This is what I hate, why should I put my all into a job and company that won't treat me the same way and can be sacked at anytime. Instead you can build your own company and be the boss

I was terminated from my first CPA job. One of the best things that ever happened to me.

Same! It led me down the road to me starting my own firm.

I love how you weren’t sure what to do about working for a firm or starting your own business and you went to twitter for encouragement. It definitely worked out. You sometimes have to do uncomfortable things to get the best results.

Well done Logan that takes guts and it will help other people who might be currently in a tough position to see that things can turn out well and to be hopeful.

Inspiring story and great video. I have been following your videos for a little while now as I can totally relate to the financial freedom having started my own firm from scratch last year. Every day there is something new and challenging we face and overcoming small things give such a sense of achievement and success. It drives me to get better at it and try new things to grow and achieve those goals. Keep up the great work, cheers!

Being real shows some true guts Logan and shows that’s how you’ve come as far as you have. Really awesome.

Wow - This video hits close to home. I was laid off twice during the pandemic, On the 2nd layoff, I started my bookkeeping business. I ended up getting another job while still having my bookkeeping business. It's hard, but I need to remind myself that self-employment is the goal for financial freedom.

Thanks Logan for being transparent and sharing your story. I’m sorry that happened to you. But it looks like it was a blessing in disguise and pushed you to make the scary decision to start your business, which is going great. You are such an inspiration. I bet this story is just what some accountant out there needs to hear.

How could a partner decide someone isn't a good fit after only 3 days on the job?
