Welcome to my channel! Adrian here.
As a recent MBA graduate, I have created this channel to share my experience and adventures to support potential candidates, who are either thinking of applying for an MBA or who were accepted at several schools, but don't know which school or location to go to.
I graduated from IESE Business School in Barcelona and spent part of my 21-month journey at Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Hence, I was able to compare both worlds down to the smallest detail.
So, if you are currently exploring MBA programs, you might find this content very useful, insightful, informative and hopefully entertaining.

I am working as a SAP Consultant in IBM India for 4 years. Do you think an European 1 year or 15 month MBA can help me to land a job in Europe and also help me to settle there ?
Hi! While there is never a guarantee that you will find a job in Europe after your MBA, your chances are significantly higher if you do your MBA somewhere in Europe. It also comes with a visa. I hope that helps
Thanks for such an informative video, I am a graduated Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. I want to upgrade my education and skills, so which stem course would be better aligned with my career growth. I need your suggestion.
Thank you! 15 years is a lot of experience. You might want to consider getting an Executive MBA at this stage because for traditional MBA degrees, people have 3-5 years of work experience. I would choose a program that is in line with your career goals, in a location you want to end up living. I hope that helps
Hello, between -MBA at Stevens institute of technology -MBA business analytics concentration at NYIT -MS of business analytics at Baruch which one do you think it’s better in regards of curriculum design, job opportunities after graduation and internship programs? could you advice please?? Thank you so much 🙏
Hi Diana. It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a more technical and specialized MBA program with a strong analytics focus, Stevens Institute of Technology is likely the better choice. If you prefer a more generalist MBA with a concentration in data analytics and a global outlook, then NYIT could be a good fit. I hope that helps
Hi adrian i have offer letter from esade, cbs and rotterdam which one should i go for i am looking forward for my growth in consulting?
Hi and congrats for your offers. All are great schools. It ultimately comes down to where you want to end up living and working as hiring takes place locally. Overall though, ESADE has the strongest brand out of those three schools
I have 6+ years of experinece in Tech Recruiting. Worked with Nokia , MichaelPage , Hitachi. What do you think which course is most aligned with my role ? And can give max ROI ? Will highly appreciate your response.
Hi. I would do a General Management MBA Program rather than a specific one, unless you want to remain in the Recruiting space and want to move to Egon Zehnder or Robert Half, for which you wouldn't even need an MBA.

Is there any MBA that’s related to social work entrepreneurship corporate social responsibility line ? I wish to be social entrepreneur please share your thoughts!
Almost all leading business schools in the US as well as in Europe at least, have added ESG and CSR elements to their curriculums. Some more, some less. Some even have multiple specific electives around these topics.
Finally, it costs less to study in the US rather than in Europe

Hi, if you want to go back to school now, I would advise you to go with a Masters in Finance. You should get more years of work experience under your belt before you apply for an MBA. I hope that helps
Hi Adrián, Greta video! What are the top 5 2 year MBA in Europe?

Question, can a Paralegal with 6 jobs in 8 years have a shot at getting into these schools? My friend took the GRE and scored a 330.
Hi Mike. Well, you definitely need a Bachelor's degree to begin with. That's an absolute must for every top-tier school. I am sure there are regional schools that are ok with you not having a undergrad degree, but generally you need to have some prior higher education. I hope that helps
@adrianbruno-mba Respectfully, my friend received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2016.
@@Mikebuddy2229 In that case, your friend should definitely go for it. I would still apply to a bunch of schools to hedge my risk. I have made a video on how to save on application costs. Might be worth watching to save some money. Good luck!
Love the insights!! Thanks!
Your stats and salary figures for MBA grads from prestigious B schools are way off. Why would top consulting firms pay those MBA graduates $200k+ and up to 100% annual performance bonus? Their new hires only have book knowledge of broad business management principles and zero leadership and real world experience. It’s also not financially sustainable for those companies to overpay their MBA hires. You’re full of bologna, Coach!
Lol! You can look up any source on the internet, consulting firms (at least the big 3 - McKinsey, BCG and Bain) are fairly transparent about their compensation, that’s how they attract the best talent
I'm a young entrepreneur with a tuition company and now an EdTech company (startup). I have 4 years of proper experience through age 16-20 but I have never been employed. I've generated more income than some graduate roles offer though, annually. As a result, I have saved up enough money to do an MSc or an MBA. I graduate next year with a major (bachelor of science) in Actuarial Science. I'm looking into an MSc in Finance, but am not sure whether it would be better to do an MBA. I'm just not sure how to move on forward with my career. I want to study more since my career is focused on education and consultancy. I want to continue building my startup and study. What is better for me - an MSc or an MBA? Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Adam. Even though you have great experience, I think you are a little bit too young for a top-tier MBA. I am sure you could make it into a lower tier MBA program, but I am assuming that is not what you are aiming for. Unless you sold your company for a couple of million dollars and have proof of that, it will be tough to be accepted for an MBA at a leading business school. With that in mind, I would rather do an MSc in Finance. Another option would be to find a job a company with a strong brand, maybe in Tech or EdTech, work a couple years and then apply for a top-tier MBA program. I hope that helps!
@@adrianbruno-mba I really appreciate your response. Thank you sir.
hey adrian! amazing video as always! but what do you thing about the george washington university program? is as good as those from the video?

Hello i am a paediatrician looking to work in the humanitarian field with early trauma response, i thought of sn MBA because i think the goal requires a sustainable solution that doesn't rely solely on aid. Do you think an MBA will be good and where? Am considering slian MIT, Stanford, Carey and Columbia, aldo need to get a school with more scholarship options. I guess my focii are entrepreneurship, startup, analysis, data, and alumni.
Hi, not sure if an MBA is the right thing for you given your goal. An MBA will teach you the fundamentals of doing business. You might want to look into MPH (Master of Public Health) programs. Harvard has a great one for example. It's a growing field and more and more schools are offering this. You should take a look into it
@@adrianbruno-mba I have looked into the mph and I have been admitted into John's Hopkins for next year intake. However I want to look at the aid disparity in a business format and the fact that the strain of dealing with trauma and it's resulting consequences, too many to list, is something that can't be easily dealt with without having a more sustainable and business oriented model. I think when a war crisis for example happens no one knows how long it will last, and most of the responses are for basic needs, however it does end and life has to go on, but that exposure to so much adversity ib childhood has far reaching negative outcomes and when i think of an MBA i want to learn the business aspect and in the future realise this goal. I don't expect to do this immediately but I love business and think of all aspects as a transaction of sorts, asking for help isn't the solution, resolving the problem with as with a business is how i want to go about it. The mph is basically to get the credibility, some research skills and a platform, the MBA if I can get consulting work and slowly accumulate skills for my desired goal, plus a network, combining the two will make it easier to create proposals, and maybe contribute to what is already existing. What do you think about this. I am not looking to only do the giving, I also would like financial freedom for myself especially if my goal is to be achieved I need to be adept in financial matters so my own situation doesn't hold me back. ....
Insightful 👍🏻
Thanks! ☺

But situation somewhat changed as my last employer refused to give me an LOR. Now since I am carrying a few years of experience in marketing, do you think I should straight up go for an MBA or still consider a specialist masters degree? My total years of relevant marketing experience is still less than 2 as of now.

Hey Adrian, I agree that US business schools are the best in the world, but long term living in the US post completion of an MBA is very difficult for international students considering the H1-b visa rules. Which MBA do you think is the best for Indian international students considering a long term goal of network and settlement?
Hi Pavan, if I was a prospective MBA student from India, I would go to the top 20 US schools, because they are known, not only locally but also internationally, and they attract many more global companies that sponsor international students. But generally, it's always a risk for international students.
Great content man!
