The fantastic tiny spectrum analyser can produce increments of 0.1 db instead of the normal 0.5 db resolution. This was necessary for precise measurement of the gain of an antenna. Hope this helps and is another great feature of these spectrum analyzers.

Nice and green there Max.
Looks like a great ride out there, great day for it. It’s a nice area. 73 de ZL1TN
Well this wasn’t helpful at all
hello. What the method of 10ghz signal generation you use?
Great shots Harry, looks like you were Johnny on the spot.
whats the conclusion
The apparent resolution of 0.1 dB is due to the fact that the value shown is the result of the average AVER4. Note that both the SI4468 on the ultra and the SI4432 on the tinySA have a resolution of 0.5 dB in their measurements.
So anyone figured out what part is causing the issue? I’m experiencing the high idle (1500rpm) randomly now after it hit 8000 miles. Thanks
Has anybody the electronic schematic of this oscilloscope? please share.
Just put on averaging, 4 or 16 or inf., anf you will have 0.1dBm tolerances at even wide spans..
Thanks for the insights. Automatic frequency correction could be a possible firmware upgrade 🙂 Entering the known frequency and connecting it to the input. I have a cheap GPSDO and OCXO modules laying around I need to look into. Those are 10MHz. You use a harmonic? 1GHz is 100x 10MHz. That is an even number, and a square wave would have odd number harmonics. Would that be a intermodulation mix harmonic then? And does it matter if you have done the frequency correction on that 10MHz signal instead? Cheers!
Ultra mode is disabled by default but can be enabled using the command CONFIG/MORE/ENABLE ULTRA using 4321 as the unlock code

Hey, if i remove the tyre and do the same you did and install the new tyre the same way with the ties it will work?
Glad I saw this. Somehow it reminds me of a rivet. Rubber rivets! Hmmm
these things work and they hold, with quite literally hundreds of miles on the tire post plug (real life experience). It prob wasn't the smartest idea, but it looks safe from how it's constructed. i would still definitely use rubber cement and not rely on tire pressure alone to keep it in place
I wish I could actually see what he is doing below the screen.
We never saw him air it up and spray the hole (or spit test, if water isn't handy) to test the seal, so we don't really know if it works.
Please don’t plug a motorcycle tire unless it is to just get you home and if you do use the old style plug kit you will get on the road much faster.
It takes a lot less work and a lot less time to use a regular tire plug. Ream the hole, add lubricant to the plug, insert and pull out. Done!! And a heck of a lot cheaper !
That seems great for emergency use. I don't think I'd trust it for long term use though. Especially on Z rated tires. I like it though!
not gonna lie, i've ridden on one for quite a while. It was a 98 cbr 600 which was pretty much a stunt bike, and i bought it that way. didn't even realize the plug was there for a while, and even when i saw it, i didn't even know what it was until watching this video. i figured it was a plug, but was confused because i'd never seen a tire plug aside from the ones you use on car tires. but considering i spent 500 on the bike and didn't have it for very long, I decided to not replace tire. the bike went on for years with that same tire (passed around between friends) until the fateful day a squid crashed it into a curb. front tire was blown and forks bent, but the back tire still had that plug and held air
Unlock code for ultra is, 4321
Its just a money grab

Why don't you use the included antenna ? Is the 10 gHz transmitter so powerful that there is a risk of damaging the TinySA Ultra if you connect the antenna ?
The quarter wavelength on 10 ghz is 7 mm. the traces on the pcb are long enough to pick the signal up. Microwaves are using very different antenna's.
@@maxsmart5466 The antenna on this video th-cam.com/video/7ryAi5b4z_c/w-d-xo.html , I suppose
I m sorry what does it show?
In a nutshell; the air filter and snorkel restriction on intake airflow in mm w.c.
How did you add the delay to the horn?
I thought the tyny only reached 5.4 Gigahertz in unlocked mode, how did you manage to measure 10 GHz?
After entering the unlock code and entering expert mode you can just specify the highest frequency up to 12 ghz and with the later software even higher ( like an easter egg ), see the groups.io/g/tinysa/messages for more details.
Just saw my VC Valiant..Awesome place!!!!

Wow! Tjats a great video! I like the sound of birds and trafic in the background!
It can be set up to actually show you the impedance of an unknown piece of coaxial cable. I use it to sort my 10 ohm, 12 ohm and 17 ohm cables. I even found that some cable I removed in an industrial setting was 93 ohm. A great instrument. I have several, just yesterday I received the liteVNA64 and it rocks.
Thanks John, yes, there are several ways to confirm/discover impedance. Was just so impressed with the horizontal line representing the transmission line and what happens along it, to my surprise the cursor also indicates the impedance in green anywhere along the trans line. Have had experience with tek high end tdr ( unaffordable ) but this is fine for the work i am doing with it, cool for finding moisture in connectors up a pole, totally takes all the guesswork out of it. Glad you liked it, Thanks
That is a 10.525ghz traffic radar Gunn oscillator
Why would you have 10ghz emitters? What are those good for?
Wonder if throttle position sensor (TPS) left unplugged would trick the rev/speed limiter to get all the power available.
i fuckin hate silent movies!!!!!!!!
That's pretty cool, I will try the same thing with one of my Gunns, thanks.
TinySA Ultra on 3cm has 30dB lower sensitivity but... it works! Awesome. See my clip trough GHz's th-cam.com/video/lBfrPPQkpLQ/w-d-xo.html
Great job Max, simple straight to the point. How about a video explaining how to put the Ultra up to 10GHz? I have a bunch of these 10.535 horns I'd like to test. Mike Couture
Done; th-cam.com/video/z3sMjJIjmnU/w-d-xo.html All my camera's have trouble with the contrast of these screens, they are blurred. However the tiny's are very sharp in detail ( like the screenshots ) Cheers Max.
Where did you bought this microwave sensor(transmitter)?
🤣Emirates Team Nz💪
How do you get up to 10Ghz? The specification says it can go up to 6Ghz? Very cool!
These ULTRA's have been out for 1 month and are still under upgrade/development. To go beyond 800 mHz you need to activate the "ultra" mode in the expert menu after reading up about the limitations of this extended mode so you understand what you are doing. Currently the highest available frequency is 12 gHz by selecting it in the frequency menu but there are plans to extend this limit to 18 gHz in a later update. There is a lot of development on the go in the; groups.io/g/tinysa/messages And the best guys are involved in this development which explains the high quality of operation and usability of this fantastic unit, hope this helps and do not buy clones, just follow the instructions on the group/wiki pages to purchase. Not involved with this product, just want to warn against a bad chinese experience.
