Brilliant 👌🏻 Good One! Just listened to this podcast while driving downtown to Hamburg to my TCM practitioner. Always good to get some refreshing on the inside works of our brain. Thank you . Btw you look very happy. Stay that way 🙏🏻 And many merits to you for sharing this really valuable information 🙏🏻

Will drop it STAT!
Your smiling face is a second sun.. Thanks for this information
Thanks Nicole for such an informative video! 😁 Greetings from Vienna🇦🇹☺️
How do I be honest with myself?
Dude im not even able to watch this whole video.
So helpful!!!❤
I am so infatuated with this girl and that dimple on her chin
i wish this video is an hour and not just five minutes, thank u for this content!
I’ll make another one that’s longer because this one is in HIGH demand!
Focus on her beauty yes.. Focus on the usefulness of the video of course not.. That smile is truly enchanting
Great videos!
That smile is enough to make me forget everything negative 😅
How charming is her smile? Is she from another planet?🫠
Hi Nicole, first of all thanks for the great content here on TH-cam. 🙂 I wanted to ask if there is a correlation between addiction and ocd? Is it possible that an addiction sort of activates ocd? Or in addiction recovery the guilt and shame that arise are a perfect target for ocd? I also would love to see a video on addiction and how it impacts the prefrontal cortex and decision making. Thank you 😊
Normal people: sob over a breakup, get angry, scream, sleep away, overeat, talk to their friends about it etc Me: Ahh, too easy. Watching a science video to UNDERSTAND how it actually works, the essence of it, to make informed decisions about my post-breakup strategy Thank you for the video!
You're SO welcome!!
This doctor, every time I watch her video, I forget the content and get lost in her beauty and smile. She is make me dizzy 🤯
What did you say at around 6:10 - _ rhythms? If you use scientific terms, please could you add some text to confirm the spelling so we can do further research on our own? Thanks so much!
@@fomdernandes ultradian rhythms! Yes my bad. I usually do but slipped up on that one.
such a helpful tips. thank you for the video nicole!
Hello, thank you for helping. I know all this, but still, I am unable to resist. How can I get iron will and resistance? And how to resist porn and masturbation? We all know the basics, to leave the phone in another room, change one's environment, and be in an open space with others but what if after all this when one goes to sleep they are alone at night. Or one cannot resist all this. Is it too far gone?
so happy to have discovered your channel!
@@ryarya3291 so happy that you’re here!!
Amazing content 👌
Currently being assessed for adhd. Always struggled with my phone, now I hav a third party app blocker on it which has helped tremendously
I was hoping that you would start with youtube and then read on your IG account that you already had a YT channel - yay! Love the weekly Q&A concept as well. I'd love to see discussions between you and others as well (not interview format, more informal discussions) for example BJ Fogg about habits and how to create sustainable habits. Looking forward to follow you here (atm I'm listening to your book after reading it!)🤗
14:09 I have ADHD and i am definitely a phone addict 🙈 I'm so excited for the video 🧡
Great reminder 😊 so thankful for your channel 🧡
What a stupid thing to say. Why would someone want to be homeless or disabled?
I would love to know more about on how/if hobbies -being creative, can help switch us out of survival(amygdala) mode and more into a balanced state/nervous system? ps. looking forward to more videos from you!
thank you for the video! Just a side note: The audio is only on the left (for me)
I love the idea of mental currency because my job takes a lot of my mental resources and with this I now understand that checking my social media accounts is actually not a good mental break. There is something that feels good in knowing the ‘why’ of doing something and having the tools to break the habit. Attention plus repetition. I found this really helpful when I saw my ex crush glancing at me and my usual response is ask myself he doesn’t like but why is he looking at me? And then I would start ruminating on and on about that for the rest of the day but i did the physiological sigh and responded to it differently. I realized that I am asking why questions to avoid grieving the potential relationship I coulve had with that person. So instead of thinking of ways and strategizing to get the answer (which what I usually do whenever I caught him staring at me) I started to feel whatever is coming up. Sadness, loneliness, pain etc. in short, I grieve. Then I reread your book on chapter about grieving and that brings me comfort. ❤ that is also the reason why I cannot stop talking about your book on my social media and friends. Because it worked for me. I consider that as a big win. 🏆 I know change is not linear but that ignites something to keep me continuing on breaking that habit. I keep replaying that moment on my head even on my way home until now because it feels good. I did it!
Such a powerful perspective shift 🧡🧠
Great video Nicole

I loved this, I have a question. When you having block regarding your dreams when you think about what is your dream life I get anxiety and shut down mentally and emotionally. How to overcome these blocks to understand why my brain and emotions are doing this?
@@aliciabodington3272 it’s a form of self sabotage. Your brain can’t close the gap between dreams and reality. I spoke about this a lot in my book! But one thing you can do is visualise yourself in the future, what it would feel like, how you can get there. 🧡🧡 I hope this helps. Visualisation is one of the best tools for this
