Unreal engine 5.5 based on Game Animation Sample Project

-fix rotation of weapons to always be in the direction of the crosshair.✅
-add a smoother rotation when in AIM✅
-reduced rotation speed with the sniper and binoculars (it's much more pleasant)✅
-fix grenade inventory by @wrathofal (If you collect several grenades, they disappear after using only 1)

-Retarget All animation from Lyra (the ik were not in their good location)

It is GAS, ie Game Ability System. And This video is Motion matching,
no GAS in this project for now but it should happen as soon as I can... indeed it is motion matching because it is based on GASP from epicgame

I spent the last couple hours going through your videos on this project. It looks very good and has all the fearures i been looking to add to my gasp project. Gonna subscribe to your patreon. A couple questions though. Is it replicated, like the 5.5 gasp project? And is there gamepad support, mainly for menus and widgets? its easy enough to add to controls, so thats not a big deal, i have issues trying to add it to menus and such.
This project is not replicated, controller is supported but not in main menu
u need to fix where the character is pointing with weapon, its a bit too much turned to the right. Best is to trace a line from the center of the screen towards the front, and wahtever is traced(hitlocation). make the charactermesh aim towards that hitlocation. that will give the best result.(dynamic centered aim)
it's already the case, it's the animations that are not adapted they are adapted to be used in the center of the screen so when we shift them it does not aim at the right place, I have already made improvements but indeed there is still work to be done. this kit is under development so I have to make choices of progression. if you have my project and that you make improvements do not hesitate to share on discord in the interest of the community

I bought this migrated it to my gasp project. It works nicely, but... In my own project i cant jump off the rail? It tries to jump but it keeps grinding? Any ideas what to do?

You really do amazing work man, thanks ! It would be really nice to also show a text queue to the player when you get close to something that you can interact with. For example something like "[E] to Interact" when you get close to an Interactable item.

I've recently bought this marketplace assets and it's pretty good! but is there any way to activate the rail system the moment the player touches it vs having to actively jump onto the asset itself to activate?

hows the aim overlay works with like a long ass rifle? if we want to add our weapon.
it's exactly the same as for rifles so normally no special modification, you just have to duplicate the animBP of a rifle and change the animations if necessary. Soon I will add Sniper weapons
I can get the project for all the features by subscribing to patreon? Also does this project have headshot system? I mean when shoot in the head it will deal more damage
indeed everything is included in the patreon. For the headshot it is currently not present but it is really easy to set up (you just have to make a condition on the touch bone to check if it is the head)
