Being Present is Hard, and It's a Practice | Vancouver Vlog
It has always been a struggle for me to be present in the moment. When was the last time you truly soaked up the moment? Can you remember the little things?
In a world constantly on the move, I think we often forget how to enjoy life by simply being present. It's about being mindful of our thoughts and intentions and finding joy in the ordinary, the everyday wonders surrounding us.

4 days are almost? Are not sure if stays 4 nights or 6 nights
Depends on what you plan to do, if you plan to shop, eat & sightseeing, 4 days are enough. If you want to experience beauty treatments, other personalize experiences, then stay longer if you have time.
Thank you for sharing. This helps a lot.

Hello chị 😊😊😊😊
I did a day tour wine taster and lunch and cruise on small boat . It was amazing day out . Met wonderful people too. It was on getyour guide . Douro river cruise and wine tasting. Fabulous day
❤❤
Hi, I enjoyed the cruise itself maybe a bit more than you but have to agree that the tasting was disappointing and too rushed. Breakfast was not up to much but lunch was good. Later in the holiday we went up by train and stayed over which we enjoyed more but both were good.
Nice video, but let me give a more better tip , for transportation no need to do advance booking u can use Grab the southeast Asian Uber. For exchange rate best is change at your own country ,if u think the 275k difference because I think going to holidays no need to calculate so much as not that we are changing 10 of thousands For SIM cards I agreed with u
You forgot to tell people that there are cruises of several days! :) People should do the several day's cruises because that way they can spend days on the places, and have a bigger experience, even participating on the process of producing wine on the vineyards themselves. Of course these fast cruises are very time limited, but there are other options in which people spend time in several cities, check places where wine is made and stored, festivities, etc. These fast trips are for people without time, like when we climb the Arrábida bridge to see the sunset up there, and only have a few minutes driking a bit of wine. It all has to do with the time we choose to spend. But the several days cruises are more expensive obviously but some choose those.
I’m going to Hanoi in 2 weeks
I tried getting directions in South Korea using Amap (Chinese, not korean), and it's 100% working, Petal maps also 100% works in South Korea (Multilingual)
Hi seeing your video I think the trekking route looks too difficult and slippery for my elderly parents (62 and 55 y.o). Would you actually recommend still going?
@@b3neaththestarlight299 hi It was difficult for me in my early 30s but I'm also very out of shape. The rice field is very slippery so it wouldn't recommend it if your parents are not frequent hikers. If you have the right shoes/ boots it will help
Is there rental bicycles available ? And if can we use debit card?
@@shrutihazare hi there are many bike and scooter rental places around. I think for scooter you would need international license. I’m not sure about using debit card, it depends on your bank but card payment is very common there
What time was that train?
@@jpzamora143 the schedule changes from time to time. Closer to the time you go i would google “Hanoi train street schedule today” to get the latest from recent blog posts. Sometimes the street is closed to local residents only for safety reasons
Question if I go to Vietnam when do I exchange my money do I do before I leave the USA do I do it at airport when I arrive in Vietnam or do I do it outside the airport in Vietnam?????
@@Irishman8787 hi, i would prefer doing it once you get to Vietnam, as the dollar is a favorable currency there so the exchange rate could be better. Between the airport vs outside the airport, it’s a matter of convenience. You can find better rate outside but if you feel comfortable having cash on hand the minute you arrive, airport is a great option.
@@hellowinnie thank you that's nice advice appreciate it I'm sure 5000$ USD will , be enough for me to vacation a month in Vietnam lol for me myself and I !
@@Irishman8787 that’s why more than enough if you already book your stay. An option i would recommend if your bank allow you to withdraw money overseas with a small fee. It would be safer and more secure than carrying a large sum of cash. Have fun!!
is it better to cook the cruse online or from hanoi
cuz I searched in Tripadvisor and didn't find any cruse with Twin bed
@@AggressiveWarrior1 hi, you can book it online ahead of time if you find what you like or if you want a local travel agency to search for what you need and book it there, that’s fine too. They have a lot of info and usually can find you a cruise that fits your budget and needs.
@@hellowinnie I did and found one similers to your cruse for 280usd per person for 3D2N is this good deal ?
@@AggressiveWarrior1 hi, i think that’s a very decent deal for 2 nights stay.
This is so useful! The tip about avoiding pickpockets is definitely something I'll keep in mind. Have you tried any local dishes that you’d recommend? I’m always on the lookout for new food adventures!
@@CultureDrift i recommend bun cha in Hanoi, it’s a Northern pork vermicelli dish that’s different from the version you get in typical Vietnamese restaurants cause they serve the southern version.
Vietnam Thailand Cambodia - make sure you hv new clean bills and bring your passport-they won’t exchange the money took me a while to exchange my dirty American money 😂

where did you stay in Hanoi? hotel recomm pls.
I'm coming in November 2024 🎉 Not sure which part I need to visit 1st ? North or south
@@geraldhogan1980 i would go from North to South as the north side is a bit colder so you slowly acclimate to the weather before heading south. The north side has more old charm, history and character compared to the south

@@MukeshSahu-mn2ps if you are in the old quarter then check out Hoan Kiem lake area at night, the locals are out and about, small vendors selling local crafts and street food. Near by there’re many local bars you can check out. They have some cool speakeasy. I’ve been to the player cocktail bar and enjoyed the drinks there, chill lounge vibe

How did u book a cab?
I booked a tour via Klook and it included transport to the harbor and back to hotel, and transport while we were on the island. All private transport so we weren’t sharing car with anyone
th-cam.com/video/gPLE8_0sPTI/w-d-xo.html
Hi Winnie. Going there in few months. Any good recommendation on a nice hotel that is close to Old quarter and a nice one to stay, please ??
I recommend the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. This historic hotel offers luxurious accommodations and closed to the Old quarter. There are many options for 4 and 5 stars hotels near by depend on your budget.
there no way the ticket that cheap lolz
haha, that was before the post covid travel rush, and it's a short 4-hour ish flight.
Thanks for sharing! Halong Bay is too crowded and maybe Lanha bay is a solution
Nice
Super❤
Xin chao
Does klook reliable how did you book ??
Hi, i booked with Klook all the times and it’s very reliable, i haven’t come across an irresponsible vendors. I always compare prices and i find Klook is more competitive compared to get your guide and Viator in Asia
What cheap and nice hotel would you recommend ??
There are many options for 3 stars hotel ($20 - $40) in the old quarter area which is closed to many attractions.
Super 👌 👍
Thank you 😊
I went to Hanoi for 2 days and ended up staying for two weeks! Such a great city!
What hotel would you recommend ?
@@tloyou We stayed in a few! My favourite was probably a place called “Camellia” because the area had a local feel to it and also there were nice food and coffee spots nearby. Just depends where you want to stay really! We stayed in the old town for a few nights too but it’s a bit too loud and tourist heavy for our liking.

Thank you for the information. I want to go in Seoul.😮😮😮
It was a great city, awesome mix of modern and history, definitely recommend!!
Hi so after train ride did you take taxi to girona attractions or the Basilica? What are the sights not to be missed? Thanks
Hi there, Girona old town is a very small so we walked around to check out all the sights. It was very close to the train station. There are bikes you can rent from an app like their local Uber. The popular sites are the main square, the Eiffel bridge, the medieval streets and the basilica, and the old bath house. They offer walking tours, and even one for Game of Thrones fan.
Thx
Did you buy the tickets in advance for the bus?
No, turn out you can pay directly by credit card on the bus, they have a POS on the bus, just tell the bus driver how many tickets you need.
