Def get a wideband in it. the FMU set up for what your doing is perfectly fine, but being able to monitor is key, as well as swapping to the Y8 injectors if you haven't yet for a little more fuel over the stock 180cc of the y7.

weather it blows up or not i feel like the point of doing the work to turbo a car is to increase power and fun, and no flame but this doesnt seem much quicker than it was stock and now it also runs the risk of blowing up, why not just get the ecu and tune and actually enjoy the car knowing its good and having the performance. I dont really see the benefit in what's going on here.

Instead of running a fmu cant you just run a fpr as it pretty much works the same way from vacuum pressure

I have used a fmu many times , 95 accord turbo with a fmu , 92 civic d15 with a fmu and now a nissan hardbody with a fmu long as its low boost and you pull a couple degrees of timing they work great. Not everyone wants a race car. But a fun car for sure

About to turbo the civic now lol, I got a d16y8 so one less part I have to swap 🤦🏻‍♂️ I do have a question though… why not swap injectors? They seem reasonably priced. Will that raise the need for a tune? Wondering how the build would run with injectors and the fmu

What up, when you replaced your halogens for led’s did you need to remove the ballast? or did your new led’s come with their own ballasts? or can you literally just change swap them and plug them in? might sound like a dumb question but i’ve been looking into it and it’s saying it could cause dash lights or electrical issues. If you could get back to me it’d be much appreciated!

Took me a couple of months to get all the pieces together to do this swap. Deep in the process now. Wathced this video at least 5 times in preperation for the swap. You are absolutley right, the gasket is the hardest part of the job. Thanks, you helped me a ton !

dont do this to your boosted build man, this is not reliable you do not have a consistent AFR using an fmu there is no commanded fuel pressure super risky setup for any boosted car, spend the money get the tune.

Can I run 15 psi of boost? Built engine?
