This is really high quality DG content. Do more courses in Charlotte and make a how to play each course series. I usually go to these types of videos to review the course before playing a tourney.

Get yourselfs a Berg× as a complement to the Berg K1 soft. Berg× goes a bit further without messing up the line with to much fade. Berg× is 1-1-1-2 instead of 1-1-0-2 on the Berg K1 soft. Both of them discs will probably never leave my bag because no one will ever make such discs again so i have 5 of each now. 😂😂

Hey, much respect, that's a solid time! I saw another disc golf influencer do this challenge the other day so I decided to try it out. For a warm up my first nine I did it in 4 minutes and 55 seconds, was hard to keep track of score while exhausted from running but I think it was -7. I then took a small break and went back to do the full nine twice to equal a total of 18 holes. Completed in 9:04 1700ft (9 hole) course. Did this in crocks and while the sun just went below the horizon. Gonna go back soon to get video proof and to not have to worry about timing myself 😂

Glad you enjoyed the DG course! My buddy and I designed and built that course in 2016 when we were stationed there with the Coast Guard. The closest course to us was like 40+ minutes away so we finally got the town's parks and recs department to give us the go ahead. Always cool to see people enjoy what we helped to create!

Prodigy disc's are highly overlooked and I honestly don't understand why. I mean it's my opinion obviously but they have one of the top putters, three great Approach disc's, three great mid ranges with one of the best in the M4. Awesome fairway and hybrid drivers and the D2 and D3 Max being one of the furthest distance drivers out there.

3 years my elevation discs have been in my bag and I love them all!! And I throw forehand only lol

The way to understand the 2 fade is that it is straight down. Then it makes sense.

The Creator says the point is that they don't have much or any ground play. They stick pretty much where they land.

I use a 200 plastic A3 for approach shots. Most people overlook base plastic, but 200 is great for approaches. It has a lot of grip, and tends to stick and curl up under the basket. It won’t give you much help if you need that skip, but the beauty is you can be a little bit more aggressive with your shots. I also keep a 4x Z zone in the bag if I want a skip shot.

I like disc because I happen to meet a guy that was nice of him to teach me & my side kid how to throw a disc golf & was tell me & her there there was that back hand throw & fore hand throw and was nice of give me & her a disc golf

I like disc golf because the way you can be care free & just have fun with walking around with friends & seeing the environment around you

Champ Gator 3 for my bag. The Roc 3 is more "stable". I also needed that over stable slot in my bag, but the gator or Caiman are also good candidates for your liking....

I started 5 months ago using the retro, and am use to it and control it as well as I need at this point of my game. I can see it still being my putter going. I love what I can do with it. Shame it stunk for you.

Elevation Discs show you when you have trash form. They're a mirror bro. That's your problem with them. If the sport were off-axis torque, you could go pro!

Great video. There are far too few ma3 and ma4 events available on youtube. I wish to enter my first tournament sometime next season and I'll be entering as ma4. So it's really nice to see what a tournament actually looks like to a newer player. I thought you played awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I got one last week in the K3 plastic. It is dead straight, it is a brick, it is nearly worthless as a putter. The trash can lid comment is a good comparison. I find that within 100' or so it's a great approach disc. At the end of the day, it's not a bad disc at all but you have to find your own way to use it. If you want it at all, then practice and find your own times and ways to use it. I bagged it already.

I putt zero medium and throw opto. The opto is honestly as advertised, and one of my favorite plastics. I'm thinking about getting some zero hard pures for putting - feels like the zero medium has beat in like crazy. I might be expecting too much though.

I putt with the Pure and throw Maidens and have them in nearly every plastic. I use them all for field work and have tried this same experiment and found that, much to my surprise, the Zero/BT Medium was the best for throwing accuracy and distance. I don't like the feel in my hand for throwing, but in both molds it consistently is the best plastic for throwing. I find Retro the best for putting.

There’s also super soft and eco zero

They're a bunch of sweethearts at Latitude 64. Interesting, I like the comparison, it's a good reference. The Pure I just got was the Gold plastic. The feel wasn't quite what I expected, I thought there would be a touch of gumminess (I'm not sure why). I'm going to keep practicing with it. If I grab another I think I'd go with Opto.

Love my k1 soft. Anything inside 150 has my become my go to disc. It will hold the line and fall straight down. It's the perfect approach disc.

I had been using a GF Zone but found it insufficiently stable and now use an A3 for more stability and dependability. Very solid performer.

Excellent. I have a Pure arriving tomorrow, very excited. I throw a Deputy with a 1.5cm rim depth, which is the same as the proxy. I have a Watt which also is 1.5cm. I'm getting used to it, but I'm not a fan of throwing. My Envy is 1.4cm like the Pure and I like the Envy, so I hope the Pure will be my straight throwing putter. Glad to see you picked Pure, I feel better about my purchase. Smash.

My throwing putter is a star aviar putt and approach. It does everything I need it to. Plus, I picked it because the aviar has never had great glide for me. It rarely sails past the basket, and usually lands soft under the basket. I like that it kinda dies and lands soft. It gives me great accuracy and I’ve made some long putts with it too.

Throwing putters are a blast. Should check out the Tomb and Breaker (if you like shallow and beaded)

I had terrible upshots when i started. I found a Judge Fluid works as a great upshot putter for me. 250ft no problem

Back on the grind

For my backhand this disc is super reliable on a flat/anhyzer release. Always finishes but gives me great distance. For more powerful throwers I can see this being a great midrange for controlled straight flights. And on FH it is more torque resistant than other stable mid ranges in my experience. The roc3 or buzzz will flip up easier.
