I think esp is somehow affiliated with schector . but there is a difference between a 900 $ guitar and a 2000 $ guitar that’s all I am presenting. thanks for your input have a great day

@KWM1972 they aren't affiliated except for they are both top quality schecter guitar's just have something different going on it's really hard to explain it's like something mystical and magical in a way, it's strange but I like it. Schecter guitars make me sound better than what I really am and that's why I like them so much no other guitars do that for me. You will know what I mean if you get one.

I am not sure I haven’t played them but I heard the Epiphone stuff is really good. the Wilkinson pickups are great imo maybe I need to do a comparison video with Gibson, Epiphone, and a few others

Yea i don’t mind paying the extra to get the real gotoh tuners you can get cheaper ones on amazon from a reputable company i don’t use alli express but let me know when you get them

@@KWM1972 I have a st type body I am about to finish and I am considering staining, using wipe on shellac sealer, multiple coats of boiled linseed oil then finishing with woood balsam. What are your toughts?

@WTF-pn7zt just use the tru oil its really easy but looks great i like it better than linseed oil but schellac is great too it lays down great but the tru oil is easy and looks awesome imo

Its defiantly better than a squire i haven’t reviewed a epiphone guitar yet but i heard they were pretty good. but i have to say of the cheap Chinese built guitars this a good one

@@KWM1972 well i knew i wanted an allrounder that could shred and everything else guess i made the right purchase kinda disappointed i didnt get a js12 cuz that thing has 24 frets instead of 22

Yes I agree this is my first ESP even thought it’s a Chinese’s made guitar it’s way better than the others .I am looking into a Japanese made ESP for the channel, and look for the upgrades videos I am making them now. thanks for commenting and watching. have a great day

Dinky means it’s smaller than a fender Stratocaster body it’s very common on super strats too

The faraday cage is mainly for single coil pickups there is a magnetic field when you plug in your guitar so since there is only one coil single coil pickups have more noise. And the faraday cage basically contains the noise and keep out outside frequency’s in the pickups and electronics. so if you have hum-bucker pickups you don’t need shielding because there are 2 coils This cancels out and they are much quieter. As for the electronics you should always have a cage because they are sensitive to outside frequency’s and the cage helps shield and keep noise out this helps the electronics stay quieter. Yes you can remove the finish its a lot of work you might want to finish the school project first then remove the finish 👍

Do you mean grain filling ? The product is grain fill you can get it in different colors it helps seal the wood and give it a even surface its very useful in woodworking .
