hey there! yeah this is specific to the drum editor mode in Studio One even when you select multiple note pitches/elements it will only show and edit (in the velocity window) the notes of the highest note pitch. it is different and works as expected in the piano roll mode so I am sure it is a bug and not a desired behavior. so when you need to view the values you might quickly switch to the piano roll view for that. if you only want to change all the velocities you can edit them all at once using the shortcut and moving your mousewheel/pad up and down. I am not using the default Studio One keyboard shortcuts so I don't know yours but for me it is cmd+alt and mouse up/down to change all notes. default might be cmd or strg or alt or multiple and mouse drag. do you know what I mean? love from germany!

Hm, I hope they fix that bug, because it really slows down my drum programming workflow having to switch back and forth from the piano roll to the drum editor. Love from Canada!

hi! which e-kit are you using? if you are using a roland td-17 for example we have a preset for that which you can use with our plugin version to remap on the fly: www.midiremap.com/plugin

I think you are getting something completely wrong :-) monthly subscription cancel it anytime for unlimited plugin version and unlimited of everything online. or a single usage code for a single action (1 conversion or 1 download). or a long term access key for plugin only use. inform and understand before you hate :-) love from germany! cheers!

when using our online converter the way would be to adjust the corresponding differences after loading two presets. but we are trying to add custom presets for some of the popular sdx expansions which would be "death & darkness" and "progressive foundry" any other suggesstions?

the "get good drums groove player/midi pack format" is correct but only if you want to drag/put the midi grooves directly on your invasion midi track. I assume you are you also using the ggd groove player inside invasion, right? if so there is no need for conversion at all. it will do the conversion process automatically.

hey michael! first you will have to know the note mapping of your alesis machine, e.g. kick = C1, snare = D1 and so on. do you already have this information? if so you should be able to do this yourself: go to midiremap.com and grab our pdf version for the beat buddy note mapping ("Download Drum Maps"). then instead of loading presets inside our online converter click the "Map Notes" tab. you will then have to manually choose the correct corresponding note from the pdf for all your alesis sr-18 notes. any further questions or if you really need us to do a custom job for this just write an email to mail@midiremap.com with the mentioned note info for the alesis. love form germany!

I get how you feel like though we have to say that there simply is not a real standard (GM standard is outdated) and competitors working together to make their customers lifes easier is simply not a thing that will ever happen :-) further there is no good or bad way for a mapping, it's a matter of taste like guitar string gauge. love from germany

After some trial and much error, I discovered the Addictive drums recording was converted to GM using that mapping. So when I tried applying this, even after changing the Benny Grebb settings to GM, it just won't work. So I guess my main beef now is any old recording I was hoping to use now has to just be re recorded that used GM. Not sure when manufactures are NOT just using GM mapping more? But anyway, thank you! @@mkaudiostuff

Nevermind, found your little "I hate Pro Tools" comment on the download page. That's a shame.

hi john! we don't hate pro tools, it simply is hard/complicated for small plugin developers to get into their game: we have an awesome vst version of our plugin which can be used inside pro tools using tools like "blue cat" which allow you to load vsts inside pro tools. we have a tutorial scheduled made by a pro tools user who easily got MidiRemap to work in pro tools. it simply is not our priority right now! absolutely nothing wrong with using pro tools, just hard for devs to create that extra AAX versions and pay money to avid for this :-) love from germany!
