Creating a healthy relationship with music is good! Once you focus on healing yourself from the reason you are perhaps having an unhealthy relationship with music, then you can listen to it when you would like, rather than to avoid something within yourself. Heal the reason you are addicted to music, otherwise you'll just transfer that unhealthy relationship with music onto something else, you won't heal from simply abstaining from the thing that you believe is causing the issues.
