I love how you weren’t sure what to do about working for a firm or starting your own business and you went to twitter for encouragement. It definitely worked out. You sometimes have to do uncomfortable things to get the best results.

Wow - This video hits close to home. I was laid off twice during the pandemic, On the 2nd layoff, I started my bookkeeping business. I ended up getting another job while still having my bookkeeping business. It's hard, but I need to remind myself that self-employment is the goal for financial freedom.

But it looks like it was a blessing in disguise and pushed you to make the scary decision to start your business, which is going great. You are such an inspiration. I bet this story is just what some accountant out there needs to hear.
