    Are the ethical shortcomings like the impact of insurance companies and drug prices on patient Healthcare considered? Like 1/5th of all people bankrupt in the US are in the position because of medical reasons. What is the contribution to the problem of doctors in this equation?

    • @katiedeppisch
      @katiedeppisch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately that really falls on the health insurance companies and the hospital administrator who drastically over charge any and all medical expenses. A simple bag of saline solution costs a few dollars (if that) to produce. In some counties that same bag of saline is at most $10, however here in the good ol US of A, that SAME bag of saline will cost your insurance company hundreds of dollars. Doctor's who have their own practice don't get to set their prices, they have to have contracts with insurance companies in order to be paid for service and the company tells the doctor how much they are willing to pay them for the treatment, procedure, or visit. It's a messed up system and no one seems to have a solution to fix it's problems. Maybe they just don't want to fix it. All that damn lobbying allowed from drug companies to buy the vote of a politician.... It goes deep

    I am Terry from New York Herpes can be treated and cured permanently but only few believe it. I was diagnosed of HSV 4 years ago, my doctor told me there is no permanent cure for the disease, i was given antiviral medication to reduce the outbreak of the virus, at the initial stage it was not so bad till it progressed to the end middle stage were i had difficulties going about my daily functions I was totally devastated till I saw a comment about dr osa's, who have used herbal medicines to cure virus like HERPES, HPV, ALS, when I contacted dr osa's via email, after a few discussion, he prepared the medicine and sent it to me through DHL, when I received the herbal medicine, I took it according to his instructions, few weeks later I went to the hospital to have a blood test and the test came back negative, i was cured and free from the deadly Virus... That is why I am sharing my testimony so that people can also contact him for help, via his Email:osad2383@gmail.com WhatsApp/Call +2349154653305

    The fact nearly every doctor want to practice in the USA busts the "I want to be a doctor to help" nonsense. Doctors are after $$$$.

    • @sidramir3211
      @sidramir3211 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      True & False True because can you blame them? Medschool isn't cheap- most have taken student loans that they NEED to pay off False because- the US in addition to offering dollars, offers amazing training as part of its residency to junior doctors- the like of which you can't hope to get in the UK. Also its a much faster process to become a specialist than in the UK.

    • @Kencan254
      @Kencan254 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sidramir3211 Student loans? In most 3rd world countries, medical ed is free or highly subsidized. South Africa where medical education is next to free is losing doctors to Canada. What loans are fleeing to Canada to pay? Greed is the answer.

    • @sidramir3211
      @sidramir3211 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kencan254 this is a video catering to doctors from the UK going to the US. The UK isn't a third world country and it is common for people to take student loans in such countries. Also in the 3rd world there might be other factors at play- lack of security etc. Finally people might just want to go to the US or Canada to give their family's a better shot at life- that's not greed. That's wanting the best for your family.

    • @lucietukalova
      @lucietukalova 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because of the state of medical care and how it's handled in the US, I wouldn't really say they're doing it better, but something to consider is the fact that their hospitals are rarely underfunded. You can do the best you can as a doctor in some countries and still be frustrated with not being able to provide the care that you know is possible, but without the means - materials, drugs, machines, even people in some extremes cases of understaffing to cut costs - it takes a toll on you. Most people stay and do what they can, but I would honestly say that the few that leave maybe just want to be able to do better, not only in terms of pay, but possibilities also.
