GT RACER’s Famous BIZZARRINI GT 5300 Racecar to be sold at Monterey Car Week 2024
One of my favorite cars of all times is THIS 1965 Bizzarrini GT Strada 5300 Recreation.
I encountered this car first when we shot our GT RACER television series on historic racing. Ultimately this car was feature in two episodes at the Nürburgring in Germany and at Portimão in Portugal.
The current owner (featured in this video) who campaigned this car extensively over the past 16 years, recently reach out to me, asking whether he could use some GT RACER footage, as the car is now being sold at the BROAD ARROW AUCTION at the MONTEREY JET CENTER this year (2024). All those details are here: tinyurl.com/6wnww29y
I was very happy to comply as both, the car and the owner, are really, really great!
So, we pulled all the scenes from the two GT RACER shows and strung them all together into one long edit. When I reviewed the (20+ minutes) edit prior to transferring online, I notice that watching this - even though the context of the storyline was gone - was still very enjoyable because you just can’t get enough of hearing and seeing this absolutely gorgeous car in action.
Hence I figured, I’ll upload it JUST LIKE THIS on our TH-cam channel.
If people want to see the entire TV-Episodes (which always featured three racing teams), those can be found currently on the TUBI streaming-network linked below:
Here is the Nürbergring: tinyurl.com/6peudddw (GT RACER, Season 2, Episode 2)
And here is Portimao: tinyurl.com/4z4mw2k4 (GT RACER, Season 2, Episode 6)

Cult-Video of the Million-Dollar Bizzarrini Strada 5300 GT
มุมมอง 2824 หลายเดือนก่อน
This 1968 Bizzarrini sold for just over a million dollars in 2015, which marked a North American record for a Bizzarini Strada 5300 GT at auction in the U.S.. This was in part thanks to our (this) film, produced for the auction house and subsequently it has become somewhat of a cult-video ever since. This Strada Alloy, chassis No. IA3 0323, was among the last of the 86 alloy-bodied examples bui...

Century Of The Car - Nicola Bulgari saving the American Automotive Heritage

About the Italian jewelry mogul that is saving the automotive heritage of America. He collects and restores (with a money-no-object attitude) the everyday cars that Americans drove to work in the first half of last century. Most of these cars are now “orphan-cars” and forgotten, many disappeared completely because collectors rather focus on the “important” and “high-profile” cars. Nicola Bulgar...
Ferrari Competition Daytona Prototype

One of our all time favorite films. The police in Bedford, NY shut us down during the shoot. Neighbors had called them as we disturbed them with the Daytona's full-on race-car noise, which they had described to the police as "somebody is doing burnouts," which of course we did not. However, the cops were so in love with the car that they kindly gave us an escort back to base so we would not be ...

Aston Martin V8 Vantage 6.3 Liter v. Virage 6.3 Liter
มุมมอง 18K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Now while everybody agrees today how cool those V8s have been, people don’t have such an unanimously high opinion of the Virage. As a matter of fact, the Virage is a bit of a black sheep in the Aston Martin history. The design broke with certain typical design clues and it seems many customers as well as enthusiasts were and still are upset about it. But I am not in that camp, not at all! While...

That engine is just a work of visual art in itself! If it never ran again, it would still be things of beauty...
Beautiful rendition of the e-type. As a designer I would rate : Front 9.5/10 Side 10/10 back 9/10
Tell me, is this an original ISO_A3C/Bizzarinni_5300 or is it a replica???
I appreciate that the owner has kept the car original instead of upgrading the car to "wide body" spec. Makes it even more rare and interesting.
That is a beautiful car. As an avid fan of Jaguar classics, I approve!
Dude sounds like Bruno
Spectacular automobiles, but damn is the Ford parts bin interior on the Virage unfortunate. Still, I’m not kicking either of these out of bed for eating crackers. 😄
I like the mechanical mods, but prefer the original series 3 bodywork. To each his own.
Beautiful 😍.......to make it perfect would be to chuck those bumper overiders for a cleaner look front and rear...jmo.....well done pal a beautifully done car!
Your work is outstanding!
Beat
Now you can learn how to stay on your side of the road on a solid double yellow, and not be complete assholes that are constantly almost hitting oncoming cars. Rich dicks, thinking they own every they see...
great❤❤❤
very nice , but even with all the engine mods it still will not go any faster than the series one e-types, it's just too heavy.
Superb!!! We need GT racer back !! or even better.... Group C Racer
I agree, anything produced by Alexander I will watch....
Incredible car and so very well done
Don’t like the white wall tires.

What year is your car? Did you rebuild the engine with higher compression? Thank you for the video! My 1974 has 60000 miles is it a candidate?
Hi, my company just does the video production. You should contact Nick, the builder and seller. He will be happy to talk to you. You'll reach him here: www.motorclassiccorp.com/used-vehicle-1974-jaguar-xke-v-12-roadster-honoring-the-perfection-and-sensation-of-the-series-i-xke-c-145/
A wealthy friend of mine had a 1968 XKE which he sold to buy a 427 SC Cobra. He always regretted selling his Jag. He recently had a XKE built for him with a Ford 302 racing engine that puts out 550hp. He still has his Cobra.
That is some story! 👍🙂

Thank you. yes, this one was in deed very special. Flawless.

Absolutely beautiful 😍 ❤❤❤
The circular mesh as a front grille looks weird.
It's a racing grill and light weight.
I like it.
All good except the heavy chrome headlight surrounds spoil it for me..
So much money, so little time. What a wonderful version of life.
Very nice
How incredible, this is by far the best looking E-type I have ever seen if I had enough money, I would buy it at the drop of a hat. Congratulations👏🇬🇧
what a Jaguar should be love the V12 its very smooooooooooooooooooooooth wheelair larry
Here is the car in all detail: www.motorclassiccorp.com/used-vehicle-1974-jaguar-xke-v-12-roadster-honoring-the-perfection-and-sensation-of-the-series-i-xke-c-145/
That’s so much better than the Chip Foose homologous offering! The work on the engine is top notch and now it is a fast, fun grand tourer. I thought my series 3 was cool but this is on another level. 😎
I agree, was never a fan of the Chip Foose interpretation.
Is the color, British racing green??
Yes. Follow the link in the description. Leads you right to all the details of the car.
Yes, at the link in the description you find all the specific technical details as to what was done to the car and a ton of detailed photographs including engine and chassis etc.
This is absolutely incredible. Great job guys!
Really special!
It needs series 1 rear tail lights also series 1 front turn signal lights in mind opinion.
Great work, congratulations on building your vision of a great car , all the best with her ❗️🇺🇸
I was going to build this exact car years ago.
In your own head Jeff ha ha!
Very nice Build! However; I'd swap the taillights for the much niftier S1:s...
❤
This E Type is very special indeed!
MEOW WOW!
V12 engine was a Documented Disaster engine. Smooooth running though... it being a V12. Stock ...the thing Made a whopping 253 completely unreliable hp. Flat rate on a sparkplug change was 8 Hours. A Very popular Mod when these were Current, was to fit a V8.. often a 383 . V inexpensive from a wreckers' yard. Far more power /torque and it was actually a lighter engine unit, genuinely improving handling as unexpected bonus.
Bollocks :-) The last thing I would want in my V12 Jag is some tired "wreckers' yard" American pushrod V8. Fact is that Jaguar won three Le Mans titles based on that engine. Which is fundamentally a very robust and reliable engine if you keep on top of the maintenance.
@@NewtonInDaHouseYo Americans consider a servicing schedule to be optional, then blame the car when it fails BECAUSE they refused to look after it.
@barenekid9695: Yawn...
I had 2 one jag demonstrator vkv881j yes crap
the best looking car ever built the E type in england in the USA its the XKE
👍😊
