No need brother. I'll explain it to you here. While dangerous ambush does give higher skill power this only tops walk a tight rope ONLY WHEN the boss is knocked down. Which only happens 2-3x a fight for a few seconds. Even when the boss is not targeting you. Walk a tight rope still gives better damage. Walk a tight rope though not only increase your skill power but also increase your firearm attack. And this buff will almost always be up the entire duration of the fight because even if you like it or not you will almost always be under 50% health. Just at the start of the fight when you Q->C->Z->V this ritual already puts you below 50% and even when you die going back to massacre will always put you below 50%. The only time that I think dangerous ambush is a good option is WHEN you party with a Yujin that is constantly healing the party.
I've already finished changing every socket with Catalysts and after 100+ runs of Battery mission I still can't get my hands on Walk a Tightrope mod... 😢
I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong with Pyro cuz I can take him down all the way to the last bit of health and then he goes immune everytime before I can finish him.
First you need to down him without filling the frenzy meter, when he gets knock down, make sure to squeeze in every bit of dps on your first increase sensory cast be very careful not to drop out of massacre though, 2nd cast of increase sensory keep dpsing him until he is almost up and stop dpsing for a split second to wait for him to summon the starfish mobs and with some luck he will do 1 more attack even when his frenzy meter is filled - in that amount of time you should be able to finish him. Make sure not to get hit by the ads too cause they stagger. Make sure you are hitting weak points to maximize damage.
Gley is decent, although it varies from farming spot and mob type/resistances. Bunny doesnt care about that. If you don't want to switch that's fine, mobbing with gley works well. But bunny just does it faster on different spots.
Hey man! Thanks so much for the video. I have a quick question thou. For the solo build, The slayer set adds additional skill cost which means you take more damage when activating skills. Higher HP could help with this a bit. if i wanted to keep Stim Accelerant on instead of battle of stamina would that be ok?
hi! in your previous video u were using something like mo accelerant instead of maximize duration. Does the -21% skill power modifier on that module hurt the damage of the build? Thx 4 the answer I love your vids!
@@ilonafrkalova1809 Ah yes. It was because I didnt have the proper modules back then. That extra duration for increased sensory even if it's just a second extra when Sharp Shot Focus is at full stacks actually more than makes up for that -21% skill modifier maybe even more. Tested this when going for the 15s pyro kill. That extra 1 second on the solo run setup made a huge difference haha.
actually it varies from skill to skill. if a skill has low base skill power modifier go for iron defense, if it has a high base high modifier go for raw skill power. check both comparison for pt.1 and pt.2 use the time stamps in description.
Yes. it has to be Python unfortunately. If you are using Python. The reactor must match the weapon that you're using. Otherwise you are missing on a lot dps.
Best thing on the video is using pyro boss to showcase the dmg.. love it ❤ But have a question to that. Is it a huge dmg lost if i use hp collector instead of spear and shield/iron defense?
In theory it should work but the main reason why we go for Python is because of fire rate right, gley has unlimited ammo, so more fire rate means more damage from gley's ult. As for freyna I believe her ult has limited ammo, so I think going for a gun that takes advantage of her abilities or element like say the fallen hope and this is just a theory craft but a fully upgraded secret garden seems like a solid choice too. I'm actually looking forward to the ultimate freyna version.
@@timbobreschow3045 i tested this with an Enzo before. It was like damn! No words brother. The damage just takes off if you pair it with support characters. I can only imagine the damage buff with a support sharen.
Spear and shield is better than iron defence the demonstration you showed didn’t show gley at Lower hp where her skill power modifier increases when her hp is lower stacking more power modifier will just lead to diminishing returns
My god. I should've included the lowest possible HP and yes i've tested this too. But brother Iron Defense still wins even at the lowest HP possible. Why? because massacre has a very low base skill power modifier. Not to worry I will include this in the next video. Sorry for that. Still testing this extensively with different module combinations while keeping 100% increased sensory duration but for now this is what I have.
@@dodoelloco3562 You have all the other modules too? Make sure you have all the other modules because if you are missing one even with multitalented you will still have higher cooldown. Also multitalented works differently with differently skills. If you use it with dimension like massive sang, you will get reduced cooldown for 5s, if you use with singular like gley's 3rd, you will get additional damage. And only 1 buff can and will stay active for 5seconds. Try to use frenzy and wait for 5 seconds before you use massive sang. You can also check which buff is active by the icons beside your character. I've just tested this now and it works.
@@DailyBrainBreak python will pale in comparison to greg's when it comes to raw damage. Greg has better damage as a weapon alone. But you won't be able to use greg's for massacre. Massacre only takes in the weapon's atk, fire rate, crit dmg, weak point dmg but no it's unique effect. So if you use greg's for massacre you won't get the machine like fire rate like in the video and no bombardment effect.
@@Zerefk9 yes normal gley will work. Non if the descendant modules are ultimate gley exclusive so I believe it will work with normal Gley. Although you might get lower hp or defense but shouldnt be that much.
@@SAFBLight sure thing! I am already working on it for different weapons, the only annoying part is that they need to be maxed out and I still don't have the bloody shot focus module. Once, I get my hands on it. I'll get it done.
@@Ribbonzarkuraspear spear and shield skill power % doesnt change even when it's fully upgraded. It stays at 8.1%. I forgot to include that my bad. Although skill power % and skill power modifier % effect varies from skill to skill. I will be doing a video explanation for this in the next following days.
yes it does. I was after the extra 1s duration for when soloing bosses, you can run with outstanding investment if you prefer that, still gives you 100% uptime.
I saw your other comment about weapons and stuff for massacre, I just can't find it somewhere so I will answer your here. Massacre does not take in effect the weapon's unique ability only fire rate and raw damage provided by modules. The only reason why I chose python is because of it's really high fire rate, this build's bulk damage comes from Massacre. So more fire rate = more damage
@@SeanDiamondex 1 second difference duration for increased sensory if i'm not mistaken. Ideally, if you are trying to pull off some try hard stuff like a 6-7s devourer or 15second pyro kill then the extra duration is really helpful. Since that extra second is really good with sharp precision. On the other hand if you just wanna chill in group play and not worry much about dps then either of them will work.
@@cloudskyline4587 agree! But it depends on how you play it too or your team mates. I can use massacre comfortably in group play up to fortress. I don't recommend it for gluttony though.
@@desmondmiles2817 if you look at the numbers during the pyromaniac run. The lower dmg in yellow that is your weapon damage, high number in white is your skill atk damage. Annihilation only works for weapon damage and slayer works for skill atk damage. Skill atk damage is higher so using slayer to further improve that is better than using annihilation set to improve the lower number.
@@blackkat101 Guys I tested this in lab, I noticed that skill power doesn't have much impact. What are those red numbers? And also the massacre last skill says that special weapon will have same damage as that of your inventory weapon. So when I increased my inventory weapon damage the special weapon damage also got increased. So annihilation also increases damage of weapon right?
@@blackkat101 I am just confused how 60% is skill power, the special weapon has same damage as my weapon. I am using thunder cage as I don't have python. One more question, when you hit any Colossus how much red damage do you guys can attain ?
@@desmondmiles2817 Weapons account for about 30% of the total damage delt when using Massacre. So yes, Annihilation will still give a buff. Though also note that you do not get Annihilation 's full buff unless at 0.01% HP.... Skill Power is your largest boost you can get with Massacre through multipliers. Note that because of how Massacre works, Fire Rate of the weapon is also the most important stat that the gun is sharing. Which is why the Python, with its 923 base Fire Rate and abilities to use an Ultimate Reactor for more skill multipliers, is the best weapon to use.
There are a few things on your build that are just throwing me off and having me scratch my head.. One, I’m trying to figure out why you are using the Slayer set over the Annihilation set. Secondly, Why a purple cool down over Gold. Other than that. The only difference, I’m seeing between Iron Defence and Spear and Shield is that ID Is a Skill Power Modifier and S&S is Skill Power. But since you also speck into Focus on Dimension which is a Skill power Modifier, so yea it would go hand in hand. But both iron Defence and focus on dimension is not needed IMO. Personally I would replace Iron Defence with Soear and shield and Stim Accelerant with increase HP and Focous on Dimension with Skill simplification. For reactor best in slot for bosses if you are using the python, would be skill, cool down and additional ATK to colossal, otherwise if using the Thunder Cage, skill cooldown & skill duration up, or you can also have one of the two stats just mentioned with ATK to colossal. And use the annihilation set. I mean it’s literally made for Glay, especially if you’re using Walk A Tight Rope and Massive Sangufication. It’s a no brainer. But to each their own. Your build, is still a very good build and since I also have the mods and the gear set, that you use, I can give it a try and who knows I might be in for a surprise. Anyways, Good Video. Keep an eye out for me on your next video. As I should have my feedback results by then.
Any feedback is well appreciated brother! Like you said this is my version of the build and I'm not claiming that this is the best out there. I always love to hear about others' experience and setup with the hopes of finding something better. To answer some of this though, Slayer over annihilation is because, this build focuses more on skill atk damage via massacre(70, 948 per hit) , not the weapon damage(26,444 per hit). Slayer adds more skill power, annihilation adds more firearm atk damage. If you look at the damage showcase the skill attack via massacre is more than double the amount of the weapon damage(check yellow damage, weak point damage) furthermore, during fights, especially longer boss fights, the way bosses turn around like a ballerina, in the case of this build you won't be hitting weak points 100% of the time but skill damage still do the same whether you are hitting a weak point or not, this mostly for random encounters of course. Although, I completely agree that if we use a thundercage annihilation set is the way to go. Also I said, get at at least a purple cd roll, not purple over gold. Also I did say skill cd/skill atk vs colossus is BiS for this setup. Yes, a min/max video is upcoming including everything that you've said annihilation set, skill simplification etc etc. My current testing still shows that my current setup yields better dps. However I don't want to release this yet without exploring every possible option. I fell in love with Gley's gameplay, that's why I'm trying every possible way to maximize the damage.
Feedback is always appreciated brother. If there is something that you'll change out of this, please do tell. It is only a build out of several others are out there which almost have the same components. In the end it all boils down on how you play the character itself. This works for me so.
EDIT - I believe the build will work for normal Gley as well. Tbh the only difference between normal and ultimate descendants are some Transcendent modules that are exclusive to ultimates(massive sanguification is available to both gley and ultimate gley) and a little bit better base stats, health/def maybe? The catch though is progress on normal descendants don't carry over to ultimates. and Ultimate Gley can run while using her 3rd skill while shooting - don't know if this is intended. bro, guilty as charged I bought ultimate bunny. With Ultimate Gley though, I don't know how to put this, I just wanted catalyst blue prints at 20% chance, piercing light stuff at 32% chance, python stuff at 32% chance etc etc at 20-32% chance. And lo and behold i keep getting these ultimate descendants parts, I even have a surplus of parts for ultimate gley to make another one. I only need ultimate lepic code to make him and I was not even hunting for this guy. One thing that I've noticed about this game is that it gives what you don't want/need but rarely gives you what you are actually hunting. You'll get there. Then again, i'm on long service leave so I do have some spare time 😆😆.
All this is pointless if you need to spend your entire life to farm just to get the phyton and the ultimate gley. The drop rate is so horrible. Spent 2 days and still haven't got a piece of gley.
If you are level 1 and rank 1 just stick with bunny or the initial descendant you picked, upgrade hp and def modules for descendant (they are useful for survival and at long run they are useful). Also I would recommend to use activators and catalysts in the weapons (Thundercage is a really safe option con use it for bossing or mobbing) and with that you should be able to get to hard mode. Hope this comment help you.
@@tlyoungb sorry mate this wasnt intended for players who just started the game. I recommend finishing the story first. After finishing the story you'll get 2x free energy activators. How they let you play in the church?
can you do a guide comparing dangerous ambush and walk a tightrope?
The only time that I think dangerous ambush is a good option is WHEN you party with a Yujin that is constantly healing the party.
so its best to play walk a tight rope if you wanna do solos and dangerous ambush when playing with a team
@@justcap6210 dangerous ambush only with Yujin. Otherwise solo or group walk a tight rope still.

How is gley with mobbin overall, do you mob with gley or bunny? I dont like switching classes :( i like a 1 desedent do all
Gley is decent, although it varies from farming spot and mob type/resistances.
That's fine. I just wanted more duration on the solo bossing setup since I wanted to finish the boss in 2 rotations of increased sensory.

*mp accelerant
@@ilonafrkalova1809 Ah yes. It was because I didnt have the proper modules back then. @@arcanebeast4661 not huge but definitely noticeable.
can the python build be good for freyna too? or she has a different concept for python?
In theory it should work but the main reason why we go for Python is because of fire rate right, gley has unlimited ammo, so more fire rate means more damage from gley's ult. As for freyna I believe her ult has limited ammo, so I think going for a gun that takes advantage of her abilities or element like say the fallen hope and this is just a theory craft but a fully upgraded secret garden seems like a solid choice too.
I'm actually looking forward to the ultimate freyna version.

doesnt maximize duration lower the power of our massacre ?
yes it does.
@Vergos240 because after i wrote the comment i got the answer and deleted it thank you so much anyway

Why Annihilation is not better than slayer ???????????
@@desmondmiles2817 if you look at the numbers during the pyromaniac run. The lower dmg in yellow that is your weapon damage, high number in white is your skill atk damage. Annihilation only works for weapon damage and slayer works for skill atk damage. Skill atk damage is higher so using slayer to further improve that is better than using annihilation set to improve the lower number.
60% of the damage you do while using Massacre comes from the skill, thus Skill Power is a much stronger buff over Firearm ATK.
To answer some of this though,
Slayer over annihilation is because, this build focuses more on skill atk damage via massacre(70, 948 per hit) , not the weapon damage(26,444 per hit).

It is only a build out of several others are out there which almost have the same components. In the end it all boils down on how you play the character itself. This works for me so.
You people and your unlocking ultimate descendants. I ain't got the time or money.
