The first one - sounds like she's very insecure and she's formed an addiction to copying his ex. I think if she could discuss it with him it would resolve a lot. I don't think there's a danger. Maybe she's had trauma and finds it difficult to know who she is, and this is a way of coping. If it were more dangerous, I think there would have been big red flags over the last 9 years.
