Pass. I have enough parts for all ultimates to make 30 of them, except kings guard. I'd have to grind for all the parts to get 4 more. That's ridiculous. So spend days to get faster xp? Maybe if you're just starting out, but I'm at 26, and only have 3 more purples to finish. This gun serves ZERO purpose in any actual content where you're on the move. Don't waste you're time ppl, UNLESS you already have all the materials to make all 5. Don't waste time to save time. You lose in the end.

You don't need that mag expansion mod if you have max copies, can easily spawn all 3 and full charge them with ~15 shots remaining before reloading. It only takes like 2-3 hits to full charge a pillar at max copies but the beam has such high fire rate that you need to burst tap it to not waste ammo.

i was doing this right after it got buff like when i updated i went straight to fortress and lvled hailey i think its a really cool weapon can be used in niche scenarios i like it fun to use

@1:09 when you said to look for duration up and skill cool down only, is there a dps lost if you are not mounting the Executor? If there is, by how much dps loss?

I am hitting only around 2k non crit. Crit around 10k-11k. Fully crystallized python and ult gley.I am wondering what is lacking with my ult gley.

I saw the buffs and looked into my inventory i already had like half of the materials needed for lvl 4 unique upgrade, just need to farm the rest and i'm gonna test it out! Still need to get the damned Shot Focus and level my Gley a bit though..

Fairly certain electrocution can only have 1 source, so its either your mod or your unique. Have you tested this? Cuz gregs doesnt allow burn to exist from your mod unless it procs first but usually bombardment applies it first

My prediction was wrong, I was hoping for a Smithereens buff but they buffed Executor instead. As per usual utilize time stamps. If you are coming from the Gley massacre setup then the module setup is pretty much the same no need to re-cat just need to swap some modules and use a non-upgraded focus-on type module for extra 6.1% cd. I had farm all ult desc except ajax, and I didnt crafted perforator yet, just happen to have mats for piercing and crafted it，it help bunny clear invasion boss in 1 phase, can use by gley demonic, can 4 shot pyro with Hailey, so happy with my decision.

PL can do 8 shots with Gold magazines add 12%.

the boss is not going to be down by perforator in 2 shots. Even if assumed so, he wont stay down to fire 9 more shots. For PL he will always almost go down in 2 shots. And stay down for at least 4 more shots and a C skill to hit. Also when u add on weak point expansion, PL has a far bigger hit than perforator. It wont proc again in the 10sec this scenario will last. Additionally, the shot with C skill does at least another PL bullet scenario worth of dmg (when weak point expansion buff is active). In a realistic scenario these are not even close for comparison. Some guy did a clickbait video and now more following to undo tht mess.

Piercing light shot higher dmg while perforator less dmg and around 3 free extra bullet, nothing much diff, and bro we still got others sub guns to switch when zenith bullet finish, I dunno why everyone keep comparing this, and now this kind of video become click bait

I wished we could have more animations with her rail gun or whatever that awesome huge gun is. It looks badass already with how she uses it but only 2 animations feel cheap for the price I'm paying.

Bro where have you even played using perforator in your video 😕 It was all piercing light. Alot of us have already invested in this weapon.

I'm going to wait for the new rifle, but all that will do is determine when I start working on perforator. It's been on the list of one of the weapons I wanted to use, but other weapons keep jumping up in priority.

First off, I just want to say this video is awesome Vergos, and thanks for taking the time to run your own tests. I really appreciate others sharing their opinions on this topic, as well as their findings and I always encourage everyone to do their own testing because of how many differing opinions, numbers, and such fly around in the community. Also, just want to say I appreciate how level-headed and respectful your response is to my video and how well you explained things that I didn't specifically cover in my video, so kudos for the quality content. You have my complete respect off the basis of these things alone. I did want to point out a few things you missed in your test, but not as a means to disprove your claims, or as a "gotcha". This video is genuinely awesome and your main conclusions which are the things that matters the most are absolutely correct. It is just stuff that is important to consider with testing weapons/descendants in this game in general because of how many variables there are to how damage is actually being calculated so I wanted to share for future reference. 1. When comparing numbers on Swamp Walker in this particular case, resist needs to be accounted for when calculating overall output. This is due to it having 271k Chill Resistance as opposed to 176k Defense. This is stuff I'm sure you know as well, but it would be dependent on the boss itself as to how these resistances weigh on the damage split of Hailey's Zenith. In Swamp Walker's case the bias is in favor of the Weapon Damage, while something like Pyromaniac it's in favor of the Skill Damage. One boss that is great for testing this is Executioner as it has equal amounts of Defense and Chill Resistance. In application though it would just be on a case by case basis depending on the boss. 2. The other thing that appeared to be unaccounted for is boss resist to Firearm Crit Rate as opposed to Skill Crit Rate. I know you made the assumption all hits are crits but this wouldn't apply equally to both sides of the Zenith's damage so this assumption has bias towards the Weapon Damage. I don't know the exact percentages here, but every boss sits around ~28% resist to Firearm Crit Chance. As far as Skill Power Crit Chance, Gluttony very clearly has super high resist to Skill Crit Hit chance, but I would always recommend just using a normal Gun setup in this case because it does outperform the Sniper Setup regardless of Weapon and such. As for the rest of the bosses, I again don't have the exact % but the boss's crit resist to Skill Crit Chance is noticeably lower than 28%. So accounting for that will be favorable for a setup with more shots total although to what extent I'm not entirely sure. I wish I could provide you exact percentages but I don't have them. If you run a good amount of tests comparing the crit chance on each instance and track that, you will see the difference there. Regardless of any of this, your final conclusion is correct and align with the most important points I wanted people to take from my video, if anything at all. One being, the Perforator is an excellent place for people to start who want a budget friendly option. Two being that, despite some variables in the damage calculation missing and some things being assumed in the numbers you provide, the Perforator is much friendlier and more forgiving for the average player. And three being that if you have a fully optimized sniper with a good reactor, the Perforator setup is by no means necessary. Thanks for making this video and actually taking the time to test things on your own. I wish you nothing but the best <3

I'll still max out piercing light simply because it just seems like the best overall option of all 3 supposedly BiS weapons. Overall, in terms of usage, between descendants and its effect, while not prevalent now, has the best potential for future updates. Also...no way im spending any more time trying to farm a reactor 😂 Also that new chill scout rifle comes out next update, so we won't know if it will change things then, too.

Great video. All true. I tested it and it confirms. Very interesting! PL can kill SW with 5 shots. 4? I can't tell. 5, yes. I did it. But you need to be fast, otherwise it will enter the frenzied state. The only problem with the Perforator is that you'll have a hard time hitting the colossus weak points from afar without exposing yourself to danger. You might pull it off in private, but a sniper will serve you better in public interceptions. Hailey is so powerful that you'll easily solo any boss until the swamp walker with almost any half decent gun. From the SW onwards, things change. SW itself requures much better timing and precision and the other bosses will be done with a group setting, so a different, more robust build is required. How much more depends on your playstyle, experience, and, above all, the other players. With randoms, you better buff thar build.

The grind is real for ult gley, I’ve got her modules set up the way I like it but man to get all the weapon modules upgraded takes much longer 😿 😹

Uhm so long story short. 1. Both weapon can be the best depending on which boss. 2. Perforator is budget friendly for players who just started Hailey and no technical skill needed. 3. Stick with PL or AG if you have them maxed out and already have best reactors, no need to stress, depending on how you play and the boss that you are fighting, you will more or less deal the same amount of damage or higher. Meaning always hitting weak points, critting a lot. 4. If you do wanna switch over to the perforator please go ahead and do so. It's still solid choice, for Hailey at least. But having a maxed out AG or PL will still be useful in the future for other descendants. So don't stress, all your efforts are not in vain. 5. Perforator or any impact round weapon for that matter are easier to use, cause no need to target weak points. 6. Body shots with perforator will always do more total damage than the PL or AG. Hence why I said if you are using perforator don't aim for the weak points and just unleash hell. 7. Oh please FFS. Hailey's C/2ND and Z/4TH SKILL DAMAGE does not get affected by weak point damage or any weapon module for that matter. Timestamps 0:00 Props to Meui make sure to check him out.
