I had an entire den complete with adults and babies who had built a den underneath my travel trailer. . I Made it a point to be bear their den as possible with plenty of human activities without disturbing the den . So when they grew up , I fazed them out their ability to stay under my camper trailer were numbered . But I made the transition as easy as possible for them

they will take any animal that they can eat, small toy breeds of dog will be on the food list for these, end of they are a predator, same as badgers, and otters, the most dangerous of the 3 and they will take small terriers easily.

I was Barbecuing one night years back..... my cat came running by, then followed by a grey fox.....It stopped dead in its tracks then ran away in the other direction....I used to think that it was trying to "get" her.....but anymore I think that it was a "playful" experience......She (the cat) was a feral found inside a burn pile with no mother present.

The only thing that came up is that they match foxes by 1%! 99% of the Maine Coon matches with no other mammal on the Planet Earth.

Somebody just told me: "I've seen it too. Foxes are known cat killers, especially younger cats. They mob the cat taking it turn to attack, wearing the cat down if it can't escape. I intervened. Lucky cat lost one of its lives."

They are starting to hunt cats in packs now in Orpingtom, nr London.

I wish Americans would make their videos remembering that there's more to the World than just the United States. For e.g. in this video instead of mentioning the names of months of when things happen (like mating and pregnancy etc) why not mention the names of the seasons? for e.g. you could have said that Foxes usually mate around the end of winter to early spring (if correct). Instead, you say X Month to X Month. Anyone outside of North America would have to do some kind of Conversion. Its one thing to have to constantly check timezone differences for Americans, but having to convert season by month is a little more tricky, especially when some countries dont set there seasons the same way. Please Think outside of America! Do it for me, do it for yourself. your videos will be all the more popular. that is of course assuming its relevant to the rest of the world. Unless of course, the United States is the only country with Foxes? Good Luck All.

A lot of people are mentioning Gray Foxes taking cats; These are likely being mistaken for coyotes, which look very similar but are larger and hunt both foxes and cats

"they bite, they scratch, they damage things, and they poop and pee everywhere" So basically just my cats

in the last 3 months more than 40 cats have been killed by foxes in our complex. now there is only 1 adult cat and 7 kittens because she just gave birth. i don't know how to save these new cats from foxes. because foxes can overcome all obstacles.

They will keep 2 dens in case they have to move the kits away from predators

We have a den of gray foxes living on our property. Two adults and 5 kits. I was wondering how to tell the difference in male vs female gray foxes….amount of red in the gray coat, the body size difference etc. Also do they mate for life and return to the same den location each year. This is the second year we’ve had a fox family living on our property and really enjoy watching the kits playing in the yard and on our porch. We do not feed them so they can learn their life skills naturally.
