I'm calling it now. Waymo (the robo-taxi company) with a remix of Harry Belafonte's Day-o... "Waymo comes 'cause we wanna go home." Just about writes itself.
True you know your getting old when your old playlists are being used in pharmacy commercials
It's painful 😂
You've slowly become one of my fav creators. Lemme go join that community u keep speaking of
Thank you so much for saying that! 🙏
Great analysis and insights!
Thank you for watching!
Great content! Here from LinkedIn
Please how did you start out as an advertising Copywriter What books, what courses did you take Help a beginner 🙏
I talk about how I got into it in my career path video! I was mostly self taught, so I didn't take any courses. But the books I found most helpful are in my Amazon link in the description. :) I'm also working on expanding my Stuff for Getting Started and Copywriting playlists to help newbies. So let me know what kind of videos/topics you'd find helpful!
In Lidl they made advent calendars this year... using AI. They look creepy and I just cannot wrap my head around it
Noooo, not the AI art 🤦♀️
Love The video! The Aldi cat treat one is terrible, unless they've updated it. I got one 2 years ago and they were all the same treat and my cats hated them. Neither of my 2 cats would even touch them. There should be SOME variety IMO.
Oh no!! That's super lazy to just have the same treat. 😩
@StuffAboutAdvertising right haha! My one cat isn't even picky either, she'll pretty much eat anything and she wouldn't even try it haha! Hopefully they've updated it since then!
Loving your content! Please keep posting new videos. I’d love to see more about creating compelling presentations, especially tips on crafting concept-building slides. What’s the best way to present a film idea, including storyboards and references? I’d really value your perspective on this. If you could also share an example from a deck you’ve worked on, that would be amazing!
@@AHMEDMOSTAFA77 thank you for watching! Those are all great ideas for future videos 🙌
Hot Ones is a perfect fit! 🔥Advent calendars seem best for multiple little samples (like the jams!). I gifted a whiskey one once with notes for each little bottle and it was a huge hit. Chanel could have been well received and even made repeat customers if they featured a palette of small scent samplers
@@matthewsawczyn6592 Samples are the kinds of calendars I like! I want to taste a bunch of different things instead of committing to big expensive versions of something.
This is what I do what I draw too, just kinda gets the vibes going.
Vibes are so important for the creative process!
Needed this 😫🙏
I'm new to advertising Copywriting and I'm almost done watching all your videos, thank you so much 👌
Thank you for watching! More videos to come. :)
Saw your story on ig -> pressed immediately

very insightful! and love that volkswagen ad framed on your wall
Thank you! I need to put more ads up back there! I want the whole wall covered with art and fun stuff. 🤗
Brilliant marketing
No Wendy’s need to bring the burbon bacon cheeseburger back pleaseee😢I beg
I would’ve liked an interview with the McDonald’s lady in the store.
Ex-McDonalds employee here, It’s not actually broken, it’s either the employees are being lazy or it’s time to be cleaned!
Actually Wendy's is out there trying to advertise Wendy's. Where I live at a bunch of Wendy's restaurants are closing down. They are just trying to do advertisements to get people to come to Wendy's
Where I live at McDonald's ice cream machine is always working when I go.
Another bonus is: Wendy’s doesn’t endorse and support an ongoing genocide 👍🏽🇵🇸✊🏽
There’s a TH-cam video about the reason why their ice cream machine is broken and it’s quite the rabbit hole. And they refuse to change it. Wild.
Yeah you're right. It's insane that the cleaning process takes soooo long.
They won’t switch ice cream machines the stubborn SOBs.
yeah, ray croc was a cheap wej and McDonald's is still cheap and zionist
@@Djkidkrazyx2x its partly that but its also actually the company that owns the machines doesn't give them the right to repair to they have to pay a lot to get a special worker out there to fix it
I work at McDonald's and it might just be bias but i think that McDonald's is just better. But i do get Wendy's from time to time
Wendy’s finally tightened up when they fixed their fountain drinks. Idk what it was about the yellow wrapper era, but the drinks were not good!
Wendy’s is just better too
No
Thanks for sharing! It's inspiring to hear this but also bitter sweet. I have most of these qualities, and would be SUPER excited to be doing this kinda work but i just CAN'T seem to get in. No one will give me a chance, I've been trying for a year so I'm now applying for regular jobs which is really depressing. Do i just keep sending my portfolio to agencies? Is my portfolio not good enough, or is it just saturated? I'm so lost right now. How do you get your foot in the door?
The job market is definitely tough right now. So sorry you're dealing with that! Definitely keep beefing up your portfolio as much as you can. Ask the places that you apply to for feedback. They may not reply, but if they do, it will be super helpful to know why you weren't considered for the job. Shoot for all size and type agencies. Traditional agencies have changed a lot over the years, so there may be more opportunity at smaller or more niche places that you have to dig to find. And try to attend networking events or industry events around you (or online). Networking sucks lol, but it's so necessary for this industry and someone you meet there may be your in for a job!
@StuffAboutAdvertising Oh wow, thank you so much for replying, I really appreciate it! Do you offer portfolio reviews? I'd be happy to hire you for a quick call to see if there's something I'm missing that's holding me back. If this is something you offer where can I reach you?
@@elharrop I have a private community with a space for portfolio reviews! It's called Internal Review. :) www.stuffaboutadvertising.com
Thanks for sharing, I think being a polymath is very normal not only for agency roles but for everything really.

WWE = NFL you've been warned
Your eyes is so beautiful 🙂
This video is gold, thanks for this !
So glad to hear that!
Looking at the video post and the view that you have. Seriously i have to say those number effected my judgement about the knowledge you throw through the video. I really underestimate about it. As i starting to teach about insights and the funny thing is i can't find a concrete explaination about it. It's funny that through all the videos that i have search and listen, at least your video explain clearest, it's about how you put together puzzle in your head and flare coming out. Just wanna say thanks for the video and i think we have same way of thinking.
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for sharing such insightful tips! I come from a visual background and am currently exploring this field more deeply. I'm also working on a series of interviews to help creatives in the Middle East break into the industry. I'd love to connect for a quick 15-minute Zoom call, if you're open to it, to gain some of your valuable insights. It would be incredibly helpful!
So glad you enjoyed the tips!
Thank you so much! I’ve been working as a producer in the industry for two years now, without a formal educational background, so this is exactly what I needed! Sending much love from Denmark!
