The entire concert is awesome (and that's a British use of the word Awesome not American 😂) Things get really crazy with the instrumental track "On the Run" BUT If you want to see the guys playing in "Back in the day" playing live in an ancient Roman Amphitheatre with No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics just Gods playing to the Gods Pink Floyd "Echoes (Part 1)" live at Pompeii 1972

Great reaction, no interruptions to the solos, no waffling on forever, just great to watch you react to this phenomenal piece of work. This was recorded live at Earls Court, London, which has a capacity of 20,000 people - and they filled it for fourteen nights in a row, that's 280,000 people that saw it over two weeks in London. I saw them 20 years earlier at the same venue when they were promoting Dark Side of the Moon.

I saw the concert live in Chicago at Soldier Field that summer and can attest to the fact that it was an experience and then some. Words fall short. Even this video does not do it justice... You just kinda had to be there. Check out "Time" by the next. You have to have heard it. You haven't even scratched the surface my friend.

Um, Echoes, Live in Pompeii? They're really just playing to the dead, but still. And The Wall, 1990, Berlin. The Whole thing, but particularly during the end of 'The Trial' is so satisfying.

For the first time, I thought for a second that the revolving lights next to David were also being used like Lesley speakers. But the circle's just the back of the lamp, lol.

You're right regarding witnessing this concert live because they utilized 98 million dollars worth of lighting & sound equipment in 1994 money!!! They push 233,000 watts of power through speakers that were on the stage behind the audience on both sides of the audience and above the audience which basically put you inside a giant set of headphones!! Nobody has ever put together a better sound system than Pink Floyd live!!! I've seen them live four times in three different decades and I've seen 100 concerts from ACDC to led Zeppelin and everyone in between alphabetically and nobody has ever put on a better show than Floyd!!!!! And with the sound they only turned it up a little over halfway so there was absolutely no distortion but it was still beyond description powerful!!

Cool reaction mate, I had the pleasure of seeing them on this tour in 94. Seven of us set out from Glasgow to Rotterdam for the best concert I've ever seen. They played to over 5.5 million people on this tour. Sold out Earls Court for 14 nights x 20,000. Can't go wrong with any song from Pulse concert.

David Gilmour at Gdansk was a more recent concert (2008) but his version of Comfortably Numb played with a full orchestra will also give you goosebumps.

I was in Earls Court in 1994 for this Pulse concert and I still get goosebumps when I think about how fantastic it was.

One to consider.. An early concert (of such) is.. Pink Floyd at Pompeii. (there's 2 parts to it.. Maybe do part one in a reaction.. Then part two in another... Or you may want to do the whole piece in one reaction) The track is called ECHOES) Well worth the journey!

I was watching an interview with Sam Brown (the blonde backup singer). They asked her how wild the band were on tour, she said it was like touring with a group of forensic accountants, all very serious and just focused on giving their professional best to the music.

Pink Floyd doesn’t produce songs, they produce albums. The best way to experience Pink Floyd is to find a quiet space, lock the door, put your headphones on and listen to the whole album from start to finish without any interruptions or distractions, just let it take you to wherever in your own mind it does……every song on their albums just blends into each other, often following the story from one song to the next. Start with their album ‘Dark Side of the Moon’……it’s always a good one to start your with, then move onto some of their other studio albums. Pulse is an incredible album, but with it being a ‘Live’ album doesn’t have the story flow as their studio albums…..

The singer- great. Musicians-incredible. It’s the compositions I’m not crazy about. I’ve tried since the band came out to love them. Love the talent in this band. Just not the songs.

The wind is only there at the beginning because this verison comes out of a compilation and what you hear is the end of "One of These Days". Same as the end, on the album it blends into the next song, it does not end with the echoeing voices.

Well what can i say? They are simply one of the very best metal bands, the world has ever seen. Undeniable talent. They are one of the most important bands in the progression of metal over the years.

"Fools Gold" is a track of theirs I love... Amazing time to be alive in UK, during this period of music and partying... Mid/Late 80's to early 90's

I Am The Resurrection. But really that whole debut album front to back will leave you in the best vibe if you have the time.

I worked with a bloke spending weeks away from home at a time with him eventually becoming good friends. He introduced me to TSR. 2 months after i moved jobs he killed himself, and this was one of his fave songs. Always reminds me of him when I hear it. RIP Rossy mate.

Came out in 1989. Part of the ‘Madchester’ era of the late 80’s, early nineties. Bands like Oasis, Inspiral Carpets, Joy Division/New Order, James, Happy Mondays to name but a few. Great era for British music. 👍🏻🎶

Didn't expect that response! First album is fantastic, along with their early singles and b-sides. The second album, would give that a swerve, not missing anything there. But the early stuff was amazing and changed my life.
