I just turned 18 a while back started uni 3 months back. I made two friends in the start and they turned out to be horrible people. I was able to distance myself from one but now the other one is stuck with me. I have no one to turn to in uni and it gets so fucking depressing honestly. I have sm pain I have to deal with everyday and all my other highschool friends have sm friends in their unis now. Also thank you sm for making this video it's genuinely my comfort now and one of the only things that can make me feel better. I also went thro a break up in the second month of uni💀🙏.

I have friends but like everytime i hangout with them its like im not even there. and now most of them have girlfriends or jobs so they just dont talk to me often. Im just stuck in this form of isolation almost. like all in the span of a few months this happened to me.

Seeing this late, I pray you're in a better head space now. I'm 23, I literally have like 2 friends. As soon as I left school, I stopped meeting the people I went to school with, they wanted to go out and do dru*s and drink. I knew it wasn't me, I just did my own thing, met what now is my best friend who lives in the US. We talk every day etc, the only thing you can do is see if there's any social groups near you, go along and see what happens. Again, I pray you're in a better mindset now.

19, got sober and i have no friends. i’ve gotten to the point where i don’t want them either. it feels like everyone my age just wants to fuck randos/ smoke weed/ entertain toxic relationships, drama, and negativity in general. and no hate for real, i think it’s a right of passage yk? i just got most of that out of my system when i was way too young unfortunately. but ppl older than my age have mortgages and careers and kids and it just feels ill-suited to be friends w them. anyways yeah i feel u.

I relate to this sm. my only true friend rn is my bf of 3 yrs and I do want to marry him soon once I graduate college this month but part of me wishes I was out, doing more with friends my age. I'm 22 for reference and my last best friend I had was for 7 yrs all through middle and high school until we had a friend-breakup that was really hard (she broke my trust) especially since I feel like we were truly platonic soulmates and to this day I don't regret how things went but I do miss her sometimes in waves. life is weird but to put things in perspective, I would rather have it take 10 years for me to find a true, good friend than have 10 friends who all secretly want to stab me in the back. I was in a sorority for 2 yrs and in those years, I encountered the most hateful yet nice to your face, "friends". I would give anything to have more friends rn but at the same time, as I get older, have quality friendships over quantity will always win in my book. I know this video was posted a while ago but I genuinely hope you're doing well and have found some people you enjoy :)

Got my first friend when I was in my mid-20’s. Life did get much better for me as I continued through my adult years and learned better how to navigate life and better understand myself and my real needs. Hang in there!

Im a 29 year old female with major social anxiety. I have no friends. I've never dated anybody or even kissed anybody. Every now and then, I break down crying because I feel like I did something wrong to end up alone. I mean I have my parents who love me. But like if I have a concert or something that I want to go do; the only people I feel that I have to ask is my parents. How do you gain friends and make new connections as an adult? Please let me know. I feel like I missed out on a lot and hopefully I can somehow figure it out but idk.

I hope everything is going better for you and don’t worry even if it’s one person as long as you get joy out of it that’s all that matters. Going out by yourself may seem weird but it actually gives you a better chance to enjoy the little moments and meet new people.

I loved this book so much I read it in one day..! I started in the morning, and that day I was travelling home from vacation so I had about 8-10 hours of free time and just tore through the whole thing. Funnily enough, I met a girl in the airport while waiting for one of our delayed flights and she also reads Colleen, so we laughed about that and talked about Verity. Awesome book! I'm about to start "Regretting You".

For people who are reading it. I'm 21, and I'm in the same situation since i was 13... ❤ (And in the end I just ended up getting used to it, just learned to enjoy being with me, but it doesn't apply to everyone I know it🙃), I spent my adolescence without friends and I'm fine, so they are not that important (maybe a bit overrated) don't feel sad for that, it's normal, don't blame yourself for not having friends or something, your not a "weirdo", You are not antisocial, find your reason to be happy, focus on things that make you happy, even without friends, (maybe you'll end up liking being with you, and maybe love yourself more). Don't think about stupid things (like Su1C1d3 or something) you'll be ok, trust me, it's going to be ok, don't fall into depression for that, your life is meaningful, you are perfect just the way you are, and who knows🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe one day you'll really find the right people that will make you feel happy, and that will never betray you.❤ Take care and never give up, stay strong❤ Ps: English is not my native, if i wrote something wrong I apologize 🙏

I’ve been in recovery from an accident where I went into cardiac arrest over the summer and I had an appointment today that showed my heart function is close to normal and that was a huge milestone for me. I was cleared to return to normal activities but the Dr. also said to avoid high stress activities (roller coasters, competitive sports, etc.) basically for the rest of my life. The time after the accident was very hard with all my other conditions (migraines, a skin condition, and bipolar disorder) this video made me feel seen and I appreciate u making it😊

I feel like many people are going through a phase of having no friends. I have 1 good friend, but they live really far away. It can be kind of lonely because I have no friends to hang out with. I hope you're doing better 💙

im 17 and only have one real friend (who’s more invested in her new boyfriend than me) and i feel so lonely. recently i got a new job, went back to school, and got my license. things are looking up but i don’t know how to become “actual” friends with my classmates and coworkers. i wish socializing came easier to me.

I’m in grade 8 right now (13yrs) and I struggle to make friends too, I have one person I talk to in class but long story short it’s impossible for me to get close with them cause they don’t know English and I’m not the most fluent at my native language (Vietnamese)And there’s like only 9 girls in my class and all of them have there own friend group so I struggle really bad with having no friends especially when last year I was considered “popular?” I try to convince myself that things will get better once I start Highschool but I’m very nervous with starting Highschool especially as a freshmen with no friends😢 great to see someone talk so openly about this though 😊😋 (manifestating some friends to come into my life lolz)
