You sound so defeated but keep your head up you’ll find something look at gig work ,look for city jobs something local . I’m praying for you🙏🏽🙏🏽💙💙💙
Thank you Sally 💜
Hi Steph! so sorry about your job being unreasonable :( It is crazy out there and hopefully you will get a new remote position soon. Great breakdown😊
Thank you Jenny 😊
Have you tried the unemployment office. Everything should be legit from them!
Oooo I hadn't thought about them, that's a great idea! Thank you Jackie 😊
Damn it’s so crazy that you have to worry about scammers just trying to find a job. The internet is awesome in so many ways, but it’s also so scary. I hope you will find some better options soon 🙏🏼
Right, like I'm trying to make some money not get it taken from me lol. I'm in the wrong business lol.
Catching up! So glad to hear things went much better this time around for the interview!
Thank you Mrs M
Interesting video Stephanie. One has to be so careful with all the scammers out there. Good luck with the job situation ✅🌟💯. Commuting to and from is rough. The work at home jobs, or remote jobs are really nice. Nice budgeting 💰💸
Thanks so much Mona ❤️
💜💜💜 Happy Saturday my friend 😊. Great BWM and good luck on the job hunt 💜💜💜
Thanks so much Kathy, happy Sunday 😊
I hate those “ghost applications”. They’ll call you out the blue 3 months later and by that time I’ve found something else🤦🏽♀️. Hopefully you’ll find something before you have to return to office or even before the new year. Them not accommodating you is childish in my opinion. Like I have a family ppl🙄
Thank u Clarissa, I'm going to keep looking. I can't give up but I'm grateful I'm not jobless, so many ppl are struggling to find work w this economy
@@budgetfor5withstephanie same here Stephanie. Everyday grateful for my job and that it's 5 mins away from home and around the corner from the girls school. I'm holding on as well until God tells me to move. We got this girl!
I used to commute to work and it took such a toll on my mental health. I felt like I was missing so much “life with my family” because I was stuck driving so much. Between the extra gas/wear and tear on my vehicle, the missed family moments, and exhaustion from spending so much time in the car, I found that changing jobs was a win win. It turned out that the money I saved in gas matched the money I lost in the pay cut.
I imagine it's going to be very taxing mentally. I hope I can find something comparable soon. Otherwise, I'm still waiting on the dept of education to tell me I'm eligible for an educators license so I can take the tests. I can switch to teaching for the 25/26 school year if I can get all that sorted out by the summer.
@@budgetfor5withstephanie I hope you get approved. Have you looked into an assistant or office position?
@@BudgetWithMrsP when I looked on the county website I don't remember seeing any assistant positions. I saw some janitorial and food service positions. I need to check the other 2 counties close to me.
There’s still time, who knows they might go back to working from home. Great budget video. Enjoy your weekend,
Thank you Sheila, you too 💜
Inflexible for no reason. Hope your interview goes well! Great BWM- hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🌷💗🌸
Thanks so much Christine, you too 💜
Just saying what I would do, I would let that job go! You could work at a temp job, retail, etc... closer to your house with better hours, until you find something better. Less expense and stress! ❤❤❤
I'm not giving up. I'm sure the right thing will come along as long as I don't stop looking. Thanks for watching, I hope ur having a good weekend!
Your job is being unnecessarily petty about this it’s quite ridiculous. Hopefully you’ll get a wfm position soon. Hoping that your test results come back good.
Thank you Jenn, I hope u have a great weekend!
Hi how long your commute will be ?
Hi, it's 90 mins each way.
@@budgetfor5withstephanie that is a long commute ☹️
Oh no sucks that your job isn’t able to accommodate but it’s usually like that. I’ve heard “if we accommodate you we will have to accommodate others too” and bla bla. Lol Good luck on your interview today!
Thank you Cyn, yes, I've thought the same thing. It's unfair to me but others have been back in the office so me being home was unfair to them. I just wish I didn't have to go lol
Hi Stephanie 👋 great budget, Ty for sharing 😊🩵
Thank you Margie 😊
Great BWM!
Thank you Kate 😊
That stinks about your current job and all the rain. Better days are coming my friend 🧡. Have a great weekend
Thank you Holly, I believe it! Have a great weekend 😊
I hope you find a work from home job soon. Good luck
Thank you Shannon 😊
Good luck with your interview today! The right job is out there for you and I am confident you will find it!
Thank you so much ☺️
Hey Stephanie!! Those scammers are so annoying… sorry you have to go through this friend. Great job planning!!
Thanks so much Melissa, have a great weekend 😊
That sucks about the job! I will pray this interview goes well! Those scams are frustrating! But interestingly enough, I had an actual recruiter reach out to me about a job that I had no applied for and it was indeed a real job.😊🩷
I’m sorry about the job situation it’s difficult but hopefully all will work out and as you said continue to apply and hopefully greater will come along. As for the ghost jobs it’s terrible, I used to work in management and the company I worked for always had ads open for all positions but they weren’t actively hiring, it was sad because I would get so many resumes and they literally would just sit in a pile.
Thank so much. Wow, yes! I know it has to be a real thing, idk y they do that though..to make numbers look good for the labor department or something?!
So sorry your job is being unreasonable. They can absolutely let you work from home. They're just being rigid. You're doing great with the situation though! 💜Beau
Thank you Beau 😊
reminder this is unpaid. But I would rather work un paid than to do something I don't feel comfortable- with especially when i comes to my children.
Yes, I have about 4 weeks of pto I could use to make up the money while I was on fmla. I did that when I had to go back to work during covid. It's def something I could do.
Thats horrible that the company will not accommodate- Seeing you need to take of your children and as a mom your goal and mine as a mother are to ensure our children are safe right? Well go to HR and ask for your allowed FMLA paperwork and tell them that you will need to take family leave until you find safe and reliable transportation- this will allow for you to take the time to find safe and adequate care. They can not deny Family medical leave- I would use that resource and slap it back on their desk. Smile when you walk away and after you drop it off on the desk.
It’s not that they can’t accommodate your request or for you to continue working from home, they just don’t want to for essentially no reason as you’ve been doing your job from home for years 🙄 absolutely ridiculous
Right I read that companies do this to get people to resign without them having to do layoffs 😞
@@summerjoy247 yeah that sounds plausible, a way to clear out some of the work force. I’m fortunate to be in the U.K. where we have stricter employment laws but it seems this forced return to the office is ramping up again in the U.S.
Exactly they’re being petty
So truuuee, it makes me so angry! The higher ups are fuddy duddy boomers and they want us in the office bc that's the way things have always been done. I'm going to be even less productive in office after driving an hr and a half and being at the water cooler catching up w the office folks lol
Super duper for planning fir the $40 co-pay and also for putting it into the medical sinking fund. Your budget is tight enough that it could be so easy to re-direct it elsewhere.
Thank you Terry, I hope u have a great weekend 😊
@@budgetfor5withstephanie Our week and week-end start is pretty good as we got the old log splitter working (its old and it's been quite the process) and the other half also got the tail light lense on the truck replaced (it had been broken earlier in the week in a parking lot). The truck is a `94, we're greatful we were able to order it from O'Rileys, and that it only cost $37; we had a little underlyng dread on that one especially when we had to order the whole light bucket.
Yep... stay positive for the best and plan realistically for how things are right now. I'm sure things will work out ... great video❤... and I've never heard of ghost jobs before...
Thank you, happy friday. It's a term I picked up on one of the finance/economy channels I watch lol

Congrats for the much better interview.
Thank you Terry 😊
Are these call center jobs work from home? If so, could you arrange for another mother to pick up and bring your kids home?
Yes, they are. I thought about it but I think bringing 3 additional kids home might be difficult for someone. They'd have to a car big enough for my kids and their kids. Idk how to even find out if there is someone who lives where I do that could do that. They go to school in the next city over so it's not our neighborhood school. I have started signing them up for our neighborhood school so they can ride the bus to and from school. It picks up right by our house.
@@budgetfor5withstephanieWhen you're networking for solutions and also preparing to think out of the box, dont project your own feelings and beliefs before starting out. For example, a mom transporting a single child in a 5 seater vehicle may be willing to transport your 3 children. If you kicked in some gas money, which theoretically should be cheaper than child care, they may be all the happier. Likewise a shift worker getting off at 1PM or 2PM may be willing too; all the more somif they're financially strapped and you threw in some gas money. - The first place to network would be school, then church, then within the community.
@@budgetfor5withstephanieIf transferring the kids into a different school system or school, NOW while you have access to the school syllabuses, can photo copy the text book information, amd tje feelings of both what you like and dislike about the current school is the time to record the information. You may decide to augment what the kids get in the new school and system.
Amoung other things, it sounds like a change of schools would free up the $225 of after care, cut down on the transportation costs, and maybe even free up some time.
I might be caught up now? Great closeout! I’m so sorry about your animals!! 🌸💗🌷
Thanks so much Christine ❤️

Thank you so much Christine ☺️
I’m so far behind- trying to catch up! Sorry about the AC, but so glad you had the funds!! 🌷💗🌸
Felt so good to have the money instead of putting it on a cc!
Hi Stephanie. Glad your interview went better this time. Is there opportunity for a pay increase in the future or chances to move up in the company to a higher paying position?
Hi Holly. I asked him that and he said u could be a team lead but it's not an increase in pay. There are no sups.. just managers and ppl don't typically leave those jobs. He said they do annual increases but it'd take years to get to what I'm making now lol.
@@budgetfor5withstephanie aww that’s a bummer. But it sounds like you are asking all the right questions. Hoping the next job interview will be a better fit. Keep us posted and best of luck. You got this! 🤜🤛
