Hi Logan. Loved the video. I am currently going through my CPA exams from India. I would be grateful if you could guide on How international CPA students who have cleared CPA exams can find work for the experience and Licensing requirements. Again. Kudos on providing clarity from your videos regarding CPA. Regards.
Thank you! I have no experience with the international version of the CPA, sorry!
Is ot possible to study CPA in USA for in an Indian
Anything is possible!
You don’t need a CPA license to create your own tax prep firm.
I think the fall tax projection lets the client know if they’re f*cked.
I do the curated emails each year during October and November. They are great and help drive those ‘“QQ” consults at the end of the year when MRR may be the only thing carrying me afloat.

Are you related to any of the Graf's from the Akron, OH area? My grandma was a Graf from Akron.
@@naturalcurequest4878 nope, but there's a bunch of us in the middle of Kansas
how old are you? look so young. i started a firm at 25 now I'm 31 with 120 clients.

I took a holiday job once when I graduated college with the Post Office. It was for 2 months. 5 days a week, 12 hours a day during the winter. So 60 hour work weeks. What broke my mind was I'd enter the office at 5 AM before the sun had come up and I'd leave at 5AM after the sun set--so I never saw the sun for like 2 months. I do think it messed with my head a little. To make things worse, there were no windows in the mail sorting room where we'd give mail off to the carriers, so there wasn't sunlight indoors. Also, around 9AM all the carriers would leave, so I was alone just sorting mail by myself from like 9AM--4PM when the carriers would come back. Dude that job was terrible.
Sounds just like my first two years as a CPA lol
Inspiring brother! Love to see this

What software do you use?
@@bonitalady2504 pretty much all of them but UltraTax for tax returns

Logan is the destroyer of worlds, crusher of fax machines. We haven't even seen the Texas man with the white crown vic at his full strength yet .
Seeing local business owners needing bookkeeping help. Non-cpa with several years working in public accounting & plan to launch the firm when 2025 rolls in. Want to focus on Bookkeeping & advisory for now during the side hustle phase. Might push into tax but I don't want to spread myself thin. I want to have a niche & expertise as a solo firm which is why I'm hesitant on tax. Thanks for the videos! I'm consuming as much as I can as I plan everything out.

@abhaypatel8039 sorry I am unfamiliar with CMA and CPA in India.
very excited for this!

This is something I want to do with my life as well I want to build a business around tax consulting.
Thanks for the brutual honestly. Glad there is CPA that is willing to accept that. Every reason you mentioned is the reason why CPA is not worth it anymore. People love to use it to flex but do not understand the risk to reward is TERRIBLE LOL! I am grateful and blessed I have always kept my self involved in side hustles and those side hustles can sometimes pop off (if scalable of course) and offer you a better life (I value Time Freedom a lot). I guess that must be the entrepreneurial side of me but yeah, I rather grind 1-4 years on side hustles that are scalable then a CPA. That title is diminishing in value and so are some of the programs these colleges offer. I am voting for the new proposed plan for the CPA, it makes it easier and less money out our pockets. Feel bad for those that still got loans to pay off in this day and age and are a CPA....
Insightful content Logan! How many years of experience did you have when first starting out if you don’t mind me asking?
About 6 years. 4 years at a staff level. 2 at a director level.
This was me during busy season like 2 months ago very emotional cause of the lack of rest. The senior auditors are very intense. I appreciate the time we spent to gain the experience but it’s way to stressful.
I was told I don't need a CPA certification to work for a tax company. I'm still possibly interested in getting one though.

"Trust me, I am not that smart. I have to study a long time to understand something." 😂 I can relate! I have a 4.0 gpa and I'm dumb as a stump. Ok, im not that stupid, but definitely no genius. Its all ethic!
Hey Logan! How many managers have you seen cry in the busy times?
What i see is an increase in identity theft due to the release of delicate information( SSN, etc.) and a tech savvy information age.
If youre saying no to work as a firm owner, you've said no to onboarding talent that would have taken that work off of your plate or charge a high enough "headache premium" to get the headache client to say no to you.
Hi. I invite you to explore the opportunity of hiring ACCOUNTING VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS in the Philippines. You can hire qualified FILIPINO CPAs whom you can pay monthly with just PHP 40,000 - PHP 50,000 or less than $ 1,000 dollars. You can have them handle 10 or more clients per individual which would greatly increase your profitability. I assure you that you will not regret choosing to hire FILIPINO CPAs over AMERICAN ACCOUNTANTS. 😊

nice I am just starting out on my own as a side hustle until I can quit my job. I have thought about it for a few years but its hard to make the leap from a CFO salary to essentially zero income.
I know I’m late, but great video
I really liked your video, It is very helpful for us like beginners.
Great Video Logan! The Audit function is definitely worth the CPA! Also there are certain services that a CPA can license is needed. Especially in my state when it comes to film credits. CPA can review Financials for a movie and write a comfort letter stating that these expenses were incurred in the GA. This will save the film company substantial time in obtaining there film credits.
Hey Logan, new subscriber and want to ask you a few questions. Is there any possibility I could get your email?

@@taxtelegraf oh word! I am not from the USA and am currently finishing my master’s in finance. I’m considering pursuing a globally recognized designation like the CPA, but I’m open to other options as well. My main interests are in tax, accounting, and asset management, though I’m not particularly interested in the CFA. Do you have any recommendations?
@@GabrielRodriguez-xd1tb Do you like accounting?
@@taxtelegraf yes I do. It comes relatively easy to me.
3 big reasons why it's really dropping. 1. When I was at Uni and this goes for my other friends who told me the same thing. There was a term being used "weeding out students" specifically in accounting. Idk wtf they were thinking. 2. CPA exam pass rates keep dropping (harder exam) whats the point in following an accounting path otherwise. I so know plenty of ppl with just masters but most ppl branch out once they see potential in analyst roles. 3. Big 4 mostly make you hate accounting when you work for them couple years. This is an extra note, ai is starting to take over AP/AR and repetitive tasks. Sooner than later, you'll need few accounts rather than say 5-6 just checking entries
