    I really appreciate the “feel” element of this. I shoot on a7cii for street and use a7iv for work, and I just feel like I’m taking my work out when I should be shooting for fun. One concern I have with this is weather sealing - have you ever used in rain (uk here) and have you had any issues? Thank you so much for the content! 👏

    what you say is true, fuji is a camera with a soul, build for photographers. while Sony is a computer, build to do its job. as a owner of both camera, i enjoy shooting with fuji alot, but i got frustrated with the lowlight, dynamic range, not enough MP for editing and af when i need to do serious job. Otherwise, fuji is a good sub/b camera for you to just shoot for fun (less work) also, it is easier to edit fuji raw's color compare to sony's color. However, after using it for few years, i went back to sony when i need to do serious job.

    sony fuji user here. been using fuji at least 3 years. i change at least 3 fuji bodies before finalizing to xs20 (now) For 85mm equivalent, sigma 56mm hands down. just use the command dial setting no issue. (theres alot of fuji user disilke this lens because it has no aperture ring). If you have more budget, get the fuji WR 56mm for more bokeh and dof. the 23mm is easily my favourite focal length for everthing, from street to potraits. i use both 23 & 56mm (which is equivalent to FF 35mm & 85mm) I got bored of Sony's colour (older models back then) and constant heavy editing for the color. bought a fujifilm xt10 for fun and end up enjoying it so much.

    Hey i am interested in the camera for filming. I watched your videos on the overheating. I read a lot about it an i am a bit concerned that it is the wrong choice maybe. The video quality seems to be great also the sony alpha 6700 seems to have the same problem with overheating. From what i heard there might be firmware updates that helped with the problem. Also it seems like the choice of sd card might also effect the overheating. Is this still a big problem… should i still be concerned?

    Tip: The XC 35mm lens is half the price of the XF 35mm if you need a 35mm. The optics are the same but no aperture control ring which makes the lens look nicer. You can control the aperture with the front dial.

    Do you think it would be better to buy the Fujifilm X-S20 with the XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 kit lens, the 15-45mm lens (black), or just the camera body and then purchase a third-party lens? Which lens would you recommend for both video and photography that is still fairly compact?

    I shoot with an X-T5 mostly on Aperture priority or manual, but zone focused. My X-S20 Also usually aperture priority but I've started experimenting with auto mode and can see it being handy. I'll likely stick with aperture priority since I like to control for depth of focus so I'm getting bokeh when I want it, and not when I don't. That being said I think as long as the auto mode give you what you want there's no shame in using it. Composition is the most important thing to worry about so if using auto mode lets you focus more on making sure your composition is right and it doesn't get in your way why not use it?

      @Littlecritter5 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d say it really depends on your use. The XT5 is more photo oriented whereas the XS20 is a hybrid between photo and video. The XT5 has the new 40MP sensor so that will be a bit sharper on the images. If you want something for traveling, I love the size of the XS models. They just fit so well in the hand and are so powerful for how compact they are. Do with this info as you will haha.

So if you are gonna shoot 120fps for 5 minutes under direct sunlight then ok it may overheat. But under normal working conditions and holidays the camera will be fine.

    Reasonable points, Markus. IMO, we stress too much about style. Style organically develops and changes over time based on inspirations, preferences, and experience. Just let it happen. Kind of like flatulence😊. Kidding aside, think of style as an analog to personality; has to be natural. People can tell when it’s not. When objective viewers of a group of photos can identify the look, subject, and feel of the images and say “I like your style” rather than “I like that photo” then you have it. Think about famous painters. Cheers!

    I think it's important to not chase a specific style, or keep yourself limited to a certain subjects. Go out, shoot stuff, buildings, nature, people. Then evaluate. Did you like the experience? Which photos appeal to you the most? Let your style find you, then I think you will enjoy photography more.

      @@DimaStrangerSometimes I think that maybe if I did upgrade from the A6600 to A6700 I wouldn’t have noticed Fuji at all. But even if you did you will keep thinking about Sony Full frame options and then you will be shocked by the size and weight of the lenses specially the zooms and the low aperture ones. I still recommend Sony for professionals who are going to take mostly videos as this where Sony autofocus shines. Other than that it’s Fuji all the way. Once you experience Fuji colors you realize how bad Sony pictures were. Fuji pros colors, film sims, Xt4 beautifully videos, size, tactile user experience overall, kinda affordable great quality lenses (now I look back at the sharp Sigma/Tamron/Samyang and they are no way near fuji lenses and good luck with the G master prices), weight of the camera and the lenses.

When I sent them to him SOOC, the first thing he said “Such a nice colors, have you edited them”. This is a typical Sony user in a nut shell. However he will beat me in the video Autofocus/Tracking. At the start he didn’t trust the size of the tiny 50mm F2 😅
