    Ty, I want to thank you for the research necessary to find these dampers. I purchased two for my car and set them aside until I put in the new motor mounts. Last week I tackled the rear motor mount and in the process, I replaced the damper. I had replaced the front the month before. Between these new dampers and the solid poly mounts the car is much more responsive. This combined with a short throw shifter and a 31mm anti sway bar this car now handles great. The Nolothane Antisway bar had to be redesigned as the original design on my fully original suspension was hitting into the lower control arms. It took them a few months for them to redesign it, but it was worth the wait. Cornering is now flat, but the downpoint is that this is a solid bar not hollow like OEM so it weghs much more.

    There have been quite a few manufacturers that make stuff in China now that just isn't the same quality anymore. Like Moog used to be really really good. So with all of that in mind, if you can find New old stock on things, you'll get lucky. I noticed that you can get a Nissen radiator for the legend,so I wonder what the quality are on those. Looks like it's a relatively small plant they have in Denmark. I know for the ka9s I'll be looking at getting a koyo rad instead, And if they are solid units, I might keep a couple stashed away lol.

    Just curious, the Helms states either 79.6 or 80lbf-ft for wheel nut torque, why would you go with 95 lbf-ft as stated in the video?

    • @acura2g
      @acura2g หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mark-c5l 95lb-ft is considered the industry max torque for aluminum wheels. When you factor in torque wrench acceptable variation percentages it is better to err on the side of over torquing (compared to Honda specs) slightly than under torquing to avoid wheel lugs loosening through expansion and contraction.

    • @Mark-c5l
      @Mark-c5l หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@acura2g Interesting, in regards to the 95lbf-ft aluminum wheel standard you mention; however, I just can't see, after twenty+ years without issue using the 80lbf-ft Helms recommendation, myself over torquing by 15lbf-ft to counter alleged presence of that much expansion & contraction. Have you ever tried to remove the wheel nuts at 80 lbf, in an emergency side of the road flat tire situation, with that inadequately low leveraged puny wheel wrench included with the jack without a cheater bar, lol? It would be pretty near impossible at 95lbf.

      I have a cl6 and a 98 accord. On my accord that happened and it was the ignition switch. Could be something else though...fuel pressure regulator/fuel pump/main relay? Check engine lights? Plugs/coils? Alternator charging battery?

      Always start on the diagnostic clues. Do you have a check engine light? If so, most auto part stores will scan them for free. Does it happen when it's hot? Does it happen during certain situations? Common problems worth looking at: -IACV leak -Main Fuel Relay -Vacuum Leak -Ignition switch Thanks for watching!

      @@RusselResthaven Thanks, I replace fuel pump relay a while back.

      @@acura2g Mechanic did a scan only found EGR code. So I have him replaced fuel pump, fuel relay (2nd one). I took off throttle body and EGR valve and clean them. Replaced all 6 coils & spark plugs. Vacuum tested and it's fine. The weather that day was in the 70's one day in early April this year. That was the only time it happened...I'll keep a eye on it and make sure to record everything next time. Thank you for your response.

      Master relay switch under drivers dash. TH-cam the video. If it was hotter than 80 or if car was sitting in sun with windows up before you got in could be the answer. Had that happen with my 01 before and I got a relay and it worked. Seemed to only happen on super hot days with windows up in sun

    Great video! Just purchased a 95 Legend, 55k miles from Phoenix AZ. Just noticed condenser fan doesn’t come on. This video helped so much! Thanks.

    Excellent video! I just purchased an oil separator for my ‘15 Mustang GT and the lines are rubber like this but, one is too long and pinched off from the extreme bend. I’m going to shorten that line and getting a custom bend with no kinks will be perfection. Have you done a video with some of the newer tubings? They might be even easier to make these bends.

      By newer do you mean silicone? I haven't

      @@acura2g Not silicone, although that would be another option. I’m referring to the poly type vacuum lines used on newer vehicles. They kind of look plastic but, are very strong walled.

    What were the sizes for the hydraulics line nuts? Appreciate everything you’re doing for the cl community by the way!

      Good question. I can't clearly remember but it was either a 12mm or 14mm.
