's akido not judo😀
Yeah I think both judo and aikido do it a lot
@@JonThomasBJJPlus Lesson of the day there is kuzushi in bjj
