"IM MAKIN A COMBO VIDEO - COMBO VIDEO!"
It's definitely NOT a diamond in the rough. It's at best OK, like 5 or 6 out of 10. Having played it in the arcade (albeit very briefly), Capcom Fighting Jam had its fun moments, even if it was unbalanced as heck and the SF2 characters had very little going for themselves compared to the Alpha, Darkstalkers or SF3 characters. I'm not sure having a bigger roster would've made it a better game necessarily, but it certainly wouldn't hurt. As an arcade game, I don't think it was terrible by any means, but it had a very short shelf life. As a console title however, it was a hard game to recommend. The game was rushed, and it shows. Given another 6 months with a bigger roster and more polish , it could've been actually promising. The problem is considering Capcom themselves had set the gold standard for crossovers with MVC2 and CVS2, CFE was their equivalent of SVC Chaos (which at least SVC tried to make all the characters look consistent). Plus NeoGeo Battle Coliseum came out only months after CFJ, and it was by far a superior crossover game, even if it had its own balance and roster issues.
It did suck
Thank you bro you explained it so well faster than any big youtuber
Man when it comes to Skullgirls, I know from experience that early on and before Encore dropped you go online and it was ALL the people you saw at tournaments. My first week I played almost all household name Skullgirl players and an EVO champ. They were all COOKING! People just be talking and thats a fact. If it's not the big three people just assume it's somehow scrub city. Gitta give props when its due. Sonic was also one THE best in DoA. Matter a fact he and his older brother Skiggles were maybe top 1 and 2 in that game at a point.
fighitng jams is what we all want not realizing how broken it would be. let a crossover and have the chars play exactly from their game and i love it. the revers of bb tag. wich i also love. but alot of peps did not like their char playing mad difrent
Valid point, this actually great take on the game. An actual official Mugen fighting game release
them kids need to stay at their lane / Daigo is the goat
The thing is. The people who seem to win big tend to be character specialist. Juri was on nobody radar last Capcom cup. In a sea of Luke, Ken, DJ, and JP a Juri main emerged. Sure Punk won Evo with Cammy. Arguably his main. So I actually think it’s worth it to optimize a single character. This isn’t like SF4 or ST where some characters had 7-3 matchups. Every matchup is winnable even if your character has a slight disadvantage
Great vídeo bro. Honestly back then I was like "sonic needs to lose already," now im like bro thats the goat. The 2 main reasons why people dislike him is because he's an mk player and because of the lgbtq+ furry stuff he brings in when he wins. There's still people out here that hates that stuff.
Hard to respect someone wearing a sex fetish outfit on stage
Well, he asks for it
I don't think people are really debating his skill thats not why people don't like him. It's mostly him bringing his LGBT+furry views up all the time. The equivalent of me yelling out "im black" all the time just because i live around white people.
Definitely miss the old days. Full Bar Live is gonna pull through. The process is slow but I see the growth. Can’t wait it’s in / weeks!
How are ya Matt?
@@TVFGC doing good man, just finishing up scheduling for the tournament. Crazy busy for sure.
The people running these local events need to know how to run these things first. Unfortunately, as with all FGC stuff, everyone does the "monkey see, monkey do" philosophy of work and think it's going to work out for them. And quite frankly, there aren't enough business minded people in this community.
knaw not realy if ANYTHING its the ooposite overated. the amouint of peopl that know him and uniraonicALY think hes is top or legend is crazy. and outdside of other reaosne peoplm dislike hime to me and the ogs it was always because he is an mk player and he sed it himself mk is free. wining DB F also pretty free. any rela fighter he tries he gets clapped for free. He is solid but he aint no legend. diago, dogura and ryan and far more impresive multi game playing champs.
This is crazy
I’m definitely a character loyalty die hard but if I was a professional I would not care because I’m tryna get the bag. But they seriously need to bring the bottom of this roster up to par with the rest of this roster. But I will say. When you’re not playing with a privileged character you learn a lot more and your fundamentals really get galvanized. That being said a character with actual tools in your hands because more of a threat.
0:10 shoutout to you man needed a vid like this
Does he play SF? Srsly I don’t know, just know him from the MK FT13 set lol 😂
I think they made it to Top 25 in the first SF6 major? But nah they don't play SF like that compared to Tekken
@@WalkBesideMe Tekken confuses me like no other FG lol.
Ints him not an Furry and into children?
That's your projection
I've never seen him being accused of being into children
In my opinion...they ask for it. It's his offline behavior and grandstanding that annoys people. I'd never say they're not great at fgs, but outside of them they rub ppl the wrong way.
Never heard this
@@TVFGC they're super cocky and annoying in their whole spouting "I'm a gay binary furry" every couple days. Like yo, we get it. No one cares about that. A friend of mine literally loathes them because of that....I get it. If I went into public spaces saying "Hey I'm queer" everytime ppl would get annoyed.
I think if he was White he’d be on billboards.
daigo inspired the top 4
Too much X Men characters...ok...then wtf are u adding X23 instead Ciclops, Cable or Gambit 😑. Nonsense
U know the man is The GOAT of tekken when people talk more about his losses rather than his victories ,nevertheless hats off to ulsan
fun fact Ulsan got $300k Atif got $140k
Arsalan Ash got $5k dollars
it is understandable. The only way for Arslan Ash to fall out of tournament was if his hands are tied.
Arslan has already reached the point . No one touching him.. He is Goat..
Well he got eliminated so he could be touched. Everyone loses eventually. Knee was unbeatable now people think he is irrelevant. That's the cycle of the fgc that's life.

Ulsan the best player in the world.
At this point can’t deny it
broken stick.😢
Unfortunate
There’s a new sheriff in town.
This is high caliber competition, ANYBODY can get cooked on the right day. The top 100 in this game can beat anyone, hell probably the top 1000, especially with T8 being so focused on oppression, and 50-50s. I recall Titan Thor (a super strong Feng player) eliminating Knee from a tournament a year or 2 ago. A couple of "unknown" Yoshi's have shown out in recent tournaments. A high level Lars dropped Qudans to losers earlier this year. And look at the killers in the top 20-30 - Rangchu, Knee, Jeondding, Ulsan, Chikurin, Meo Ill, Kane and Trench, Eyemusician, JDCR, "new comers" in Yagami and Keisuke(?), Joey Fury, Cuddle Core, Shadow, Anakin, Joe Crush, and I haven't even mentioned the Pakistan gods like the obvious - Arslan, Atiff, Khan, Bilal, Heera Malik, Tanveer, etc. The game at the tippy top of the mountain hase PLENTY of apex predators.
We agree. Just wanted to dive a little deeper
When you reach the top it is hard to stay motivated. That is why you see some Evo champs lose in other big tournament because what else is there to prove.
dude thinks he was top shit and didnt prepare enough for this tournament ; he thinks the money elsewhere will keep him aloat
While it was unfortunate that his stick broke it is also a reminder that even someone who won 5 evo with some perfect tournament runs can also be beaten
Yo why are people think he is attacking anyone. He is only saying shit happens
Exactly. Just observing and comparing history. Many make it seem like we are attacking the man. Not at all
I think there's something to this. So far the top three players from Evo have two already out. I think Atif is still in it, but I'm not sure. I saw him lose some matches, but I think he might be in losers right now. I know that Nobi seemed to struggle against a character that not too many people play. I think it was Jack 8. Jack can steam roll through people, especially if you're still trying to adjust to him, and best of three doesn't give too much time to adjust. Aslan's stick had a malfunction, but I thought it was kind of fishy because apparently he knew his stick had an issue but he played with it anyway. Did they fix it and he was just making an excuse? I don't know but it doesn't make too much sense to me to use a stick that he already knew had issues. Atif seems to be struggling a bit too. So if all three of them don't make it to top 8, then those were the top 3 from Evo who were kicked out before finals. Interesting subject, especially when you consider Punk lost too, as you said.
@@funkrates4778 There are videos on TH-cam showing his team mates opening his stick and trying to fix it. Because of this there was a technical delay as well during his match against Joendding. In my opinion, he should have carried an extra stick with him.
Arslan’s friends uploaded after that his stick malfunctioned and he had to use someone else’s. Still think the topic was worth looking into however
He got beaten by a better player twice thats about it.
@@jeomaxx7499 That's not about it. There is another reason. There are videos on TH-cam showing his teammates were trying to fix his stick. That lead to a technical delay as well during his match against Joendding. He tweeted this yesterday.
@@SalmanMalik-eo8uo well that's unfortunate if that's true still i saw arslan made clumsy mistakes jeonding is no joke bro he also sent Atif to losers bracket.
@@jeomaxx7499 Obviously full credit goes to Ulsan and Joendding for playing incredibly.
@@jeomaxx7499nah, Arslan still the better player, EVO still weight a lot more with those thousand participants he got handicapped in EWC by technical issues made him lost focus, like ur main/fav peripheral is basically ur life same with how Doujin lost focus coz he got stolen before EWC also EWC's format is wack, it should be round robin like TWT final
@@julieallen07 Buddy even the greatest is still human admit it man i recognize Arslan as the goat of tekken but you cant win everytime dont disrespect Jeonding and Ulsan they are a threat to Arslan anytime.
Arslan tweeted that his stick was malfunctioning, which is why he had to borrow Sajawal's stick during the matches. This likely explains why he was struggling with even the simplest combos and move inputs. Nonetheless, full credit goes to Ulsan and Joedding for their outstanding performance.
Reasons.
Yea that didn’t come out until after we posted. Didn’t see that prior
@@TVFGC Even pro make mistakes. Before they allow technical timeout next time. They should check the stick first just to validate the pause. If there's nothing wrong you should get DQ. Tekken 8 is a game of momentum. Struggling to make simple combo? Mental block.
And still lost
I don't think it's a big deal. Some World Cup-style tournaments are well-known for upsets. I'm not sure why, but it's pretty common if you watch football or soccer. Maybe it's the nerves? I also think it's because the tournament is highly competitive. Rangchu and Kkokkoma are also out, but I think they played well. In this high-level tournament, I think it's a matter of luck and who can commit few errors.
It’s not a big deal. Was just seeing if this was a pattern after EVO wins
Broken stick = broken dreams.
They didn’t upload the situation about the stick until after we did the video. Sucks that happened
So what's your point??? Look at the NBA or NFL. Winning before doesn't mean you win everything.
Do yall feel like this video is attacking Arslan or something?
@TVFGC it's just kind of weak. To place top 8 consistently in ANY game should be difficult. It shows a balanced game amongst monsters. But you gotta get views. It's a hustle
@@TVFGC lol I have to laugh at all the comments of people getting upset at you for making this video. I think this is a GREAT topic. People always talk about the Evo curse. I think it's a really interesting subject. Too many people living vicariously through others man. But whatever ... happens in sports all the time, so I guess it's expected here.
What's the big deal? He is human and still the champion.
Not a huge deal, just a topic to make a video on. Not the end of the world
its tekken 8, anyone still defending the format of T8 are lying to themselves and their audience. 1.T8 is still missing a good chunk of all the characters moves from T7 2.T8 has neutral block broken still but no one is talking about it 3.the amount of 50/50 moments plus heat and too many safe frames makes Tekken 8 garbage to play for fun and horrible at a master/tournament level and not one single person is being honest about it, they continue to larp and say its a "skill issue" when clearly its not skills that are the issue its the amount of safe frames and poorly animated moves baked into T8 on purpose to garner more new players.... overall bad moves from bamco
@@MrSolidsnake293 And fuking rage arts taking so damage not even safe with just hitting single punch, Tekken 7 rage arts were much better.
Also he dropped the easiest combo against Ulsan.
I think u forgot to mention that Arsalan stick was buggy so he borrowed stick from someone, there was a video of Atif holding his opened stick and fixing wires and Arsalan was looking so troubled before the Group even started.
Didn’t see that.
Yeah, he didn't do his homework
@@ShazyZonedelete your comment, little bot
1. Comparing Stock SSIV to SFVI is moot point. The fact that the entry fee is still around the same price is a blessing considering the amount of DLC that has to be purchased for each console used to stay current. Be glad TOs are not raising the price on each game every time a new character DLC pack comes out. 2. Take any stream from EVO 2010 and compare it to most locals (or hotel matches) and the quality and production is on par or greater than that of that EVO. It’s one of the factors that push TOs to give locals a big tournament feel. All of that costs money. The electricity needed to run a tournament is is going to raise anyone’s bill compared to just operating normally. Plus, the venue may have to buy additional equipment (battery backups, surge protectors, power conditioners), just to be able to run the tournament. 3. If you want to try and keep venue fess down, donate to the venue directly to help cover their bills and expenses. Electricity is one thing, but water, toiletries, and food/snacks are all things that should be factored in why you’re paying a higher venue fee. Why should the venue fee be less, when you use more resources than regular events held at that same venue?
The competition was incredible, Ulsan is top 5 in the world, and Jeon Dong is also a great player. It happens to the best of them.
Facts. But saying just that makes the video only 1 minute lol
