The Second Assault by Achille Marozzo - Introduction

Hi all, with this series I hope to address a few of your requests. First, the second Assalto of Achille Marozzo is quite a bit more complicated - so a detailed "how to" was in order anyway. Additionally it focuses on transitioning from wide into narrow play, which is an awesome area to work on. So in the upcoming months I'll film whenever I find the time. Be patient however, since I am finishin...

Pietro Monte gives us a glimpse into the early development of two-handed sword fighting, in his Collectanea, written in the early 1490’s. What is particularly interesting, is he lays o...

You can read the instructions. Does that mean you can do it? Of course not. You must do it. Sparring can only gain so much before poor habits develop from the Game that is sparring. Can you actually fight? Do you know the real feeling of fighting? How can you gain that feeling? Have you ever faced a real blade in real life? It is not like sparring. I mean no insult, I’m sure you are skilled. But we all need to consider these questions

Btw, I have not hated the word "capacity" more than I do now... it hits to close for comfort. 😅 But seriously, I'll check the dimensions carefully, no point to have a jacket that inhibits your arm movement in sidesword (or any other HEMA weapons).
