Hi Lisa, Good luck with the new wood processor, it will make life easier. All the best, Ken
I hope so ken. It is handy to take down the woods to do the processing on site as it were.
Would a Defender power steering reservoir replace your damaged one on the chopper, you would have to block off one of the outlets. 🙂👍
Ooo it might do. I will tell Roberty and see what he has got. Thanks for the recommendation 😀
Me too won't drive anything else now.
You a disco man?
M62 Manchester to Leeds
Yes that is correct 😀
Where you are ???.... Somewhere on planet earth on a motorway.... I think !?!?🤔, I like the story about how the 3075 came into the farm 😊, I've got a Defender 90 and I love it !!! 🙂
We have a bit of footage of the 3075 cab swap we hope to put together in the near future.
Nice bit of kit Lisa
We will have to be more specific about the answers next time 🤣
👍
M62
Yes that was it 😀
No chippies around here. Good or otherwise.
I was gutted We found a good one in Brigg though.
I have never seen a Johnson potato digger on 3 point linkage before has that been added on ?
Yes we fitted the headstock frame to take the top link to make it easier to get across the fields and stream to the island field.
@Lisa_Turner ah
Another job well done see for miles now 👏
Yeh can never have too much light output as an operator. 😀
Very smart with what you've done on that tractor! Are you still on major drum brakes or have you converted it over to discs
Still on drum brakes. Looked at converting to ford ranger discs and callipers but never bothered as getting it to look tidy for tbe master cylinders was proving a big challenge and going to be in the way of other things. Going to have trailer brakes so tbe drum brakes work reasonably well for me at tbe moment.
Brilliant sound they at there best pulling hard 🏴🚜
They sound mega i reckon
Brilliant and major looking and sound well we got a power major at home 🏴🚜
They do sound the business but mine is a bit loud 😂
Nice one Lisa those LED lights make a hell of a difference
They certainly do Mick. And the best part is if i was to fit additional work lights jist the rocker switch is a good chunk towards the lights i bought. Really please with the result.
Great job Lisa well done you .
Thank ypu Gerard. I am really please with the result
Was the 3pt aftermarket factory or did you build it
Hi Jaden. The linkage is standard expept for cat 2 hook ends. The top link has a bracket fabricated by me. The pick up hitch is a standard two wheel drive ford unit with all the brackets designed and fabricated by me.
@@Lisa_Turner I should have been more clear I was talking about the front my apology
Yes useful

Nice video lisa you can do it
We will try 😀
Wants thick rubber on bottom 👍
I think that is a great idea
👍
Thank you
Lovely video,Be better off with wheel pusher.
Yes i think they are the way forward. It was worth a try though 😀
That's a zetor front linkage standard cat 2 width
781 mm centre to centre width. I thought it was a heva or flezicoil myself.
Keep the videos coming please Lisa really enjoy them 👌
Will do Mick
Ik like youre channel. U got a lot of rubbisch. Butt youre can rebuild everything. Greating from holland.
Thank you it is not rubbish though. It is all treasures 😀
Apart from your spelling of plough @@Lisa_Turner
🤣🤣
He is a star in my eyes
The snow plough is a no from me for pushing up longer length silage. Might have to make a wheel type pusher yet.
We best find some more treasures in the brambles then 😀
Lovely channel lisa xx
Thank you Abbie 😀
Just started watching your videos 😊
Welcome to the channel. Hope you enjoy it. 😀
hi lisa . was the mounted hoe to used in between spuds or veg rows ? , i must of miss read what you was going to use on. cant go to deep with it or there will be breakedages ,not first pass anyway , the land wheels will better at front of the frame behind the tractor wheels, if they are put on the back they will be running on the lifted dirt ride unenvenly , unless the tines were turned the other way round on the frame , and put on front on little fordson , dont no wheather it fit on 3 point on front ? you can see what doing out front . i can see it has four rows of tines , you can use three rows with sweeper points as will be more space for the rubbish to pass through . there spare tines then if any get broken.
Hi Scoatie. The kongskilde will be to go down thw rows for potatoes and swedes/fodderbeat thst we grow as animal feed. The wheels are a very good point. We was only mounting them at the back as it was the original insrallation point but as you say when the soil is lifted one side and not the other this will have an effect on the depth. We will have to look at mounting them towards the front like you suggest. I do not know if the link pins are the correct spacing to go on the front but i think they will be as we made adaptor brackets for them to be cat 2 and accept the hook ends. Yes visability out the front will be good for the rows but we are then compacting the soil with the tractor. I am not sure what you mean when you say About running 3 rows and sweep tines?
hello lisa if your useing the hoe for bulking as well weeding use all sweep points [arrow heads] start with single one tine at the front then work back arrow shape , you may need a couple of land wheels for depth depending on what ground your on😊
Hi Scoatie. Do you mean set up up like a flat lift or similar? We will be using depth wheels at the back where the ducks feet are. I think your sweep points are the same as ducks feet but not sure. My thought was if i have tines at the front i can use them to dig more or less depending on conditions but i have never had to inter row weed before to know what works and what does not. I take it with the arrangement that you mention the headstock will have to be fixed and not pivot like the Kongskilde one does at the moment?
The problem with the major is that the pto is too high geared. I think 540 comes at 1300 engine revs which is far too slow.
Yes it is a bit of a pain. I am looking for a raised pto unit if you know of any?
No sorry. If it was mine I would sell it to a Ford enthusiast and for about the same money buy something like an IH 574 that has a lot more power and better pto system, plus synchro gears, power steering, auto pick up hitch in the same size of tractor. Probably not you want to hear though. But I wouldn’t start modifying it, unless you can gear the pto speed down easily.
@@andyfarms9653 i hear what you are saying. When all the modifications were made it was never going to be used as a working tractor. Just a road run and show tractor that could be used to tow a trailer or operate the forklift at home. Yes i completely agree if i was going to get a tractor for working a ford 4000 four or 5610 etc... will be a far better machine for working as will other brands around the 60hp size that have better hydraulics and ipto clutch. While it is on the farm it is able to do a few jobs and play at others to see how much it can do safely. 2wd is a big drawback as it not having ipto clutch. But many people still use them sucessfuly and tbh the mf 3075 is prefered for most of the smaller jobs.
Fair enough Lisa. The odd load with the rota spreader is okay, but as you say, you have the 3075 for the heavier work. Handy to have a spare tractor around for those odd jobs.
Great work yous will have plenty of heat with all the logs chopped
I hope they dry out enough for us to use in time 😀
Great work Lisa love the log cutting process 👍
Hi Phillip. Yes it is a cracking little set up to really get through the timber with one loading and one splitting
Great job as usual 👍
Thanks Phillip. Have to wait till later this year now to try the inter row weeder, hooing for a good result with it now.
@Lisa_Turner look forward to seeing it
How do you get all the good jobs lisa your like a little work horse😮
Womans parogative James. If i get on with them then i know they sre done 🤣
Hedge is looking good 👍
Cannae beat a tidy bush
Hi Lisa, I have used this single potato lifter for quite a number of years now. Just a few tips for the lifter. first keep the chain fairly tight, as the drive cog/gear is likely to work its self loose from the keyed drive shaft. Second, I would recommend replacing the lift box section with a chain or wire rope, so you can get the required depth. Becuase it is butting against the top link. Hope this is some help.
Hi Scoatie. We will keep an eye on the chain tension like you say. Don't want to make more porblems through lack of maintenance. The box from the A frame for the 3poi t linkage has a pivot mechenism which gives a good range of movement to allow for peaks and troughs. I did siggest a strap but there was concerns that it might get caught in the machine and do damage. I will see when ee can do a bit of a video on it.
Can you please show working on the riding mowers.. I have seen them covered in one of your vidoes..
Riding mowers? Not sure what you arw looking for and what machine?
@Lisa_Turner I saw one small tractor(probably a mower I think) in a video about moving tires from about four years ago
2900 kg
That is a very good guess. I will be posting the results in a few weeks to give some more people a chance.
What happened to the potatoes 😢
We only did the first four rows. The rest is swedes mainly. Most of the spuds were lifted with a fork due the weather.
You the dog &Robert looked like you were having fun picking sweeds
A major has a 740pto it's early type design was never changed it's to fast and over geard it was a great tractor with that fatal flaw and now live independen hydraulic you could get a raised pto for the tractor after market
I am looking for a raised pto if you see any about. Yeh 540 pto is at 1200 rpm. Not ideal but is right where the torque is
Major to under powered to pull that on trailer and May be over lift 🤔
Would only ever try and move it around the yard in low box. Don't thinknit will have the power or grip to get up the hills.
Nope pick of ground ,no other way 👍
Was hoping for an idea of how to collect them 😍 but i was wondering what would happen if you went down the row a second time. Would thst clean them enough to drop in a box on a sledge?
Bit more rpm on Pto will help ,did you plant spuds ? 🤔🤔
I thought that but roberty wanted less rpm. We did plant four rows of spuds but most were lifted with a fork due to the wet weather. The rest is mainly swedes
Well done Lisa another job well done
Thank you John. Roberty helps too in his own special way 🤣
Enjoyed vid 👍
Thanks Nick 😀
Enjoyable video happy new year to you both have a good one
Thanks Davey happy new year to you too 😀
well done for getting the old harvester work great to see keep up the great videos from gc in n i
