As an addendum, looking around theres conflicting info but it looks as though even pulling a boss in 10man will get you saved. So be careful, some people farming trash have accidently pulled bosses and gotten saved.

@@BrettStefani iirc this is just for Kar the Everburning, the mini boss atop the ramp leading up to Lord Ryolith. Supposedly he gets you saved to the ID as soon as you enter combat with him.

Yeah this is where the reports have come from. But its a risk regardless if you don't want to be saved for an entire week when you need to get the focus from Rhyolith

Purely anecdotal but my group just did it tonight prior to our 25m tomorrow and had no issues whatsoever. Of course do at your own risk.

This is how the Blue Post reads, talking about it. You can always give it a try and see if it works, but only the person who is on the quest with the staff will be the one who completes it. As I understand, the event needs to be completed per staff holder.

Was this for 10 man or 25 man? The drop rate is variable so you will have some groups get more and some less but from a 25m heroic clear, Ragnaros dropped 6 embers. For 10m the drop rate is considerably lower than 25m so I would expect that rate for a 10m group, even on heroic.

It seems the droprate might not be variable? Me and my guild cleared it 6/7 on our mains and 4/7 on alts this first week, and the first 4 bosses (Beth, Ryo, Shannox and Alys) all gave an Ember each, then Baleroc and Majordomo gave 2. These results were exactly the same on our 2nd run, we skipped Alys so couldn't confirm if she only drops 1 Ember. But it seems the last 3 bosses drop 2 Embers each on 10m normal, and the other 4 drop 1 Ember each.

@Veraminos we just got 3 from Domo HC and 4 from Rag normal too, which means we got 15 from a 6/7 + Normal Rag week. So even my numbers were off if Domo and Rag are increased rates

If your idea is to try and get the buff for both people because you're trying to min max, then waiting 2 seconds will probably be less efficient than just grabbing it and moving on.

is it 1 ring per person. Or can we stack on it?

@@GandleTheGreat Its not based on the number of flyers, the ring number seems to be a set amount. But it does look like multiple people flying through it together gives them both a stack.

Well, glyph of elemental mastery gives you 20% damage reduction, so is kinda defensive based on when you use it

@@instinicry72 doesn’t that just reduce its cool down? I don’t think there is any damage reduction?

Glyph of Elemental Mastery gives us 20% dmg reduction while EM is active. Also ele has the talent from resto tree to reduce dmg taken by 10% while casting so just be casting all the time. And also from the resto tree talent u'll recieve 15% extra healing so should be no probs as ele.

Its anything that can do the damage in a single hit. Arcane Blast and Aimed Shot are high damage ST hits. Arcane mage is a recommendation, not a requirement.
