If you have the nanites i would recomend getting max X class modules. My DPS is 54k on the infraknife. I have 2 max x class and the 3rd is 1% off of perfect

Neutron Cannon is insane. I have well over 30K damage. Best weapon in my opinion.

My current load out on a single S-Class multitool, with everything maxed out: (a) Blaze Javelin for sniping creatures at long range, (b) Neutron Cannon for general combat, and (c) Paralysis Mortar to keep Sentinel Walkers & Quads in a stunned state while I melt 'em with the cannon. The cannon is able to kill most enemies with 1-3 shots, and is particularly good for double-tapping the pulsating pods on derelict freighters. First shot bursts open the pod, and second shot takes out all the disgorged critters.

I have a couple of sentinels. I put positron ejectors on both of them as the main weapon. To me it's just too good to not use. Not only is it doing a ton of damage, but went on planets you can also use it to harvest material in mass amounts, especially if you have a sentinel ship that can have her in place. The other sentinel ship I have is one of my wingmen. I did minimal upgrades to it to max it out rather than just giving it everything I could give it like my main ship. Then I traded it to an NPC before hiring that NPC, lol

i get your preference, but i gotta go with the Position Ejector, when you primarily fly a hauler that spread really makes a difference.

They need to give haulers or shuttles a real mining laser to go into asteroids fields and mine multiple asteroids or increase yield and also give them a hover ability for planets to mine the metal and mineral deposits again with higher gains as no one really flies them unless forced to in expeditions.

My go-to strategy is to weaken w/ infra-knife, then go for the kill with rockets,

My chosen armament is the beam and ejector; shotgun for rapid melting and beam to recharge my shield when fighting multiple enemies (I hate manually recharging)

I use nutron canon. On Atlas staff, i have 56000 damage. Just for nutron Canon

Infra knife is the best hands down, folloved by interceptors special "photon cannon".

I don't know if it's just a console thing but when I was using the blaze javelin it kinda just didn't hit. Probably because I wasn't charging it but also the lock on for the corrupt spider sentinels always hit the ground under it. Also I think using ammo is better than carbon because it only takes a little bit of ferrite dust to make and often it will last you a long time.

I use a fighter (Simply for cool custom appearance), a living ship, an exotic, and a solar ship. Love them all.

I like to use the Phase Beam because it actually recharges your own shield with the shield of your enemies which is nice if you are fighting multiple enemies at once

I find photon cannon for shields, ejector for hull, a quick kill duo.

I love having multiple weapons on the ship, but cycling through them is such a chore

You’re also forgetting that each weapon has a dedicated purpose The cyclotron is mainly for taking down shields, the phase beam also does similar except it leeches it to recharge your own shields. I mainly run cyclotron ballista + infra knife

I swear my infra knife broken, it does no damage to non shielded enemies and only to shielded ones

4:40 okay but in the mid-late game there is no reason to have such a big starship cause at this point you would probably have decent A-S rated freighter with matter teleporter, so... to me, hauler is useless

My multitool has every single weapon on it. I figured that’s what everybody did as well as every upgrade and every sentinel and X upgrade

You can take out the shields on a Sentinel Interceptor very easily with just the proton cannons, and then quickly switch and fire the rocket launcher to instantly kill the Sentinel and/or any other ship with its shields down. This is also the *’starting technology’* of any starting ship for a new save. So, unless you want to pair the space shotgun that can shred hulls with the space ballista that can tear through shields, just from the start you can very quickly and easily dispatch most enemy fighters with just protons and rockets. Just remember to craft some starship batteries for when your own shields get low. Especially against a Sentinel Dreadnought.

Pulse spitter plus the paralyze cannon was it? is for a lazy guy like me who like to dish out sentinels while being lazy with the aim LOL

I can't choose.. got beautiful sentinel ships and just got a living ship.. and I have 2 beautiful exotics and an amazing fighter... also got an explorer that reminds me of Boba Fett's ship... I switch ships like every day I play

when upgraded to max i think the infraknife kills the fastest like within 1-2 seconds if you can keep shots on point

Early game the scatterblaster combined with the cloaking device is great bang for your buck. Enemies will basically never register you long enough to get a shot off if you cloak every time you reload which helps massively with survivability. Later on it seems the boltcaster is pretty godly if you can find some good sentinel and x class mods as the sentinel mods get the bonus with it. It becomes almost a burst sniper/smg with better accuracy.

nice, i have two ship setups already both sentinel ships. one uses positron ejector for about 30k dps to shields then rocket launchers to 1 tap ship and the other ship uses infra knife overclocked to the max so it is always just a beam. I'm just floating around space with a c-ram in NMS lol

I’ve ran the Infra-Knife and Positron Ejector and I’ve had no want or need for anything else. For enemy ships, Positron shots until I overheat, then switch to Infra to finish them off (if they weren’t dead already). For freighters/“boss” ships, the Infra melts everything

My first exotic landed on my base landing pad 15 seconds after i made it 😂 of course i bought it

if you put the accuracy boosting upgrade for the positron onto a supercharge slot, it may become accurate enough with enough range to really be an insane choice, especially if all supercharge slots are close by for a huge positron boost

i imagine a good combo is cyclotron and infra knife, with a rocket launcher in the mix too just for some variety ive never used the cyclotron though but i love my infra knife. only problem is the auto pilot combat aiming is terrible with it and it leads too far ahead so you have to manual aim
