I'm going in November and I cannot wait. All the places you mentioned are on my list and I'll be there for only 5 days...I'm already disappointed that I'll be there for only 5 days. If I didn't purchase my tickets already, I would have extended my stay...It looks like an AMAZING place and I cannot wait to go! Thanks for sharing your video.
Is there any guided tours you would recommend in traveling through Seoul? And also if a person was doing a 7 day trip how much cash would you recommend a US citizen bringing for exchange?
Hi Darren, many historical palaces have free guided tour, I highly recommend you take advantage of that as it will make the visit more meaningful. The most popular guided tour is the tour to the DMZ, you can't go on your own due to its sensitivity. You can look on Klook for tour you may like, like this one www.klook.com/en-US/activity/789-nami-island-petite-france-tour-seoul/?spm=SearchResult.SearchResult_LIST&clickId=e58bbf46ae In term of cash, depend on your budget, a budget meal is around $8 (10k won), you can budget $60 a day for food, public transportation, sight seeing tickets, and $100 a day if you want to shop and dine out at nice places. Many places accept credit card so don't worry if you didn't bring enough cash.
Depends on what you plan to do, if you plan to shop, eat & sightseeing, 4 days are enough. If you want to experience beauty treatments, other personalize experiences, then stay longer if you have time.
