On Saturday, August 31st, 2024, I made a visit to Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association in Mechanicsburg, PA for the second to last day of their 66th Annual Steam Show, which featured a wide variety of steam traction engines, tractors, and of course 0-6-0 Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive #643!
This was my second visit to Williams Grove and their annual steam show, and just like last year it did not disappoint! However, this year I focused the video primarily on #643, which recently received a brand new paint job and looks nice and refreshed!
I'd like to give a big thank you to the Williams Grove Railroad for maintaining 643 and operating it during this event, as well as Colin and Tom, who were the crew during my cab ride for the day as engineer and fireman respectively. It was an awesome ride and I look forward to my next visit!
