Cruise contacts are ignored like every othee receipt people get. People throw away receipts and try to return items to stores only to cry when they can only get store credit. People ignore the cruise contract stating they can change or even remove ports. Pitching a fit over something you agreed to in your purchase shows the maturity level of an adult.

I was on the Paradise April/May and the water bottle was not there.

Keep in mind this is a LNG ship. This is just a guess, because it LNG there is probably a procedure to cut the fuel supply to the engines for any number of reasons. The last thing you want is a fire to come in contact with an LNG supply line and potently cause I real explosion.

Must people have no concept of time. With it being 3 minutes Must people think its 20. Also people make up stories to add drama.

Thanks CHRIS, NOW this is scary with somewhere around 10,000 crew and passengers on board a disaster waiting to happen. FROM other reports there was a small fire in the engine room. Good thing it was at the dock and not at Sea.

Oh yeah and wasn’t the Icon of the Seas the ship that had a water sprinkler system malfunction on board the very first cruise it went on with passengers? The fire suppression sprinklers went off in the promenade and made a big mess. At least we know it works great but hmm, 🤔 maybe it needs some more looking into the matter.

Sounds like maybe there’s an automated fire protection system. If a fire happens close to some critical infrastructure, power will be pulled until they put out fire. One good thing out of this is they were safely docked in Costa Maya and not out in open water or on rough seas.

Fire was extinguisher without significant injuries or loss of life. I'm not an expert so can only guess emergency shut down was done as a precaution in case fire spread. It takes time to fully restart following a shutdown and not everyday go smoothly during a restart.

The TV is only used for Cruise ship CCTV, weather, GPS, and to wind me down to sleep.

Lmao... Who watches TV on a cruise??? Hahahaha. Only channel we watch is the one that shows where the boat is, oh, and I look at my charges on it! Hahahaha.I do read sometimes and always download 4 or 5 books so I have plenty to chose from.

That is something I really don't do I will check my account and watch the navigation channel or the deck camera cam to see where were going or what going on in the port. but never have watch a movie or show on a ship TV.

Why do people go on cruises to watch television? Thats a lot of $ and effort to do what you can do at home.

We rarely watch TV on a cruise. Possibly a movie in the evening. There's this little technology thing called a DVR that can record stuff while we're gone if it's a can't miss show. If it's really important news, it will be heard around the ship.

We use the TV for noise when We are getting ready to go out for the Night .. You can always Lay Home and watch the TUBE ..

Watching what I missed on Wednesday. We had two Carnival ships in Cabo, each holds 4K passengers, it was a mad house trying to get a tender. By the time we actually got off, we had 3.5 hours in port.😮. I do not want to cruise on the RCCL ships, I can’t image what it would be like.

Interesting but only for those with high flexibility in reaction time (could get call 2 days prior). Also no insurance program will cover if you get called and can't go. Only question I have and have not gotten answer from HAL is how far out can one book these cruises?

1. We just got back today from a week long cruise. There were A LOT of kids running around and stealing stuff from the mail boxes and the door decoration. I have noticed over the years that the kids are getting more and more snotty and self absorbed. I cannot wait to be able to cruise during the off season. 2. We do our best to get info on parking at every terminal. We have used quite a few parking areas that are away from the terminal. 3. You may have to put on an adult diaper to make it at that port. 4. I prefer to have chopsticks when I eat Oriental food. If my child NEEDED chopsticks to eat I would have brought them. Either disposable ones or a nice set of metal ones. I have a great set made of bronze!

A day late watching... Was weeding at 630 AM yesterday! The first cool day in 2 weeks! 1. Expect some kids on EVERY CRUISE! So many are being home schooled nowadays, even when school is in session, there will be some. When we lived in Vegas, my kids went to year round school. It was awesome because they got about a month off at time. One in all 4 seasons!!! Summer is HOT in Vegas. Too hot to go to the park or even step outside. School had AC. Kids were nice and cool. Point is, kids are on every cruise. (Unless you go on an adult line like Virgin.) In the summer, or during traditional school breaks (xmas, Spring break, Thanksgiving) there will be MANY KIDS. Especially on a FAMILY cruiseline. It shocks me how stupid people are. 2. Why would Carnival know the clearance of a parking structure at a HOTEL? LOL!!! I can't even... I am dying laughing. Reminds me of the ahole that blamed Carnival for not knowing what the person's cell provider charged for roaming/international travel and did not inform them. IDIOTS!!! Oh and 99%? I think not! Lol. The only thing I find exasperating is folks like the OP that actually make comments like this! 3. Again really??? HTF can you almost platinum/ Diamond and NOT know there might not be public restrooms at the port? Especially in small tendered ports? I call BS. Either you are a first time cruiser or you are lying.Why does the line need to announce this prior to booking or even at all? I dont actually do a search for bathroom videos on all ports we will visit, but I do search for what to do at port, food, fun, etc. With Google you have the power to instantly have info on any port! Lololol. I would bet $$$ it would be mentioned by people on videos about the ports! Ohhhhh, and is that really a deal breaker? If you went to a hotel, would you expect the front desk to tell you prior to making the reservation that a nearby beach doesn't have public restrooms? No? Oh, but a cruise line should??? I personally have never booked a cruise based on potty availability. 😂😂😂😂WTF is wrong with people. I am still shocked by the BS people complain about. It's unbelievable! I am angered and amused by these morons. On the bright side, maybe these small complaints will be enough to keep them off the ships in the future? It's not likely, but we can hope! 😂

Thanks again as always. Back from the Carnival Breeze out of Galveston. Maybe I should complain to Carnival because they didn't do a better job controlling the weather on our cruise.

We always do an internet search for the ports of call for tourist maps. Lots of good information found.

I could see EXPECTING chopsticks if the cruise was going out of an Asian country, but I assume this was an American cruise. What an odd thing to expect. I can't imagine what sort of disability, or differently-abled person, would require them to have to eat with chopsticks, as opposed to a fork or spoon. But if that's the case, the parent should have certainly made sure their child had what he needs packed in their suircases!

The chop stick issue isn't the child's fault or problem it's been allowed and created by the parents. Some people just shouldn't be parents.

I'm with you, Chris. Their price gouging is based on the assumption that a second passenger will spend money. I know for a fact that this isn't the case. I cruise solo because when traveling with others, they never wanted to do anything. They didn't do Specialty Dining and tours. There was zero onboard spending. No spa or shops purchases. They purchased a drink occasionally but largely stuck with freebies. They shared a day of internet the last night of the cruise. While I prepaid for high speed for the entire cruise and spent on art and spa treatments. My single solo cruising self will normally spend more than a family of four. NCL and Carnival, here I come. Celebrity and Royal can kick rocks. I will not be paying any cruiseline in excess of 200% of the base fare because they think they might have made an extra $75 in drinks from a second passenger.

My fellow Mericans: We're not subject to Royal entitlement on the ship. Do your research, plan ahead and use common sense SMH!!

OK Chris the chopsticks case goes to the front of the line, never would I think someone would complain about Chopsticks lol. It's amazing what people can find to complain about made my day.

Bring your own chopsticks wow, is your carryon so full that you can’t put a few packages of chopsticks in there? No no, we have send John Heald a rude little email demanding something and calling the staff rude? Man oh man. Think people. If your too lazy to pack your child’s chopsticks then I guess your too lazy to send the cruise line ambassador a polite message BEFORE you leave for your cruise asking nicely if the dining room manager could set you up with some free chopsticks for every meal. That’s what John wound up doing in the end anyway. Thank goodness he’s so generous and willing to help even the rudest laziest people on a cruise ship. Do some research especially if you know it’s going to a remote location. SMH.

I'm what is called an " over preparer " if I'm going on a trip anywhere I do a lot of research on the places I am going to and the ship I am traveling on. This I how I found your TH-cam page doing cruise research 😂. Love the video as always first thing I watch with my coffee every Saturday morning.

How useless and Entitled can people be? Do some freaking research, plan on where you need to park and for God sake if your kid only eats with chopsticks bring your own freaking chopsticks.
