We began our adventure at Taronga Zoo Wharf, after taking a bus from Chowder Bay, where we had parked our car. The walk immediately greets you with sweeping views of Sydney's world-famous landmarks-the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the sprawling city skyline. As you follow the winding path around the headlands, each turn offers a new perspective of the harbour, from the boats gliding by to the blue waters stretching out to the ocean.
The Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay walk is more than just a scenic route; it’s steeped in history. Along the way, we stopped at Bradleys Head Amphitheatre, where remnants of military history, including gun emplacements and fortifications, can be explored.
