I owned a e60 535d lci, great car, thinking to buy the 640d, i saw some comments online saying it does not hande well in corners cause of its long rangy size, how does it feel while driving fast in corners can it be driven "sporty" and having good control? Awsome video btw, stage 1 is a must on cars like these u get so much for so litle money and effort, my 535d was also staged 1 and got around 50hp

Had it cranked through that left hand corner to the point the rear eand started stepping out and then had to lift to try and save it which induced lift throttle oversteer in the other direction? How did camera car seem to have so much more performance than this F40 driven by a race driver? Old tech and old tires?

About 35% of the car is Mk1 Ford Mondeo but the 2.2 diesel engine wasn't in the Mondeo until 2006+ and the 6-speed automatic wasn't in until that model year. Most of the suspension is different in measurements and spec. I own a 58-reg 2.2 automatic Sovereign estate and a big difference is electrics. Lots of facilities and circuitry the Mondeo would never have had and I know because I had a top-spec Mondeo Mk3 Ghia X. It is very smooth, very quiet, very economical, an absolute pleasure to drive AND it stands out in a car park because it looks really DIFFERENT.

The blue pillar is not speed Control - Radar- it's the toll fee control for the trucks. So this blue pillars are not for speed control. Nevertheless please behave well on german roads, folllow the speed limits because it's no lawless country and nobody wants to see rude behaviour. Thanks a lot !!

Been driving my 2016 640d xDrive Gran Coupé since 3 years now. After 120k on the clock I only had one small issue (previous owner never had anything). My five things that I don‘t like are the front cupholders, no electric trunk, no front facing camera, sun roof that doesn‘t really open and the massage seats that aren‘t really massaging you (just your butt). Other than that, the car is awesome! Top five things I like on my car is the Individual extended full leather interior (leather just everywhere you look), Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, M Sport Edition (better than M Sport Package), ventilated front seats (especially in the summer) and all the driving assists (except Night Vision).

Stage 1 on my 640d was the best money I ever spent. Got mine done at gk performance 🙌. Although, I paid 18k 2 and half years ago and it's worth 10k now! 😅

Crank pulley went on mine too recently, bolt for the crank is pig to get off, a mate’s m18 impact made it look like nothing, definitely a tool that’s worth buying. Glad you successfully diagnosed the issue!

FUN! Mine makes a similar noise intermittently. Assumed it was the AC pulley, best get it checked. Not quite as bad as that but worth a look. That stupid cross brace is a ballache, have to get it off to do the oil filter which is also a fun job
