Thanks for the video! Christmas baking: Coconut macaroons (not those fancy little sandwiches, just baiser heaps) and butter cookies for rolling out, attacking with different cookie cutters and decorating before or dipping into dark chocolate after baking. And a very German one: Vanillekipferl. Love them, but they are a lot of work and not the type of work you can excite children for. It's a very buttery dough with ground almonds or hazelnuts and you form tiny crescent moons out of the well chilled dough and turn each of them in vanilla sugar while they are still hot. If you have a good recipe they'll melt away on your tongue. Here you can buy moulds for them but actually it makes a noticable difference if they are hand formed from cold firm dough or if room temperature dough is just pressed into a mould. The lazy version still is good enough though. They are usually the ugly ducklings in every christmas cookie tin, but sooooooooooo good.

Chipotle is so overrated but homemade, I can get onboard with. Looks wonderful! I do have to agree on your music. It is very loud and I found myself turning volume up and down between talking and music.

I would not throw away the chickpea water (aquafaba)--use a hand mixer and whip it and it makes whipped cream...best wishes, dts/usa

Hi.i was watching your haul. You right about the egg.i buy good ones.the yolk color change.thats why i buy from whole foods.pasture one. That ground beef you brought from Aldi's they cheating us to 3oz instead of 4oz for the same amount. Every package i buy i put on food scale. It's off one oz. I was just letting you be aware of. You just can't trust nobody that not born again according to our lord Jesus Christ.

Great haul! I tend to focus my organic purchasing on more processed food. I figure fruits and vegetables are healthy, especially washed and soaked. But for more processed things, organic will leave out a lot of the nasty preservatives and things that would otherwise be in there.

Also, on chili, you can eat it on anything -- rice, spaghetti, baked potatoes, french fries, etc. Try chili on top of a few crushed corn chips with cheese on top for a Frito chili pie.
